Guest Reviews
- Nicolas (10/5): Maravilloso - el trato al cliente, bueno las instalaciones también sencillas pero muy tranquilo Nada todo estubo muy bien
- Abby (5/5): Eh - Nothing A lot
- Linda (10/5): -
- Robert L (5/5): A very convenient location, but lacks some very basic and reasonable attention to details. - The young man (Mr. Beebe?) who lives and works there was extremely polite, engaging, and helpful. I enjoyed meeting him.
I wish him well in his studies. 1. The once clear shower curtain had obviously not been replaced or cleaned in a very long time. All of the edges were curling, especially the corners and all along bottom. So much so that it held water, mold, and mildew. The entire curtain was caked with mineral deposit as well.
2. The electrical fixtures need attention. The bathroom had one exposed light bulb above the sink with no cover for the fixture; The large lamp shades were not fastened to the lamps, so they easily fell off of the lamps as you try to turn them on or off; very limited outlets to conveniently plug in anything.
3. Worn out, damaged and mismatched furniture.
4. Unforced errors that are easily fixed at minimal expense. This is clearly a management problem.
- Pedersen (7/5): Motel oplevelse - Beliggenheden og sødt værtspar
- Janis (7/5): I guess it was worth the price - I liked being able to park right in front of my room. Towels and sheets were nice. Nice hot water and great water pressure. Good AC & fridge & microwave. I had to make several trips back to the office. First to notify that the non-smoking room smelled like smoke and I didn't want to get blamed for smoking. Then the remote didn't have batteries. Then after the remote was fixed I still couldn't get the TV to work. The nice owner finally got it working. There was no blanket on the bed - just the sheet & bed spread. Even after running my diffuser for two days the room still smelled bad.

It was enough to drive me crazy
- Mateo (8/5): - Nice clean place with a very good fridge and very good AC would stay here again
- Tim (5/5): Passable -
- James (7/5): Good -
- Makayla (10/5): - I liked everything
- Thorcrom (8/5): - Not bad for the price, would stay again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Smells - Room smells like smoke and mildew. Hot water takes a few minutes to work. Towels old and ratty. Looks like some mold in parts of the bathroom. Bed isn’t bad but the pillows are terrible. For a one night stay it’s alright. The ease and convenience is nice.
- Scott (1/5): Bad - Nothing. The whole stay. Booking said pet friendly, it is not had to sneak my wife's service dog in . Remote didn't work, pictures of property on booking are not of this property.
- Brandon (8/5): Very good -
- Susanna (10/5): Restful and clean - Probably the cleanest motel l ever stayed at. Room was large. Lots of flat surfaces to put things on. Had a table. Peaceful and quiet. Good patking. Innkeeper was pleasant. Retro decor. Clear this motel is getting constant upgrades, one at a time.
- Partida (7/5): Good -
- Janice (8/5): - Quiet and quaint
- Kim (9/5): Superb -
- Gary (8/5): clean, comfortable, simple place to stay with few amenities but great value. - The room was very clean and comfortable. Hot water in shower, TV, and wifi all worked fine. Staff was very friendly. It was a good value. Convenient location by major highways and I-88. Few amenities, but quite adequate for me.
- Harry (9/5): served our needs -
- Rosemarie (7/5): Good -
- Katharine (10/5): Clean, quiet, and comfortable. - Centrally located to shopping and restaurants in Rock Falls. Even though it was on the main road it was still relatively quiet. I ended up staying two nights instead of just one. Reasonably priced and friendly staff as well. 10/10. Would absolutely stay again. Shower made funny noises while running the hot water. Other than that everything was good.
- Linda (8/5): - The ease in checking in.
We had no hot water.
- David (1/5): Bad -
- Virginia (5/5): confortable - all stores and restaurants nearby Got charged twice, was resolve a couple days later
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eric (5/5): Passable -
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- Pauline (8/5): - The owner is a very pleasant man and is willing to make sure your needs are met. The room was very clean and the decor was fine. I would recommend you give him a chance and for the price it was okay for my suitcases to have their vacation because we only slept there and gone in the morning to the event we were there for. I was a little shocked when I had told them in the comment section that I had 2 dogs with us. I do think that a 50.00 charge for 3 days was excessive. As I stated above we were there to sleep and when complied with their request in where to potty them. Our dogs are very well behaved and will not destory anything.and then to tell you the dogs can't be on the bed is unnecessary after the 50.00 charge.
