Guest Reviews
- CSmith (2/5): Do not stay at this hotel!!! - It was run down and dirty. Nasty carpet, uncomfortable beds, wires all over the ceiling. Towel rack was busted in the bathroom, linoleum floor was coming up, dirty shower and ceiling. We had a "kitchenette" but there was no coffee maker or toaster and the dishes were on top of a 2" layer of dust. The creamer and coffee were in the "office" and the creamer was curdled. There was one room key and there was no maid service. We had to ask for clean towels and take out our own trash every day. We also had to pay for shampoo... It was just an awful room and I would not have paid even $10 a night for it.
- Verified traveler (2/5): keep looking.... - Reservation was messed up and could not stay the booked 4 nights and had to move. Not clean. One bed was on the floor with no frame. Management friendly. Construction and upgrades are only being done on apartment attached to office. If your young and just want a place to crash, the location is good.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I was very disappointed and won't go with expedia again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The place was fine for the price and location. They are currently renovating, so some things were sub-par. The lady in charge was very nice and accommodating, even though she had written down the days I would be there incorrectly, we still had a place to stay.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Very run down and ugly - For the price I was extremely disappointed, the one person staff was very nice but the motel is the worse place I ever stayed. Just too tight, dark, dingy rundown. For over $220 a night it's a joke!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Rooms were outdated and gross. Actually wanted to put extra clothes on to climb into bed, kept my flip flops on because I didn't want my feet touching the nasty rug definitely won't be staying there again
- Rita (2/5): - Was awful. Dirty. Rude staff. Awful amenities. Many broken things in room. Coffee maker provided but no coffee. Full kitchen with no glasses to drink from. Four people in the room but no back-up toilet paper. No tissues and no wash clothes. No complimentary toiletries. Had to pay for them. TV did not turn on or off with the remote. Dirty carpet. The pics online DO NOT represent the rooms. At all. All of this for $200 a night
- Jason (4/5): - Meh.
- Christine (4/5): Hampton Beach hotel - Very basic hotel. Under new ownership I believe so they are trying to fix up a few things. Extremely friendly and helpful manager. Parking is tight (only 1 car per room), and the room we stayed in was a large size, but only had a small window unit air conditioner which didn't do a lot with 90 degree heat. Also had a small kitchenette area, but no pots and pans, and only 2 dishes/glasses. Would be a great room for a family as it has the small kitchen area and is very basic. Price was VERY high for the quality of the hotel, but having never stayed overnight at Hampton Beach before, I'm not sure what prices other hotels charge.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Location Location location - It's a good location to walk around hampton beach.
- Cheryl (6/5): Vacation day at Hampton Beach - Room was small, see thru curtains in the bathroom made it uncomfortable when changing clothes or using the toilet. Balcony was a bit narrow but allowed smoking right outside yout room. Parking was tight. A couple of residents lived there and stayed outside on the deck while we hauled luggage in and out. Had to walk sideways to get to our room. On the plus side, it was convenient to get to the state Park in Hampton and the boardwalk with tons of entertainment and fun stuff to do.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - 2 min walk from the casino ballroom. Staff was very nice. Renovation is need and was told was in the works.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice beach hotel at a great location - Located almost directly behind the Casino Ballroom, it is a very short walk to anything you want to do. It is an older hotel, like most of them are in the area, but the room was clean and more than fit our needs for an overnight stay at the beach. It is under new ownership and they are working on the place. I an anxious to see what they do with it.
I am very happy with the place and I do plan to stay here again.
- Jessica (8/5): Review, Hampton Beach NH - Stayed 5 nights. Hotel condition was overall okay but needs updating. The manager is super nice and very helpful! Perfect location near G St.
- dissatisfied (2/5): Dirty premises, no parking, obnoxious manager - This is a place for drug addicts, alcoholics, and prostitutes.
- Eileen (2/5): Very unhappy customer - It wa the worst place I ever saw. We didn't even stay the night. Bad neighborhood and filthy!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great value - Friendly manager on site, very available. Quiet, walking distance to everything but not so close that the late night noise from the boardwalk will wake you up.
- Lee (8/5): Clean, inexpensive , great for Hampton Beach - Hotel has recently changed hands. The new crew is busy overhauling the facility. My room was one that hadn't been overhauled yet, showed signs of wear, but was very clean. Room was set up to be an inexpensive place to crash to enjoy Hampton Beach (1 block away). Excellent choice for several (close) friends. Lots of restaurants, clubs, entertainment within a few minutes walk. Disadvantages: The Strip in Hampton in the summer is a party, going on into the night. Not the best spot for business travelers or families. Room wasn't really set up for someone to set up laptop and do a few hours work - great if you're there for fun.
- Alicia (8/5): Basic Beach hotel with great location and service - This is a typical beach hotel, nothing extravagant or fancy. It is a basic. It has exactly what we needed... a shower and a bed. The room itself looks like something right out of 1970 something, old appliances, paneling and tube tv. But the beds were clean and the room was quiet and spacious. The woman who runs the hotel was extremely nice and accommodating, running right up to the room with extra towels and cups when we called. The hotel is right in the middle of the strip, you can see the Casino Ballroom from the front door. If you aren't planning on hanging out in your room (and who would when you are on a beach) then the room is a decent option. We stayed at a different hotel in a balcony room right on the main strip overlooking the ocean the night before and paid about $25 more so I thought this was a little high for what we got but when rooms fill up quickly this wasn't a bad deal.
- Amy (8/5): - Very hospitable staff! Close to a lot of fun, older facility but just what we needed
