Transportation is easy with the 12A bus getting into Central or returning from Admiralty. Great with basic cooking facilities and good that it has a supermarket and a household store nearby! Room is bright and clean but occasionally the toilet water tank makes a loud noise after flushing; still exists even after informing reception this issue. Restaurant Western food is of good quality and value. Should give special parking to in house guests as parking charges are extremely high!

- vivian (4/5): - It was a cold night when I came to HK and I thought I turned on the heat to 23c thru the control in the room, it turned out there was no heating and the front desk of the hotel did not tell me when I checked in. I woke up middle of the night feeling very cold and called front desk and found out there was no heating. Someone deliver a small heater later but I did not sleep well, almost caught a cold

We had a one-bedroom suite which was perfect for our five day stay. Breakfast is included each day, and the hotel has a 24 hour gym and laundry! We would stay here again.

- Zili (10/5): A fantastic hotel in the middle of everything. - The service was fantastic and hotel staff were extremely helpful, for example, they used their own Panda food delivery to order food when we didn't know how to use delivery services. Concierge staff went out of their way to help. This hotel is located in Central and in a very interesting and nice neighbourhood. It is next door to a bio zoo which is free to visit. It is close to everything, such as the Peak tram ride and the star ferry terminal. A large super market is just around the corner.

- Alissa (10/5): - I couldn’t recommend this property more highly. Great location just few minutes by taxi from Central with very quiet and nice rooms. The view was wonderful. Having a kitchen was so handy but the best thing about the property was the staff. They were incredibly helpful and efficient. I accidentally left something at reception when checking out and one of the very kind staff actually went for a walk to find me in the area where I said I was headed! The food in the cafe and staff there were also great. I would definitely stay there again on my next trip
- Paul (10/5): Memorable Stay - Enjoyed a great skyline view, with close proximity to a Fusion grocery store and a zoo/botanical gardens. A 12a bus stops within about 35 meters across a small street around every 15 minutes. This will take you to Admiralty MTR station within roughly 15 minutes. Sunny and Oscar at the reception desk both provided useful insights on urban travel.

They allowed us to check in early as the rooms were available and even helped us to store our luggage when we went to Macau for a night, checking out. The location is a li'l far away from the bustling city markets but they do have free shuttles that we used to get to the Central. Definitely recommended!
- frederick (8/5): - The property is located in mid-levels away from the busy central district. Downside is access to town is not so convenient (need to go by taxi or walk down, or via a limited shuttle bus service) and there are few shops and restaurants in the neighborhood, but I do like the botanic garden across the road and the jogging track on Bowen road. Property is very clean. We had a suite which is exceptionally large by HK standard. Breakfast is basic (no buffet) although they do offer a choice of a la carte options. There is happy hour in the evening and laundromat which we found helpful. Overall I would recommend this to travellers who are already familiar with HK and appreciate the quiter location and the more relaxed atmosphere.

- Ed (4/5): - Room was ok. Shower was pitiful. AC difficult to get right. Corridor was smelly. Lifts were slow. View was great. Breakfast was low quality and unsatisfying. Biggest gripe was with the ‘manager’ by the name of Wylie who told us that there were no cots available for my 1yr old and suggested she slept on the side of the bed. Very rude and unaccommodating. So a really poor start to the stay. The rest of the staff were polite but sadly this supposed manager let herself, her team and the hotel down. We won’t stay here again and would recommend others to broaden their search if they are considering staying here.

The location was beautiful and safe close to peak and botanical garden but it was a little bit of a trek from the nearest subway station but easier once you figure out the route up the midlevel escalator. Overall, can’t beat Two MacDonnell Road for comfort and value. Would most definitely stay again whilst visiting Hong Kong!

A good place to stay for a solo. Public buses in front. Taxis are plenty. Location is so convenient to Central. A good walk to the Botanical Garden.

