Guest Reviews
- Oleksandr (2/5): Not worth the money - Location l couldn’t connect to the internet or after I got connected it was weak . Cockroaches were in the room. Lots of homeless people around
- Rachel (10/5): Clean Rooms and Safe Area - The rooms are super clean and tidy. Beds are clean and comfortable. The area is very safe and the parking lot is safe. The manager is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. A+++++++++++
- Rachel (10/5): -
- Belinda (9/5): - Bed was comfortable and clean. Amenities were nice.
- Broadbent (8/5): - Staff super helpful and friendly. Bed was not comfortable at all.
- Becky (1/5): I didnt stay no room was avaiable - I did not even get to stay i lost my money the place didnt even have no rooms left T hey sold my room i had to walk find me a place to stay i had no more i need a ref u nd
- Gail (4/5): I won't book there again. - Bed was comfortable. TV worked. More shelves in bathroom, Breakfast or at the very least coffee maker in room. Hand towel and washcloth not provided. No hair dryer. Noisy neighbors.
- Marie A (3/5): -
- Gunter (2/5): One of the worst Booking.com choices I ever made. The place could be nice with some competent help. - view of the lake from the first floor, enjoyable seafood restaurant/ raw bar three blocks
east of the motel no ice, ac condensate drain leaked leaving puddle on the floor , door of room fridge would not stay closed,
toilet seat not screwed down, bathroom sink faucet not screwed down, no insulating cover on the bed or in
the room, nice flat screen TV but only the power-on button of the remote worked - no other remote button
did anything, so no TV. Front door was quite grimy.
- valeria (5/5): Needed a quick stay overnight, ended up being told to leave because of dog - Quick, fast, convenient Pet policy
- Julie (10/5): BRAVO Beauty Rejoices Attracting Vibrant Originality! o)< Thanks for a delightful get-away. o)< - superb
- julie (10/5): Terrific and kindness was given naturally by all who ran the property and participated with working -
- ERNEST (10/5): -
- Julie (10/5): PEACE Positive environment actively creating elegance. Thank you all who operate this space. o)< - GRACE It offered kindness and efficiency together.
- Linares (1/5): - Front desk gentlemen was very nice and apologetic. Room smelled strong of smoke, dirty trash in restroom and roach crawling across the floor upon arrival. Loud, screaming and cursing guests above us. Did not feel safe with my child. Left to find another hotel. Hoping to get a refund.

- Carey (10/5): -
- Lester (10/5): Great - Everything Nothing
- Carey (10/5): - The owner was very helpful, and concerned about your comfort and stay N/A
- Fredrik (6/5): -
- Shannon (1/5): - Nothing. When I got there there was no room available. I expect my money back. Or I will report to my attorney. Thanks to your company screwing up I am going to have to pay double rent to my landlord. I did not have money to get another room. Didn't like my experience at all.
- Falvo (5/5): Good location for me very friendly staff facilities is a little old - Very nice staff Old
- Jose (10/5): Was perfect , all good this time - Location
- Serrano (10/5): -
- Chavez (10/5): - I got the room I requested I did not have to put down an extra deposit, and me and my guests were left alone. NA
- Dustin (10/5): -
- Dwight (4/5): - tv did not work too much noise in next room
- Andres (10/5): - Clean room
- Fernando (10/5): - It was a good place to stay for what we were looking for to refresh and sleep for 2 nights. The room was clean, new sheets, fresh. We had a good experience. Thank you.
- Garling (8/5): -
- douglas (2/5): - Bed bug issue
- Jose (10/5): -
- Barber (8/5): -
- Rachel (10/5): - Nice little place for the price. Staff were friendly and helpful. Yes the rooms were a bit worn, but they were clean. Good budget hotel. It's not a luxury vacation obviously, but it's a good place to stay for an affordable price
- Tytenyana (8/5): - I like that the property wasn’t smelly but i did see a roach so hoping for my deposit back
- Derrick (10/5): -
- Jessica (8/5): - Clean, nice washer / dryer on premises although expensive
- Jessica (2/5): - It was clean but when a storm came around the window leaked. The beds were hard not comfortable at all. There was no coffee maker or coffee machine there were not any amenities just a microwave and a mini fridge. You could hear the neighbors thru the walls and there were no accommodations for smoking. Also it was not easily accessible from the road. I had put my daughter-in-law down to be Able to check me in but the reservation was in my name and if she hadn’t been with me when I went to check in they wouldn’t have let me they had the entire reservation in her name even though I made the reservation and paid for it they didn’t have my name on it at all.
