- Jackie (3/5): - I liked the location and the complimentary breakfast. The rooms were nice as well. This is a place if you just want to rest your head. So on both days weren't to different island so it worked out that we were barely there. We moved to a different resort and the experience there was 10/10. The staff was not inviting of engaging at all. They checked us in and out but that was about it. We asked if we could leave our bags on the facility after checkout. They said yes and assured someone will be there with the luggage all day since they stored it behind the open front desk. My friend and I came back around 7pm . No one was at the front desk. If you're not going to be there with the luggage don't say you will. We couldve found a better alternative. I would not book here again personally. But again, if you just need a place to sleep. It is fine.

- Coral (8/5): Fantastic stay, we really enjoyed it. - The staff were great, especially the security guard downstairs. He was fun and very helpful. No hot water or plug in the kitchen, which made doing the dishes difficult. Some smaller pillows would have been good.

- Javed (8/5): Fantastic location and good value for money - Location was excellent. 1 min walk from the beach, many restaurants and bars in walking distance, large supermarket downstairs the hotel. Room was very spacious, bathroom was large, full kitchenette. All very clean. The rooftop area with hot tub and lounge area was very nice. Wifi did not work well - it seems like there was a limit on how many people could be on the network at once, because some of our group could connect and others could not, until someone disconnected their wifi. Our group had 6 rooms and stayed 3 nights. My room was only cleaned 1 of the days and 2 rooms were never cleaned and they had to ask for towels to be changed. The hot water had to be on in a few of the rooms for over 10 mins to actually get hot. We should have been advised of this at the start. The hotel made a mistake and charged my card for two rooms and could not refund it.

De plus tous les beverages et fruits ne sont pas inclus. Le café est payant. Super pour un petit déjeuner La nuit là la rue est très bruyante en raison des motos qui font volontairement du bruit de course.

Cependant, Il y avait dans les derniers étages de l’hôtel des chambres avec une bien plus belle vue, une petite piscine, un bain tourbillon, des chaises longues, des équipements d’exercice, mais on ne nous a pas informés de l’existence de ces choses lors de notre inscription à l’hôtel à notre arrivée. Dommage!! On a du faire changer nos oreillers qui avaient plutôt l’air de gros coussins de plus de 8 pouces de haut pour d’autres « oreillers » de 16po X 16 po et 4 pouces d’épais. Bizarre! Lots de notre réservation, on s’était informé s’il y avait un transport de l’hôtel au port pour prendre notre croisière le jeudi suivant. On nous a répondu que oui, il y avait un transport disponible et qu’en plus il était gratuit! La réceptionniste nous a plutôt dit que ce service n’existait pas et que l’on devait prendre un taxi au coût d’environ 35US$. J’ai écrit à booking.com en incluant l’e-mail qui nous confirmait notre transport gratuit. Je n’ai pas eu de réponse de booking.com mais l’hôtel a eu une note confirmant que nous n’avions pas de transport gratuit…. Allez voir les échanges entre nous et l’hôtel Commodore ainsi que Booking .com en relation avec la réservation # CS20008294834. Très décevant…. De plus nous avions pris une réservation avec déjeuner compris. On nous a remis en arrivant 4 coupons de 10$ valable à un buffet dans l’épicerie située au premier étage de l’hôtel. Un buffet absolument pas appétissant sans café. Totalement inacceptable (voir photos ci-dessous) au point où je leur ai remis leurs coupons au départ et leur ai demandé qu’on me rembourse le prix de ces coupons. - WAYLAND (4/5): Poorly Managed and Disappointing - The jacuzzis / pool. Having a fridge in the room to keep food fresh. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Good location in Simpson Bay near restaurants, shops, the beach, bus stop with regular services to the Airport / Philipsburg / Mullet Bay. Good access to the Aqua Mania tour boats at the nearby resort. The hotel changed my reservation by +1 day later, the day before I was due to arrive, causing a major panic and some very expensive phone calls. This took 15hrs for them to acknowledge and correct, after Booking dot com and Best Western became involved. Best Western required me to put down another $400 to get a booking in place to cover the missing arrival night, but as payment is on check-in this was not required after they fixed the mistake, and was not charged for. Rooms are only cleaned every other day, or daily as a special request - this is not a cheap property! My room wasn't cleaned on the second day either. On the third day, following a special request, the room was cleaned and towels changed, but the bed was left stripped and not remade and reception had to sort it out. Noisy bathroom extractor fan that can't be switched off. Leaking toilet cistern, that refilled itself throughout the first night, but the staff managed to fix this the next day. Safe didn't work as there were no batteries and they didn't fix this despite it being reported. Freezer box needed defrosting, and ice had to be scraped back to close the fridge door. They charge £11 ($15) for a buffet breakfast. This consists of a $10 voucher for the buffet in the supermarket downstairs. There is a very limited range of local food, no shelf pricing (by weight at the checkout, pay extra if you take too much) and no drinks at all are included. It is advertised starting at 7am, but some items like fruit only appeared at around 7.45am. Most people seem to pay for the Double Dutch Cafe - another concession in the same store - but that's nothing to do with the hotel breakfast offer. There isn't the advertised fitness room / fitness centre, but there are a few bodyweight machines outdoors by the pool. There is also no airport shuttle despite this being advertised.

My only problem was that the light from outside (the back of the hotel) was coming in from the top of the curtains. I cannot sleep in a bright room. Otherwise to that, the room was to my liking.

- Kristel (10/5): - I’d like to start this review by saying Ariel, the receptionist is amazing. Kind, welcoming and helpful. I booked my stay as a result of my flight cancellation. Hurricane Erin was within the vicinity and no flights were leaving. Commodore Suites is close to the airport, located above a well stocked grocery and all the popular restaurants. It is not a fancy hotel but provided what I needed in the circumstances.

La chambre est spacieuse et le personnel a nôtre disposition. Il y'a un agent de sécurité en permanence devant et les voitures son surveillée. Il vaut le détour.

- Kirkland (10/5): - The property location is excellent.. it's within walking distance to a majority of the areas night time hot spots, which is very convenient because parking is so hard to find if you are going to Nowhere Special, Lotus nightclub, or Captain Rib Shack to name a few in the vicinity. On-site parking is free. My studio suite was a great size. King bed was large enough to roll around twice without falling off. I had no ambitions of using the rooftop jacuzzi at first, but things change, caught myself smiling smoking cigars with the water bubbling up! The staff 100% authentic, no fake love. All smiles and offers recommendations and solutions. I decided to get a rental car when i arrived at my suite the first day. The manager on duty (Arella) went out he way called a few rental companies to get the best rate for my 8 day stay.. No hesitation, no "do it yourself" attitude, straight love! Shout out to World Boss Car Rental, great deal!! ( 8 days? Muah). Anyway, It doesn't hurt that the on-site supermarket downstairs offers buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner (i didnt have dinner, but breakfast is important!) So many other perks, but this getting too long-winded so i'm going to stop! 8 day stay felt like my first luxury apartment in NYC... I'm done!

- Farrah (8/5): - The property is very nice so is the staff. The room was clean and cozy. The kitchen was nice the only thing is that I wish the window opened. With a kitchen and someone that likes to cook and bake I would say they need a better ventilation system. All the smell of the food stays in the room and stays on your clothes, but other than that I would recommend staying here I give it a 8/10.

The room had a moody smell and windows are not opening, before the receptionist gave us the key she sprayed air freshener in a large quantity to mask the smell.
