She wasn’t really friendly as well as the room was disgusting. We chose a place with a good price point yet conveniently with many options for things to do close by. We were created wonderfully! Room was clean and amenity stocked. Quiet-we heard nothing! Breakfast with Donna taking care of us was just a treat. We met a couple with must in common and well-we will be back. So must seating in the area for larger families. Game nights in our future! Everyone in the morning was so friendly. Keep it up Fairfield west!

- Jane E (8/5): - The only compliant I had of the room was missing facial tissues and carpeted floors. It was spacious, bright, clean, and well stocked with fluffy towels and coffee. The one thing I would strongly recommend to all hotels allowing dogs is a large fenced exercise area for visitor’s use.
- Travis (2/5): - IMO - for this to be in the MARRIOTT hotel family, it wasn’t in the best condition. It really needs a remodel as it’s quite out-dated. We experienced SO MANY issues w/ this hotel. 1. Our room smelled MUSTY 2. They didn’t clean out the shower in our bathroom; there was hair in the drain from previous guests. 3. The phone in our room didn’t work. 4. The WIFI was TERRIBLE 5. The lobby/kitchenette where breakfast is served was NOT kept clean 6. The hallway floors at this hotel were in much need of being vacuumed our whole visit (3 days) 7. My daughter got locked out of our room & went to the front desk for help (and 11 year old). The receptionist wouldn’t help her; instead of asking for room # and trying to contact the adult my child was w/, she told her, “I can’t give you a key b/c your name isn’t on the room.” WHAAAATT!?? B/c of the location of this hotel, we assumed that it was going to be extremely nice and even maybe a bit luxurious. This hotel was literally in a neighborhood where there are million dollar homes. However, we were extremely disappointed with our stay. We will NEVER stay at this hotel ever again!

Cold cereals was a choice as well. No waffles either day. We had trouble gettomg on wifi the phone in the room didnt work I needed a pen anyway so went down to front desk. I stood at the front desk for awhile and no one came out so I took a pen out of the pen cup they had and looked at the camera and mouthed i will return it. Had to wait till later that day to catch someone to help with the wifi.

- Kathy1980 (9/5): - Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable. Only a desk chair in the room. We are a couple so we need 2 chairs. When the a/c would shut off, the room smelled musty even though it was nicely remodeled. It was hot & extremely humid outside so maybe that was the reason.

- JoAnn (10/5): Houstonians - We were there for family reunion. The hostess was friendly. Check in was without any issues. Breakfast could use some upgrade. Maybe add scramble eggs on weekend.

Breakfast was dismal, with only one option of cereal, some yogurt and bananas as quick easy options. The only thing to eat was waffles or stale eggs and sausage. The pool was being refilled apparently during our stay so it was not usable, which was disappointing to our kids. I would have liked to know this before booking the room, but it was not disclosed. One thing this hotel had going for it was that it was in a nice, safe area of Omaha and was tucked away from noisy streets or city centers.

- Penny (4/5): Front desk staff needs more training - I had prepaid for my room and was charged the night before. Upon check-in, the host told me it was his first day. He asked for my credit card so I thought he was verifying my identity. He asked me to swipe my card for incidentals which I did but I had to swipe it twice and he charged me for the room again—even though I was prepaid. Since I was using a debit card, I received a bank notification that here were two charges on my card. Again, I said I had paid for the room and showed him the confirmation and the receipt. It was at this point he told me it was his first day and he’d get the manager. They claim to have removed the charges but it’s not off of my card as of this morning and I was told today it would be 3-5 days before there would be a refund. I don’t believe a person should be running the front desk on their first day with little to no training. It’s an inconvenience to have been charged twice for this room. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the parking area was well lit and safe. I just wish I wasn’t left on the hook for these charges.

They did not serve waffles as we were told they only served them on the weekend. The other food was not very warm, the bacon, sausages and omelets. I had to ask for a cinnamon roll twice before she finally brought out two for us.

