Shuttle bus to private beach no longer exists even though they advertise it. You can make your own way to the partner hotel @ the beach though & enjoy th facilities.

We came during some local festival days so outside was busy. Pool helped us relax after walking a lot. Staff talk normal, not too scripted like some places. Food by pool was decent.

• Paul (4/5): Un manque de communication - L'hôtel est tres bien placé, beau et avec un tres bon petit déjeuner. Nous avons prit l'avion pour venir, et avant de prendre l'avion nous avons finalement décidé de contacter l'hôtel pour savoir s'ils proposaient ce service. Nous avons prit contact (avec beaucoup de difficultés, ils répondent tres mal sur Booking, zalo ou whatsapp). Ils confirment qu'ils peuvent proposer un taxi, ils nous demandent notre numero de vol puis ... plus rien. Quand on débarque de notre avion ils ne se passent rien, personne n'était au courant et ils avaient juste arrêté de communiquer. 2e probleme : on avait demandé un lit bébé. On le prend sur booking, c'est confirmé, mais on décide quand même de confirmer avec eux par message et ils confirment. On arrive dans la chambre et rien. On va les voir a l'accueil, la personne nous dit qu'il était pas au courant, qu'il n’y en a pas de dispo et qu'il ne peut rien faire pour nous. Vu le prix de l'hôtel, ce niveau de communication est vraiment surprenant et décevant.

Everything you need is easily available nearby. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. The room for two people was extremely comfortable and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. Overall, it was great value for the price paid. • Jason (9/5): Great hotel for work or tour and steps away from the Old Town - This was a very nice place to stay for 5 nights for a work trip. Most people who stay at this hotel are on tours for 1-2 nights, so it is busy in and out each day. But the staff, the comfort of the room and bed, the location close to the Old Town and the quality and diversity of the breakfast make this an outstanding hotel. Lyn, Daisy, Alice and Violet were all high-level in customer service and hospitality. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Wifi was strong and the tv worked well. Finally, the breakfast was outstanding with its mix of local and international options. The hotel is a bit dated and could use a refresh soon, especially the bathrooms. Other than that, everything was very positive.

On my birthday they left some sweets in my room which was very thoughtful. The bed was very comfortable. It was a little noisy at times but nothing too problematic.

Gym in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch alles funktionstüchtig und ein Workout klappt gut. Pool sowie Hotelbar haben wir nicht benutzt. Haben unseren Aufenthalt sogar verlängert (7 Nächte), da uns die Stadt so gut gefallen hat. Würden auf jeden Fall wieder im Silkotel übernachten!

The location was perfect for exploring Hoi An, with the old town and markets just a short walk away. The breakfast was also very good, with a large and varied selection. We also used the spa facilities and had an incredibly professional massage. It was the perfect way to relax after a day of sightseeing. Thank you, Anna! The staff also deserve a big thank you - everyone was so friendly and helpful. All in all a great hotel that we would happily recommend!

Very informative and gave us some fantastic recommendations for a tailor near by. The room was amazing with a balcony over looking the garden. The food was amazing and the staff Especially Lily were fantastic and so welcoming, we enjoyed both breakfast, lunch and a dinner one evening and highly enjoyed it. Would definitely stay here again!

• Amanda (6/5): - Overall, our stay here was ok. The location is great and only a short walk to the old town. I booked a balcony room but didn’t really get that - it was more of a door that opened up but not really outside. I could have asked to change rooms but felt it wasn’t worth it. The room was spacious but bedding could definitely be improved. The cleaning of our room only happened once during our 4 night stay. We would go out each morning and return about 2pm to the room which hadn’t been serviced. They seemed to come later in the day which wasn’t great for us. Breakfast was average. On our first day we arrived at about 8am (breakfast ends at 9:30am) and many items were empty and didn’t look like they were being restocked. Other hotels in Vietnam had a lot more variety including fresh squeezed juices (not bottled). Also very busy at times with lots of tour groups. The service of the hotel was good. We had an issue with a very loud frog who kept us awake with its croaking. They got onto it, sorted it out and then the next day asked us if we wanted to change rooms. We only had one more night left so didn’t bother. Alice on reception was excellent - very friendly and helpful.

A 1 min walk to the end of the Old Town with all of the attractions and restaurants at your doorstep. The rooms are wonderful. Spacious, clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast is amazing. The staff are lovely. We had massages at the spa inside the hotel and couldn't be happier. We were looked after by Emily and Sarah and they were amazing. We would recommend both the hotel and the spa. Great value for money too

Lots of choice available at the buffet breakfast. Ms Lisa, Ms Lucy and all the staff were very friendly and made our stay very memorable.

Hotel ideally situated in old area & walking distance to markets, cafes, river etc. very friendly staff especially Lisa who was very supportive regarding gluten free foods. You have two pools for choose. The best for me was to take a massage from la soi beauty & spa. Emily was a great massagist. She has a lot of technical knowledge of body. I feel my body renovated. I recommended you all of this hotel.
• Maree (8/5): - Great location on the edge of the busy old town area. Approximately 10-15min walk to markets. Good breakfast, large room, comfortable bed, the pool was great for end of day cool down The staff could have been more welcoming and attentive when you walk in the entrance they always appeared to be looking down and busy. We only found out later there was a free beach shuttle, which wasn’t mentioned at check-in.

• Charley (10/5): - We loved our stay here. The staff were excellent, the inclusive breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect all within walking distance to the main sights. We extended our stay here as we enjoyed ourselves so much. Would definitely recommend 😄

The Silkotel Hoi A was/is the perfect place to stay, honestly. Morning to evening, short stay or long stay I can see us returning. The in-house breakfast will please western or eastern appetites with equal satisfaction and it isn't the same buffet every day. Perfect walking distance to “old town” Hoi An for great food/drink/nightlife and the staff is NOT shy with recommendations. Miss Lisa and the rest of her staff all the way across the board to the hotel spa was so attentive but not pushy or hovering. We were a BIG diverse group to host, eleven of us from NY to Texas, ages 4 to 74 in our group and we all couldn’t have been more comfortable. The rooms too! Firm beds (not too firm) with big fluffy supportive pillows. Rain head showers, good water pressure (my husband is fussy about these things), and super a/c (it’s hot AND humid in Vietnam, if you didn’t know…🤣). 10/10, would recommend.