- Melody (8/5): Great Quiet Hotel with View - The Garden hotel room was great - we used the kitchenette and ref a lot. The room was cleaned every day and we loved the nook/sitting area near the window. It did get a little chilly at night in our stays from April to May, even if we turned the airconditioning off. Breakfast was ok but limited options only and the same for all our nights spent there. Hoping next time there will be more options or changes with breakfast and wish there was a bidet in the toilet also. Staff was courteous and spoke English well, even the luggage counter downstairs and staff. They kept our luggage for 2 days until we returned from our short trip to stay with them again. The shuttle was a great convenience although I hope they would consider adding more times in the morning for people who wake up late or those who want to enjoy a longer breakfast. There's a big enough Fusion supermarket nearby and we tried a Sichuan restaurant Chuan Yue Lou which was also good. There's a 12A bus available around 1-2 mins walk, can get you to an MTR stop in Central. You can also get off the Admiralty stop of the Airport Bus to get to the 12A Tamar Stop. The hotel shuttle also stops at Hong Kong Station (IFC mall) so if you can time your flights and know where they pick up, it will be free for you. Overall, the hotel stay was nice. If we want a quieter and chill stay, we would still choose this. Didn't get to try their afternoon tea.

- Sinlan (8/5): - The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is a bit smaller than expected but the garden view is great. I would recommend the hotel to put air purifier in corridors and common areas since covid and flu are still rampant, and the hotel is very full.

- Shanola (8/5): - This was a perfect place to stay for our 16hr layover in Hong Kong. Close to some of the hot spots, so we got a lot in, in a short period of time. Everyone was friendly and it was a lovely stay. The spicy chicken in the restaurant was delicious!

- Chun Keung (8/5): - The Room is in a high clean standard. The only thing needs improvement is that it was quite humid despite the air con was on.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Feels like home - Spacious room and in good condition. There’s a supermarket nearby so really no fuss at all to prepare Valentine’s Day dinner. We enjoyed the stay so much. Only thing to complain is theres onlt two elevators and both are slow. So prepare for some waiting time.
- Hoi Wa (8/5): - We book a normal twin room but the actual room is very small, a great difference from the photos we saw in the hotel.com information. We called the front desk and she needs us to pay for HK400 more to change to another room. Another room is much more bigger a lot and we can cook for Halloween eve. I think the photo shown in the website can be more realistic to avoid misunderstanding. Overall service is good and front desk stuff is very helpful

- N A (10/5): Great customer service - Upon checking in, we discovered that a request for a room overlooking the City/ Garden had not been received. No idea why not received and I should have double checked before arriving. Anyhow, the hotel responded magnificently and we were offered another room without any fuss. Room was v comfortable and the hotel's location is perfect for taxis/ Peak tram and a stroll into Central (downhill of course) Tried the breakfast which was OK...easier though to get some provisions. In from the Fusion store nearby

- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel and the stafff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble for them even downloaded a map for us and wrote a message in Chinese for us to show to the bus driver in case he didn’t speak English. The bed was super comfy and the power shower hit the spot. Brilliant value for money.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I had another excellent stay at Two MacDonnell Road! I travel to Hong Kong often for both business and pleasure, and this is my go-to hotel. The location is perfect, it's very easy to find a taxi outside, the breakfast is delicious and has a variety of tasty options, and the rooms are chic and modern. The staff is very kind and friendly, and they even upgraded me to a suite on my most recent stay! The gym is clean and has everything you would need, and Hong Kong Park is within walking distance, a great place for a morning run! Will be back, for sure. Highly recommend!
- James (10/5): - Stayed here for 11 nights - lovely clean room with a very handy kitchenette. We had a lovely view overlooking the zoological garden. Although uphill, it was very easy to get to and from Central and using other bus routes. Stay included toiletries, towels, bottled water, slippers and a welcoming fruit bowl! Room cleaned daily and all staff very polite and welcoming. Would be happy to recommend and stay again :)