- Jose (4/5): No coming back to a place review - When I arrived at the property, no one was at the check-in area. I waited 45 minutes until an employee showed up. They have a mosquito infestation, and at night, the mosquitoes gather at your room door, waiting to get inside, as there is a hallway light directly above the door. The bed in the room was extremely uncomfortable—hard as a rock—and every time I moved, it made a loud metal ringing sound.
- Eliphete (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Gwen (8/5): - First time here. Decent hotel accommodations for an overnight. Clean room.
- Danae (10/5): - Me gustó la limpieza
- ALEJO (4/5): - Terrible place. Dirty, obsolete.
- Sadna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charles (10/5): - Very friendly service from management.
- Kelley (1/5): GROSS - NOTHING The smell, the smell of the thin blanket, the stain on the blanket, the biting feel I was getting in the bed, the bugs outside the room
- Shawne (2/5): - The only thing I did like was the vanity, the staff was nice, but the problem was the roaches in the room, the old and not working microwave that had roaches also. The very low water pressure in the shower was also an issue.
- KEVIN (2/5): - At check in I had to stand out side ,the room smelled and unsafe area. I asked for a refund.
- Daniel (8/5): - Room was clean. It is a non smoking facility, but vaguely smelled of cigarettes.
- George (4/5): - This motel is on a main hwy and it is very close to the road.
You can hear cars going by all night long. The walls are paper thin and you can here tvs on and people talking all night long.
never again will I stay there.
- Kevin (2/5): Do no stay here - beyond dirty - The stay was terrible; the sheets were dirty, and when requested to have them changed, they were denied. Do not stay here.
- James (10/5): - Everything was good
- Andrea (1/5): I would not stay here again - Nothing Everything
- Carolyn (10/5): - Only thing is the beds were not very comfortable. It was very hard to go to sleep. The beds were hard other than that. It was perfect and they could use some vending machines.
- Beatrice (8/5): - It was ok. They have made some upgrades since my last stay but more upgrades are needed.
- George (2/5): Don’t get fooled - Room had a bad moisture smell. Please look at reviews before getting. At the hotel or motel had to give a $30.00 deposit on top of what already paid for with hotels.com. The only stayed about 6 hours due to the smell being to bad.
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional - The maid service was outstanding.
Very polite and took care of my ever need. Couldn't stay longer
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Way (7/5): Good - I evacuated to the motel during Hurricane Milton. The motel was accommodating to the emergency and a plus was they never lost power!
- Dayma (6/5): Pleasant -
- Garry (8/5): Very good -
- Jacob (5/5): Passable - It was in a nice location The parking and how loud other tenants where
- Crystal (6/5): - Asking too much a night (100)for a 1030 check out no amenities what so ever not even a blow dryer it is close to a McDonald's and hospital. You will hear constant beeping from light it is cleaner than most the other cheap motels in the area still needs to be cleaner it does need new carpet it is safe I stayed here in town for work basic cheap motel if need be and had to i would stay again
- Patra (10/5): Clean hotel - The stay was great the checkout time is a no.. 10:30 wasn’t good most places are 11am
- jimmy (10/5): - i like it all mangement super nice nice peopl
- Ricky (7/5): Good -
- Outkast (3/5): Poor -
- Nicole (8/5): - Convenient location
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mathis (6/5): Pleasant -
- Elissa (6/5): Not worth the noise - Staff responsive to request High traffic area including sirens from emergency vehicle route
- Joel (6/5): - I liked the location downtown, right next to McDonalds, a beautiful huge lake, a CVS and the city bus transfer center.
I didn’t like the fact that most interactions with staff are through a teeny tiny hole outside right next to the busy driveway. Also the $75 cash deposit was inconvenient even though I got mine back when I checked out.