- Sarah (10/5): - Very nice service. Simple, clean, economical. Pillows flat and only one thin blanket. But I highly recommend it. All the positives outweigh this
- Verified traveler (8/5): - No microwave..other than that everything was awesome
- Verified traveler (8/5): - clean and comfortable. NO hot water for our room
- mariannerU8847FS (2/5): Awful - Hotel is very very dirty an rundown. Was afraid to touch light switches so dirty.. Not even enough hot water to fill whirlpool. Bed like sleeping on concrete. Plenty of other hotels in area cheaper and nicer. Staff very rude when complained so left without even staying the night. So disappointed. Nothing like advertised.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Servicable at best - Our stay was fine and the room was clean but it was pretty sparse. Some updating appeared to have been done at one time, but not of a high quality. I'd stay else where next time
- Janet (8/5): - Hosts very gracious, easy to find, gave good info about area
- Antonio (10/5): - The room was very clean and comfortable. The service was excellent and the owners are very nice people. Would recomend this place to anyone.
- Peter (2/5): Warning - Bed Bugs! - Checked in to BED BUGS! Did not see them until a couple of hours after check in when we went to bed. The hotel told us we brought the bed bugs in with us as the room had been empty for 3 months! Of course we left the hotel at 10:00 PM and management would NOT give us a refund. Hotels.com talked to management and honored the policy that they would not give a refund after checking in! We will NEVER use Hotels.com again!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I gave it the rate I did because they at least had decent wifi. Other than that, it was a unpleasant stay. The queen room I initially reserved, was not available upon arrival so I was given a double. Both beds were oudated and unstable. If you sat on one side, the opposite side would lift up. I awoke by a heavy bearing on the door. After opening the door, I was basically yelled a question, if I were staying or checking out. After telling the rude short guy I would be checking out, I closed the door and started packing up. Not even 10 mins and there was more loud thimps on the door. Again stood the same moron maintenance/housemaid dude, asking the same question. I repeated my answer that nothing had changed and I would be checking out, repeating CHECKING OUT.
The only reason I didn't knock this troll looking dude out is how quickly RockFalls police dept is, and did not want an additional stay in the area. I only booked this lame motel because they were the only hotel that offered smoking rooms. Next time I will go elsewhere and enjoy my sm9king outside. Also worth mentioning is I awoke to having bites which welted up caused by bed bugs. I would post pic of my hip/leg area if I could. DO NOT STAY HERE.
- Knights (10/5): - I stayed local so I bought local. Staff was great. Very quiet room. Very clean and recently updated compared to my last visit.
- David (8/5): - Property is close to the Interstate, very easy to access, and it is close to fast food. It is a classic 1950's motel that has been updated and our room was very clean and well maintained.
- Wholehearted (8/5): - This is an older building but it they've worked hard to maintain and upgrade. Our room was very clean. Apartment size fridge and micro. Desk, dining table.
Owners very helpful and friendly!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Due to adverse weather approaching, did not stay overnite but left for home.
- Verified traveler (2/5): room a freezer - our room was an freezer when we arrived the room heater didn't have a thermostat so you couldn't regulate the heat management had to bring in a portable heater to heat the place mattresses were terrible wouldn't stay there again
- Diana (2/5): - I booked a room at All Seasons because the pictures on their website looked clean. Booked a superior suite with one queen bed and jacuzzi tub. We arrived at around 1230 am . Woke the clerk,he didnt pull anything up on computer instead ask me how many beds, one or two people, if i had a dog. Told him i booked thru Expedia. He then asked me what rate ,got my phone showed him the statement for room cost for two nights. Upon entering room saw it wasn't what i had booked, called front desk told him it was not what i booked. Told him it was supposed to be a superior suite and i had a picture of the room i booked sent from Expedia. He told me there was no way i booked a suite because they rented for almost twice what i paid. He told me he would open computer and call me back. When he finally called back he said i had booked one bed nonsmoking and i could come up to see. I told him i had an email from Expedia with a picture of the exact room i booked. He told me third party and anyone could post a picture. We decided to just stay since he apparently wasnt willing to check into it and wouldnt give a refund. Will never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.
