Guest Reviews
- Cynthia (4/5): - The foes were not swept, someone’s hair was in the tub, walls were filthy, bathroom door looked like a dog tried to chew through from inside the bathroom.
We got in at almost 2AM, when we got up at 6 AM, we saw the box spring was covered in stains that looked like uterine and blood.
Soap was from a Motel six with a date stamp of 7/31/1981.
- Britni (2/5): - Shower did not work, there wasn’t even a handle on the shower to turn it on. Should have stuck with our other reservation in weatherford
- Kathy (4/5): Executive inn stay. Thumbs down. - Everone was nice but the condition of the lobby and rooms was pretty bad. The door to my room had a i inch gap at the bottom. I stuffed a towel in it to keep bugs out. The doow and frame were obviously broken into as it was wobbly and difficult to lock. The sink had chips and cigarette burns on it. The carpet had debris on it so it wasnt vaccumed.
The bed was ok but the pillows were thin. Sorry but i would not recommend this hotel.
- Kristi (4/5): Nice people crappy room tho - The people were real nice and it was overall at least quiet for the most part, however the door, the ac unit, the tv(not the tv itself but the satellite box or something, because there was no way to watch anything), and the bathroom vent were all broken. There was no hairdryer or ice bucket. I also killed 2 roaches within 5 mins of being there. Was given no password for the wifi and no way to call the front desk as there was no phone in room plus no phone number could be found for the motel. It was way too expensive for how much was wrong.
- sandi (6/5): Just the basics - The bed was very comfortable and the shower had good pressure and warmed up quickly. There was no coffee pot in the room and also no coffee available in the lobby. In our room, there was a good refrigerator with a freezer and a microwave that both worked nicely.
- m (10/5): - Nice place, friendly, clean rooms and good price
- daryl (6/5): - It was cheap and it was clean good place to sleep.
- Roel (2/5): - Terrible
- Carolyn (2/5): - Just No! Cockroaches, dirty needs severe renovations
- Vijay (4/5): - The room and the floor were depilated. Sofas were old had stains washroom area was below average maybe because the overall rooms were delipated.
Instead of the booked king bedroom I was given two queen beds room.
- Cameron (10/5): - It was a good stay worth it
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice people - Nice people
- Heather (10/5): - wonderful
- Heather (10/5): peaceful - awesome
- Heather (10/5): peaceful - quiet
- Verified traveler (6/5): Bates Motel of Mineral Wells - the Motel is old, and Dank. Old Stained Mattresses, everything looked filthy. would highly recommend a remodel. for the extra 30 dollars you can stay somewhere that has breakfast and an ice machine.
- Michael (4/5): Great customer service, but iffy accommodations. - When we arrived we found out that, due to renovations, the complimentary breakfast would not be available. Disappointing but surmountable. Then when we got to the room, the door didn't lock securely, the lighting and plumbing fixtures were dirty and loose. I also did not trust the bedding. We opted to leave.
The lady at the front desk cheerfully offered another room, but I declined. She then helped us find another hotel and took care of the bill.
Scary accommodations but outstanding customer service. I do wish them well and I am grateful for their help in salvaging our Daddy-Daughter weekend!
- William (2/5): Do Not Stay Here! - I was very disappointed. The room was musty, dirty and the pool had black water in it. I did not stay. I left. I have never seen a motel like this.
- Melinda (2/5): Awful...run!!! - I should of kept my money and slept in my car. The door was broke so it was a hassle to come and go. The door frame was also broke so door was very hard to keep shut and lock. Front desk said most rooms were like that. The room reeked of old beer and urine. Basically dont stay there unless ur homeless or a hooker. Or a junkie
- Verified traveler (2/5): Nasty - The room was nasty ,it smelled like cat urine and cigarettes. The only good thing was the sheetsw where clean. Never will we stay here again.
- Richrd (2/5): On the set of psycho - My stay, was in one word unpleasent. None of the advertised amenities were actually included. The room was dirty and had been vandalized previously . The t.v. had been punched and broken and half the lights did not work. The maintaince man had to open the room for me every time I needed back in because of their inability to provide me with a key. I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to a fellow traveller.
- Verified traveler (6/5): door - The outer door wouldn't lock, called front desk and told them about it. They sent maintenance right away, he fixed problem.
- Liz (4/5): Value Older Motel - I did not think this was as bad as most of the reviews suggest. It was a spacious older motel a little way out of town. It looked a little shabby but seemed clean and this was reflected in the price. Everything worked except I could not access the wifi. I slept well despite some noisy neighbors.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Tired Executive Inn - This poor, tired motel in Mineral Wells was cheap- but you typically get what you pay for. The place was tired looking- beds were bouncy, but had crisp new sheets. It was pretty buggy, but I took bug spray and had a number of face up bugs about an hour in. Although we were not in a smoking room, we might as well have been because the two rooms on either side of us were. This motel was kind of far out of center of town. Another hotel, closer in, same price, same issues- but at least it was closer to town. Like I said, when you only pay $40 per night on a weekend in a town where the nice hotel charges $200+ per night, you set the expectation bar pretty low.
- Verified traveler (2/5): A quick place to sleep and get outLubbock - No free breakfast, alarm clock not working broke ,no hot water in the mourning ,door hard to get in, dirty room and crickets all over inside, towels torn at ends
