Breakfast and dinner options through food trucks were really convenient - we loved the veggie/bacon buns and ramen. Lots of space and a nice onsen. Very friendly and helpful staff. Its a bit out of the main town but easy to get the bus around the lake
• Marguerite (10/5): Beautiful stay, off the beaten path from the larger cities of Kyoto and Tokyo, but worth the trip to get there. - The villa is located on the north side of the lake, farther away from the more “touristy” area and big hotels. The view of Mt. Fuji is amazing, and just a short 2 minute walk to the beach you can see the reflections of Fuji on the lake. The cottage was large and comfortable with everything we needed and then some. The staff, Hiro and Koki, were extremely friendly and accommodating, and spoke excellent English, making it very easy to communicate. They recommended perfect places for photos, and a nice side trip to Oshino Hakkai to catch the last of full blossom trees with Fuji for great photos. They had a wonderful food truck for breakfast and dinner that served amazing food. We just wish we had stayed there longer! Nothing.

• Qunshan (10/5): Great Location, Stunning Cherry Blossom Views, and a Cozy Stay - We arrived during peak cherry blossom season, and the property faces the trees with stunning views, just a few minutes’ walk to the lakeshore. The host provided very detailed instructions, and the room’s traditional Japanese style was a highlight—especially for my parents. The heated floors were also a wonderful touch and made the stay extra comfortable. None

The cabin we stayed in was beautiful - so clean and had everything we could possibly need. The owner of the property, Hiro, was so helpful and kind. He gave us so many suggestions of what we should see and do and restaurant suggestions. He answered so many of our questions and always with a smile. Really appreciated the food truck in the morning for coffee and breakfast. I wish we could have stayed longer. Hiro and his brother and family were so incredibly nice. Hiro even came back on the morning we were leaving from something he was doing to say good bye. I would recommend this place 100 percent! Everything was amazing

You could spend the entire day on the bench at the entrance. The Sakura street was a short walk from the villas and the most beautiful that you’ll see in kawaguchi. Staff! Can’t even make a cup of tea or coffee unless you bring your own. If you don’t bring your own snacks your only option is the vending machine. So Just be prepared.

El personal muy servicial y amistoso. Nos explicaron todo con detalle y entusiasmo. El apartamento estuvo muy cómodo, espacioso y limpio. Tenía todo lo necesario y más. También contaba con Una habitación tradicional japonesa y otra habitación occidental. También tenían baño público muy bien. Nos buscaron a la Estación y también nos llevaron de vuelta a la salida. Staff are very helpful and provide guidance on sight seeing around. Onsen is nice and relaxing. Dinner suggestion is amazing. It would be wonderful if breakfast could be an option.
• Mun Hin Isaac (9/5): - We drove in and the host met us as soon as we had parked. They loaded our luggage into a wheelbarrow, and ushered us into the reception office which had a bunch of cats inside. There while the rest of the party proceeded to meet and greet the cars, I checked in. The host also had really good recommendations on where to visit, what to eat, where to get good views of Mt Fuji, etc. The property was spacious, with tatami rooms and bedding. We did have to set up our own tatami but there were instructions for it. There were cooking facilities, including a fish grill, so we actually cooked dinner using supplies from a nearby supermarket. When we checked out, the host took a really nice picture for us against Mt Fuji. We loved the authentic stay and cozy atmosphere. Nothing, we really enjoyed our stay. Location wise, it's best to have a car, or be prepared to call a taxi, walk a bunch, or hire a biycle.

He was very helpful with providing us with plenty of information before we even arrived and made our stay there stress free. The villa was ideally located within walking distance/hiking distance to most view points, is big, clean and well maintained. But that's a given for Japan. The view of Mount Fuji in the mornings and evenings were nothing short of incredible! The owners are such great cat lovers and they have 13 of them! If you're a cat lover, this is a haven for you, you can find them running all around the property! They have a vending machine and onsen on sight. The onsen, with separate male/female baths has great views of Fujisan as well. The breakfast food truck parks in front of the property in the morning, was organic and delicious. Would 100% stay here again!! The hospitality was perfect and the villa had everything we needed and more. None
