ceolgra (10/5): Oasis of peace in the middle of Medina - Outstanding stay at Riad Anabel We had a brilliant time here. Right from the start, we were welcomed with lovely tea and pastries, which was a great touch. The room itself was outstanding—I especially loved the brass toilet seat, such a unique detail! A huge thanks to Faud and his aunt, who looked after us so well all week. They were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was easily the highlight of our entire trip to Morocco. The location is excellent for the main square. They also made arrivals and departures effortless by organizing a porter to meet our driver with the bags, and again for our taxi to the airport. Highly recommend for the service and excellent value. Nothing. Can't fault this place

O concierge que levou nossas malas até o táxi na saída não gostou da gorjeta que demos e foi super grosseiro conosco. Ficou pedindo mais e ainda saiu resmungando. Il riad è molto bello, la posizione superba a pochi metri da tutte le attrazioni principali di Marrakech e il personale è stato eccellente e non avrebbe potuto essere più disponibile. La comunicazione prima del nostro arrivo è stata impeccabile: hanno organizzato il taxi per l'aeroporto. Purtroppo il tempo non è stato bellissimo e non abbiamo potuto cenare nel Riad. Colazione buona in stile marocchino. Da consigliare assolutamente. Rapporto qualità prezzo non eccezionale per la destinazione. nulla

simon (10/5): Riad Anabel - After reading several 5 star reviews from other people, we decided on Riad Anabel. We are so glad we did. The Riad is stunning, location superb and staff were excellent and could not have been more helpful. The communication before our visit was spot on, and they arranged the airport taxi and the concierge, who takes your bags from the taxi to the Riad (tip expected). We stayed in the Cannelle room, which was great with a huge bed and an added bonus of a shower with a sunken floor. As I'm over 2m tall it made a nice change to be able to stand up properly in a shower with plenty of room. The breakfast was enormous and delicious, so much so that one evening we stayed at the Riad to eat on the rooftop. It was the best meal of our stay (the lamb tagine was so tasty). Marrakech (particularly the souks and main square) is a total madhouse so be prepared, but the Moroccans are lovely people. Also some attractions, like the Bahia palace, only took cash - no cards. Overall a fantastic break and perfect choice of accommodation. We loved it all.

Danielle (10/5): A beautiful family friendly riad in a great location. - Riad Anabel was perfect for our family stay in Marrakech. We travelled with our children 10 & 8 and it was very family friendly. We arrived to tea and biscuits. Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful served on the roof top terrace. We were in Rose which was decorated beautifully, spacious and comfy. The rooftop terrace was a perfect spot to relax with a book or game of cards after a busy day exploring. Everyone was extremely friendly. We would highly recommend as a family friendly riad close to the main square.

Lonneke (10/5): Beautiful warm welcome stay in the heart of Marrakech - Beautiful traditional building, fantastic rooms, with wood carving and painting. Very central location, great loungy roof top terrace but best of all, the staff. Fouad goes above and beyond in an extremely friendly gentle way to make you feel welcome, look after you, book or recommend restaurants and organize transport. I would definitely love to come back to marrakesh and stay here again!

Vasileios (10/5): Fantastic riad, excellent hosts, magnificent location. - Where to start? Everything was truly excellent. The host and staff could not do enough to help us. Organising transfers, dinners, hammam, hot air balloon ride - everything. I really recommend you book dinner at Riad Anabel; the food was really excellent and good value for what you get. The breakfast is also excellent and we loved the eggs prepared in a Tagine. One of us had a massage and hammam at the Riad and it was also really good. Cleanliness excellent. Location really good, not by the main street which is noisy, near the main road, easy walk to all the souks and within the medina. We explored all of the medina on foot. Now for the riad itself; it is just beautiful and we were lucky enough to have some dry and warm days, that meant we could sit at the terrace, which I really recommend you do and see if you can spot the resident tortoise. This was our first time in Morocco, and I would recommend to anyone who is thinking of visiting Marrakech to stay at this Riad. You will not regret it. Nothing.
Catherine (9/5): Magnifique - Le riad est vraiment bien situé : dans la médina mais dans une petite rue au calme et très proche de la place Jamaa el fna. Toutes les visites principales se font à pied. Le Riad est vraiment très joli et extrêmement bien décoré à l'oriental. Le toit terrasse est ravissant. Le personnel est aux petits soins et le petit déjeuner magnifique ... idem pour le diner. Il manquait un peu de soleil mais pour le coup, le Riad Annabel n'y est pour rien !

Dorothy (10/5): Don’t miss this place! - It is an absolutely charming place to stay! Beautiful, spotlessly clean, wonderful breakfast with tajine eggs that are delicious! The service and kindness of everyone is great from Fouad , all the way to the desk receptionist, to the women that clean their hearts out everyday, to the kind man who serves breakfast every morning and makes sure that the fireplace is welcoming you with a nice cozy fire, to the kind man who watches over security and attended to the cats outside the Riad. All do a fantastic job! Do not hestitate to stay here , you will remember it as one of your favorite places ever, Not a thing

samantha (10/5): Fouad made my husband’s bucket list the check box he wanted! Greatful - Foad was amazing he was quick to respond and accommodating in every way. He was our go to from start to finish. The breakfast server was super kind and so quick walking the flight of stairs numerous times!! Whoever was responsible for prepping and cleaning our room so wonderful upon arrival rose petals and all amenities were available hot water pot and extras! ! I love the family energy!! My husband said great water pressure in the shower. Our adventure started with tea and yummies upon arrival and enjoyed excursions recommended by Fouad who defiantly knew his hime town. Defiantly check out his suggestions he's spot on. I was informed the city tour would be negotiated it wasn’t he had a plan a don’t ask what we were looking and even in our discussion of our interest had his agenda.