- CountryGirl (8/5): - The room was clean and it was nice with the refrigerator and microwave. The bed was very comfortable. Missed having a coffee pot in the room, but Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robins is right next door. Would stay there again if we are in the area.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Room smell old smoke. No renovation done since the 50's. Everything is dark (floor, bedspread, furniture) and lighting is insufficient so we can't see anything is the room. Walls, bathroom, floor, sink counter, miror, etc, everything is dirty. And certainly not soundproof, I hardly slept because of the noise. And no hot water in the morning so no shower. Horrible experience.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Clean no frills motel - Basic no frills motel. Clean. Good check in experience. Bed was a little hard for my preference. I’d rather stay at a small clean motel like this than one of the similar priced budget chain motels.
- scottwF1881QO (10/5): Great stay - This is very affordable hotel. For the price it is a great value. The owners are very nice and accomodating. The hotel is older but clean and comfortable. Refridge and microwave. Great WiFi. Right across the street from Walmart. Flat screen TV with ALL the channels. Great experience.
- karencW7908UO (8/5): Clean, quiet, affordable - If you're looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable place to sleep, this mom-and-pop motel is it. All the basics: comfy bed with crisp linen, 32" tv w/cable, fridge, microwave, and blow dryer. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Easy to find, and plenty of food and drink places nearby.
One downside: the pillows were very flat
- Verified traveler (6/5): Close - Close to what we wanted to do, convenient location to family
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It's not to bad rooms could be better takin care of
- Danny (8/5): Decent - I had a good time in this motel. The comforter to the bed could definitely be replaced, you could tell it’s been used quite a lot of times. Other than that it was clean and I had no issues.
- mark (10/5): Inexpensive but good - Nothing fancy, but an affordable place to crash. Unremarkable, which is exactly what you want in an inexpensive hotel. Clean, functional & quiet. A good value.
- Christina (8/5): Great pet-friendly option for budget travelers - It's an older motel with a few signs of wear and tear, but I was satisfied with its cleanliness and safety. Was great to have a fridge in the room for my snacks. Staff was extremely friendly, and they welcomed my large dog. Good area for dog walking. Lots of restaurants and conveniences nearby. WalMart across the street! Plus it's right off the highway. If you're looking for a no-frills stop for you and your furry best friend, I definitely recommend All Seasons Motel.
- Knights drummer (10/5): Clean and quiet - This motel is family owned and operated. It's clear this is one of the older style motels one would have seen in small towns all across America. Rock Falls is a small community that that is slowly but surely bringing in more and more corporate related establishments. They have a handful of other nationally known motel/hotels in Rock Falls. The All-Seasons Motel is a classic "strip/ranch style" motel where you're able to pull your car into parking spots right outside your door. There's ample lighting and literally no place to park your car without being able to see it out your window. The motel has a number of food establishments within walking distance and even more closer to the city center. The property is back to back with Baskin Robbins/Dunkin Donuts and across the street from Wal-Mart. There are a handful of banks with exterior ATM's When it comes to food, Rock Falls has a number of restaurants that cater to most tastes. Right down the street from the All Seasons Motel is a place named The Candlelight Inn. There's actually two of them in the Rock Falls / Sterling area. They both boast a full menu for lunch and dinner and their prime rib is excellent. If you like fried chicken you must try Brenda's Chicken Coop. The chicken if fantastic but even more pleasing was their mash potatoes with real chicken gravy. If its breakfast you're looking for, the Red Apple Restaurant is within walking distance (one block) of the motel.
- Wendy (10/5): Simple and Clean - My family has stayed here a couple of times and have been pleased. We come to visit extended family and All Seasons covers our basic needs for a reasonable price with pleasant service; clean rooms, microwave and mini fridge are included.
