The bed only had the cover most people take off and sheets. Luckily there were extra blankets to put on the bed. Quiet and decent location. The early checkout (10am) was disappointing.

Outrageous price! Paid $ 660+ for three days. Normal $70 to $85/ day. Attended grandson graduation at SUNY Potsdam. Hotel prices Outrageous!!! Made reservation in March for May 17 college graduation.

Rachel (5/5): We would like it if the owners could check to make sure everything is ok before checking in. - There is always someone available at the front desk. It was fairly quiet and the beds were comfortable. It is close to downtown Potsdam which was important for us. We've stayed at the Potsdam Inn two times. The first time there was no hot water. The owner did remedy this by the second day. The second time we checked in late and found our room had not been cleaned. We had to wait about 20 minutes while the room was cleaned.

The room was neat and tidy. The muffins were tasty for our breakfast. Everything was clean and nice except the floors. The floors felt gritty. The dirty floors made our light colored socks and feet black after walking around on the floors in our room. A little extra attention to floor mopping would be nice.

Verified traveler (10/5): Nice, comfy, and friendly! - Great stop for anyone passing through upstate NY. Rooms are small and basic, but very clean and beds surprisingly comfortable. Service is great--the owner offered us snacks when we arrived and breakfast the next morning and pointed us to restaurants in the (small) town. There aren't many choices for where to stay in the area but you can feel comfortable choosing the Potsdam Inn.

Sightseer00865165481 (10/5): Wonderful Stay - My family and I visited Potsdam to view the total solar eclipse and we had a wonderful time from beginning to end. The staff was very welcoming, our room was comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed the space so much we decided to stay right on their spacious lawn to have a picnic and view the eclipse instead of traveling into town. There was a lot of room for our son to run around and play. We had a really great time and would absolutely stay there again!

We were greeted each morning with good coffee, oatmeal, fruit and muffins. Beds were comfy and clean but a tad bit small for us used to sharing a king size bed. We still slept well both nights cozied together.
