Lack of hot water (6 min max).
Extremely Leaky toilet.
Leaky bidet hose.
Broken air conditioner remote.
Loud generator sounds throughout the day/night.
Kettle cannot fit under the sink at all to refill water.
Lacking “do not disturb” door sign.
Loud sounds from water pipes.
Cafe inside the hotel doesn’t operate.
Cafe outside of the hotel is cash only.
Stray dogs wandering around.
- Yasmin (6/5): - Clean but basic hotel but has good cafe, supermarket next door.
- Yasmin (8/5): - Older but clean hotel, good cafe around the corner and big supermarket across the road.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Transit hotel ok, anything else look elsewhere. - Shuttle bus from airport to hotel departed late, we had to wait for more than 1 hour for all the hotel guest to arrive at the waiting area. The bus did not have any space for our luggage. Had to find another van to bring us to the hotel. No lift to the rooms, had to leave bags in the reception. Almost midnight by the time we checked in - too tired, no change of clothes, room bed and furniture looks old. Air-con blew at best luke warm air and bath/toilet has seen better days. Simple breakfast, if paying better eat at cafe outside hotel.
- Harry (6/5): - Far from Happening Gadong area. Hotel look bit tired. Room was very big. I would suggest to find something in Gadong Center near The mall.
All together was not bad experience.
- Rajendram (6/5): - Internet speed is very low.. Found very difficult to use even at nights
- Steve (4/5): Cheap hotel - First day at hotel the rooms aircon isn't working very well, I set it to 16 degrees Celsius and it's still quite warm to hot, request to change room, the reception said okay, however I can get the keys of the new room until I take everything I brought out, because I have already unpacked everything, I wanted to take the new keys for the new room and keep my current key till I transferred everything over but the receptionist said no, cannot.
Also wifi is pretty weak, like it's not stable.
The aircon of the new room is somewhere alright,
The aircon gets cold after a while, so I had to wait for a while.
TV channels is pretty bad, not much English channels other than a soccer channel, the rest are malay channels,
TV can only view images and musics from a external media
Toilet doors are pretty rough to handle, like hard to open and close,
Would only recommend this hotel if the person staying there just needs a cheap and good enough place to rest.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Close to amenities; supermarket, cafes etc - Convenient as restaurants and supermarket are within walking distance.
- Fith (8/5): lots restaurant around this hotel - overall okey. room is clean, but this hotel dont have lift. maybe because this hotel just have 2 level only. just 15 minute to the town and airport.
- Peter (8/5): Good - It was good
- Verified traveler (4/5): Boring and outdated hotel. - Transportation is big issue if you decide to travel city. Not much to do around the hotel.
- mohy (4/5): - No smile from some staff far from mall nice for food I can back there not to hotel near hotel
- Verified traveler (10/5): basic with all the amenities and value for money - It was great staying here . It cost me 20 Brunei dollars to get to the hotel from the airport and there's a big shopping centre right next to the hotel . Staff were responsive but the hotel was basic and right for the prIce.
- Rachel Ann (8/5): Comfortable Budget Hotel - Good basic/budget style accomodation, very comfortable. Interior feels a little old but not dirty
- Verified traveler (6/5): Clean hotel - Clean hotel
- Matthew (8/5): Fantastic value for money, helpful staff. - Excellent value for money, close and convenient supermarket (Supasave). Restaurants around for breakfast, unlimited internet included.
- vittoria6 (6/5): A good value outside of the city - The bed was comfortable. The television had limited channels that didn't come in very well. The staff was friendly and helpful. I really liked that a supermarket was right next door and bus #55 was convenient to take to the city and back.
- AlexeyV (6/5): Budget hotel in bad location - Close to airport, but far from the city. Very simple breakfast. Bad smell in the room.
Pluses: very late check out is possible with no extra charges. Ask consierge for cheap shuttle to/from airport.
- frances1 (4/5): Hard to get to, room pretty basic - Hard to get to and not close to anything, grout in bathroom pretty dirty. However, staff polite and nice
- Grant (8/5): A great new modern hotel, with - A great new modern hotel, with decent size rooms, staff helpful, and free Wi-fi, which worked well. Not in the city, but only a short bus ride to the city. Buses run about every half hour, and only cost B$ 1.00. Only a half hour walk or take the bus to the Suburb of Gadong, a huge shopping area, with a big shopping centre, called simply "The Mall".