- johnsL2244MM (10/5): Thumbs Up - Proprietors are good folks and for an older motel the All Seasons has some very, very nice and very clean rooms! Fairly reliable WiFi to boot. This motel can actually give the Super 8 down the street a run for its money in many ways. I give them a thumbs up. 👍
- AJ (10/5): Nice hotel - Clean. Easy. Let me check in early. The rooms were clean. Only thing is that my room didnt have a LED TV
- Donald L. (6/5): Additional costs added to the reservation - There was additional money required by the hotel for a city tax not mentioned in the reservation. I was not a happy contributor.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good price! - I didn't need any bells and whistles, or a high price. All I needed was a place to sleep, along with having a small refrigerator and microwave for the morning. This place fit that bill.
- michael C (8/5): - No frills. TV worked well. Beds were comfortable. Shower worked well. OK by me.
- Chris (6/5): Bland, but clean - No frills, clean room. Got a jacuzzi room, but it wasn't working.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good overnight stay - Great overnight for the price. Clean room. Coffee in the room would have been nice. No frills. Got the job done.
- Brad (4/5): Motel makes you pay more at check-in. - The room I reserved and paid for on-line is not the room they offered when I checked in. I reserved and paid for a 2 bedroom suite, however at check-in they gave me a room with one queen bed. When I asked for at least a room with 2 queen beds, I was told I would have to pay more for a room with 2 beds. They did not honor the price from Hotels.com.
TV didn't work and there were bugs inside the room.
- Jerry (8/5): - Nice place to stay
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room smelled. The tv had one channel.
- kowg (6/5): Clean and reasonable - Just looking for a cheap place to sleep? This is it. No frills but very clean and only $52. For some reason I got the jacuzzi room for no extra cost even though I had a reservation. No hint of past smoking in my smoke free room. Outside door (a real plus in my book) was a little dented but lock seemed sufficient. No shampoo or Kleenex, bed just so-so, but it was really clean and the price was only $52 total for one person, one bed. Nice bathroom, shower ok. Wall mounted flat screen TV but didn't turn it on so can't rate that. Very roomy with frig, microwave, table, end tables with lamps, dresser and sufficient plug ins. Ate at Culver's about a block away across the road. No sidewalks but walkable. A small Walmart over there as well.. A local restaurant too on same side of the road, wish I'd seen that first but Culver's was fine. A great find for reasonable accommodations when just passing through. Couldn't get over the cleanliness. In my many stays at cheap older motels I find that rare. Would definitely stay here again.
- Denise Marcacci (10/5): Memorial Day weekend - perfect
- Gregory (10/5): - The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable and it was very quiet. The family that runs it were very nice and courteous. Overall, a very pleasant stay
- TaylorP61 (6/5): One Night Stay October 2016 - Late Night Personable Clerk, All Motels around it were 90+ and I was Surprised to Find this at a Flat Rate of $45.00 for a Single/ Non Smoking, No frills. I would stay here again,.. and Would recommend to any Single Clean Traveler passing thru. All American Hospitality
- Neal (4/5): A bare bones motel. - No place to hang clothes accept on bathroom door....no hangers. No coffee machine in room and no iron. Office did not offer coffee or tea and no breakfast! This was a bare bones motel.
- robert (8/5): - very clean and quiet
- CLARA (6/5): great for the budget minded - a rather modest looking motel, but suited our brief stay very well.
- contentViroqua (8/5): Clean and economical - I like to support independent business. I like to keep my business cost fair 'cause my clients pay for my expenses. I was happy with the business rate offered to me by the kind gentleman at All Seasons Motel--less than any chain in town.
The room was spacious, clean and modern. I did take off the lamp shades for increased light, and the water had to run awhile to get hot. Other than that, no problems. Frig and microwave and internet worked without a glitch.
And since this time of year I prefer to exercise outside, I was delighted to discover the Hennepin Canal walking trail near the motel. It was fun exploring Rock City and Sterling. Hope work takes me there again.
- livyflyball (6/5): Stranded in Rock Falls - We were stranded in Rock Falls with vehicle problems. This was the only place in the entire town that would take pets without a ridiculous deposit or absurd pet fee - for that I am forever grateful. Rooms were large, carpet brand new, flatscreen tv, private entrances. The bathroom was quite old, but clean! The toilet leaked a little and it took a while for the water to get hot, however that was more than acceptable. Our truck was fixed the next morning and we were on our way. Thank you All Seasons for taking us in!