The rooms were beautiful and well maintained. Habiba took great care of answering all of our questions and making sure we know what options we had to do each day. Her nephew helped us with flight check in and was available to help coordinate parking or any other things we had questions about. The hospitality was on point and much appreciated! The guys who helped with the bags were nice and very helpful as well!!

olivia (9/5): - Beautiful room, wonderful roof top garden which was so peaceful to relax in the sun after a day out in Marrakech. Farood and staff went above and beyond. The breakfast was fresh and filling and they remembered our special diet requests. If you choose to have dinner there, you will not find better service or quality. The beds were comfortable, with one large stained glass window. I would happily stay here again. I stayed on the top floor room, so in the morning, could hear people having breakfast. Shower water would leak onto the floor so floor towels continued to get wet.
Kalukla (10/5): Un séjour parfait ! belles installations, belle chambre et hôtes très accueillants et attentionnés - Le riad lui-même était magnifique et idéalement situé à 10' de la place Jemaa El Fna. La chambre était superbe, ainsi que la salle de bains. (clim, thé et café, sèche cheveux, peignoirs, réfrigérateur, tv..) Le lit était immense et très confortable. Au rez-de-chaussée, il y a une petite piscine, idéale pour une utilisation par temps chaud La terrasse sur le toit est superbe, calme, entourée de belles fleurs, des zones ombragées et ensoleillées (beaucoup d'endroits pour s'asseoir et transats). Vous pouvez prendre le petit-déjeuner en terrasse, (choix de pâtisseries, pains, confitures, miel, thé, café et jus d'orange frais) et vous pouvez également manger au riad (excellent !)en le demandant. L'accueil de Habiba et de Foued est chaleureux et souriant. Ils sont toujours prêts à rendre service, c'est agréable. Dans un séjour parfait, de belles installations, une belle chambre et des hôtes très accueillants et attentionnés

We had a hammam session on premises, such an unique experience! We also booked a relaxing massage - was done in our room - best we had in years! Highly recommended! Nothing!

Robert (10/5): Stunning riad and warm hospitality. - What a beautiful riad! A quiet oasis of calm within the souks of Marrakech. The inner courtyard was stunning, with birdsong and tinkling water in the background and traditional decor. Everyone who looked after us was amazing (thank you Fouad!) The breakfasts were beautifully presented on the top floor. Yoghurt, honey, different types of bread and Morrocan eggs. The mint tea has become a daily habit for me now. The room itself was also gorgeous! Not a thing!

Mary (10/5): Best riad EVER!!! - Best Riad I have ever stayed in!! It is next level service and attention to detail. I did the hamman and it too was perfect...a blend between traditional Moroccan and western spa sensibilities. Everything was so thoughtful...a safe, tea kettle and coffee machine and even luggage scale in the room. Beautiful courtyard and so many traditional decorations and furniture. ALso good location in the medina....quiet off like a few streets but easy to get to and felt very safe. Also, not too far from exit of medina and place to get transport--which they thoughtfully arranged. ALso fantastic huge included breakfast on a beautiful terrace. Would have like windows that opened placed somewhere other than right at the bedside on the ground floor. a small thing....

From tea, to breakfast to the amazing recommendations everything was sublime. We even took a cooking class at the hotel. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It is in an amazing location yet feels quiet and removed from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. A truly perfect hotel. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Once I come back to Marrakech I will be returning.

Everything was well set and the Staff was very helpful. It is only 5 minutes from the entrance of the Gates. A good breakfast is prepared for you. Staff members consistently go above and beyond to assist you at all times. It is a very safe and wonderful place to stay with family. It was my first time staying in a Riad, and I would love to come back to Riad Anabel. Nothing

Katelyn (10/5): - The staff are amazing! Everything about the Riad was top notch. I recommend booking the airport transfer theough them as the vehicle can only take you most of the way. You will have to walk the rest of the way to the Riad. They have someone come and meet you and takes your bags for you. The breakfast was huge and amazing. Very clean. Room has air conditioning. Always there to help you woth any advice you need. Highly recommend.

Agnes (10/5): Truly magical experience - Magical riad with beautiful decoration, clean and quiet but still close to the lively streets of the medina, like a little oasis. Everything you need is available in the room, breakfast is tasty and plentiful. Staff are amazing, very kind, polite and friendly, accommodated early breakfast request, arranged a hammam and massage (great experience) and were available around the clock. Would definitely go back again. Thank you all!
OVEIMAR (10/5): - The property is located in Marrakesh’s Medina, close to everything but quiet after a couple of turns. We traveled with two adults and two children. The room was what we expected; it can feel tight, but it was very peaceful, and the service was excellent. We had one of the best breakfasts during our trip, with various pastries, homemade Moroccan pancakes, yogurt, etc. I would go back to Riad Anabel if staying in the Medina.

The Riad was beautifully designed—our room had gold accents and a modern shower that even tracked time and temperature. It still felt authentic and smelled amazing. The bed was incredibly comfortable (I slept like a baby!), and the staff went above and beyond helping us plan excursions. The location was great too—quiet, but close enough to the action. We felt completely safe and welcomed throughout our stay.