- Kelly (8/5): - The Fairfield Inn in West Omaha was a good option for an overnight stay. It was a quick check in, the staff were nice, and the building was clean. The room was average. My only issue with it was that it smelled musky (or musty), like it was hot and humid or the A/C unit was too wet. The room was clean, and we had a comfortable night.
- mrs307 (2/5): Not a pleasant experience - This was a return stay based on excellent customer service by Echo at the front desk in March. When we returned for a wedding I wanted to go back. This time was a completely different experience. Echo was pleasant as always, it was everything else that was a nightmare. Upon check in, it was discovered my AC wasn’t working as the temp continues to rise in the room. They switched me to another room because there was no maintenance crew. I was moved from the third floor to the first floor..two doors down from the breakfast area. The toilet ran the entire three days I was there and when the bathroom faucet would run, it would smell like sewage/sulfer. Again, not able to be addressed because no maintenance but at least I had AC. The hallway was not vacuumed the entire three days I was there. The same food droppings from people were there on day one and three. The icing on the cake was coming back from a wedding to a foyer full of crying kids and yelling parents. Some sort of mix up happened and people were up in arms. Jessica at the front maintained composure but whomever came in in plain clothes was less than professional. He was literally verbally fighting with the guests who weren’t holding back either. The police came, kids were hysterical and it just wouldn’t stop. The next morning the breakfast area floor was a complete disaster and the main floor restrooms were destroyed and had been for days. This was not a cheap trip. I do not understand not having maintenance at a hotel for three days.

The electric outlet in the bath was not functional, the bedding wreaked of body odor, the shower curtain contained long black hair (which none of my party had), the coffee packets in the room were only decaf, and the front desk was rarely manned by a person. Overall, this hotel has become VERY undesirable, and not at all a worthy value.

- Marthajean (5/5): Very clean place but you should ask people if they mind a room next to the elevator. - It was clean and neat. I loved having homemade oatmeal available for breakfast. We were next to the elevator and that was irritating. I was woken up at 6am and heard it every few seconds from then on. I’m not happy about that. I also heard a dog bark.
- traceycM1927VZ (2/5): Poor attitude - They put me up on the 4th floor. I asked for the quickest room. I’m a light sleeper. They put me in a room that was next to the highway. I could hear every vehicle that drove by. Ask for a different room none was available. When I was checking out on Friday morning at 5:30. The front desk attendant had an attitude. I mentioned good morning. No reply back. Asked for an envelope. Without even looking. Was told there was none.
- Todd (10/5): - Room was great. Though It was missing the air dryer that it took a while for them to get one. 4am Saturday I was sitting in the breakfast room. Noticed the floor had food on it that was from the day before and others were pointing out also. Tables and coffee stand area needed wiping off. Cover on the one bench seat was wasted. Breakfast wasn't ready until 7:35. Some customers left without and upset. Orange juice was more water than juice. I don't normally give bad reviews but I almost grabbed a rag and start cleaning but not my job. Smokers were outside both doors we went out couldn't avoid them.

- Debbi (6/5): Hhhmmmmm - That I found a room in town - everything booked up due to College World Series and the kids' World Series. First, our suite was given away before I checked in and we ended up with a handicap room - however, since I was in the disability industry, I could educate them. Then, because I didn't request (??) that the fold out sofa be set up with linens... and they couldn't find any, we had to make due. Shower small and water hardly came out. Also the refrigerator froze everything... not good when you are diabetic and it freezes the insulin. We had to devise our own way as no one came up when we asked. The breakfast probably would have been good except eggs were cold, the college World Series people and kids are everything..... and so, we had to go out for breakfast. Was not like my usual stays at Fairfield.

- Laura (4/5): - Housekeeping never came by my room once in my 4 night stay. I have no issues re-using a towel, but it was pretty disappointing. The parking lot is riddled with potholes and frankly dangerous to drive through for fear of getting a flat tire. On the positive side, great location and plenty of food / shopping options nearby.

- BRANDIE (6/5): Hope next time is better - On arrival there was a mix up with type of room. Easy fix. 1st room we went to was still dirty. Easy fix. She got us an new one instantly. Unfortunately it was handicap accessible so no bathtub like i ordered. Bathroom door did not lock or close correctly. Pullout bed was dirty and there were no sheets or blankets for it. I went snd asjed for some and she was irritated that she had to put her phone down to get me only 2 blankets. Ice machine never worked on 3rd floor and when i told them she just shrugged at me. Ran out of bfast food very early on saturday and did not replace.

But that was ok as I am an early riser! I wish the hotel had been closer to my activity but that is not the fault of the hotel!!