The staff are nice but their proficiency in English is not spectacular, so sometimes it’s hard to communicate and you must repeat yourself sometimes.
- Eduardo (10/5): Good accommodation - Clean, close to work, Nice people
- Tina (10/5): - Updated older motel. Very clean. Nice comfortable beds. Friendly staff.
- Vansalisbury (3/5): Poor -
- Lacy (4/5): Disappointing - The gentleman at the front desk was friendly. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything outside and in surrounding rooms. There were a couple of rooms by us that partied the majority of the night with their loud music playing until they left with the sunlight. The room smelt musky and two of the pillowcases had old mildew stains on them. You can see outside through the vent in the bathroom.
- Grenzebach (7/5): Good -
- Chris (8/5): Very good - Very comfortable bed! Xtra blnkt provided! No lobby. ..do biz thru a Night
slot
- Joseph (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sue A (2/5): - it was cheap, so that was a good point. My husband stayed there, I stayed with relatives. It was ok for my husband, but there was no way I would have stayed there. Furnishings and rugs were very old and worn. Checking online it was the only motel that had a vacancy for the days we needed.
- Cindy (10/5): Amazing - The 25.00 I’ve stayed here twice and upon the 2nd stay I had to pay it doesn’t even say a deposit on the website
- Leslie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Genna (2/5): - It is almost impossible to enter the parking lot, the ice machine was broken, there are constantly emergency vehicles sounding, the walls are thin so you can hear the person in the next room and traffic outside, the towels are so thin and scratchy.
- Giancarlo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beverly (10/5): - Was only a few blocks from the hospital which is why we were in Winter Haven. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a coffee pot in the room
- Tracy (5/5): The tree company I work for sometimes changes locations in middle of my stay. Had to checkout a day early - Refrigerator/freezer Pre-payment no refund
- Giancarlo (10/5): Exceptional - Clean basic room. Could be a few dollars cheaper.
- Giancarlo (10/5): Recommended if you are going to Winter Haven or Legoland. - NIce, clean hotel. Friendly staff, guy at the front desk is super nice. I think he is the manager as he is always there. I don't know why this hotel is rated poor, it is clean and renovated. I'd say it dates to the 1950s construction but it looks kinda cool.
I have stayed numerous times, no bugs like many other hotels in Winter Haven. Also, right next to Lake Alfred, great for an evening walk by the lake. Nothing
- Durvalina (6/5): - It's an old motel with some updates probably cost them a $1000 to renovate and furnish the whole room. You can hear loud cars driving by. $100-120 per night seems ridiculous, more like a $60-70 night type place that you stay at in a pinch. It's a 2 star motel. It felt relatively clean on the inside. The room was about 90 degrees when we arrived. Put the AC low but took several hours to get comfortable
- Neismary (2/5): - The room was smelly, toilet dirty, towels dirty with stains and bed bugs crawling in the beds.
- Christopher (10/5): Good value - Good value for the price and friendly staff
- scott l (10/5): - Staff is welcoming & accommodating
- Stephen (10/5): - Rooms were all remodeled and super clean. Owners were nice and quick to respond. Nice property.
- Phillip57 (9/5): Superb - Close to everything I wanted to be
- Roberta (10/5): - Very clean & wonderful people
- Darren (1/5): Bad - Close to the lakes BED BUGS room 27 stayed 1 night by sunday night my lymph nodes had swolen on my neck as my body started to fight infection by Monday I'm full of bed bug bites ,Thursday and still itching all 200 + of them cant get intouch with customer services.
- Ferguson (6/5): Pleasant - Price Roaches
- Angela (1/5): BBI ( Bad Budget Inn) - Nothing Bit by bed bugs. Dirty carpet. Had to check out 5a.
The rm shown to my daughter prior to my booking the rm, was not the rm I was given. She was shown a rm with a hardwood floor , I was given a rm with dirty carpet.
- Dwayne (4/5): - The short walk down to the lakefront is very nice and scenic. Abundance of eating choices from fast food to nice dining within very short distances. However the rooms were only barely clean. the beds are like sleeping on the ground and the room was infested with roaches. No storage space or areas to hang anything
