But not only do they charge for a simple breakfast ( limited time) but they will charge you @ 6.00 USD for a cup of coffee that you have to wait for staff to bring you a cup. No biggie, just head out!

- Lindsay (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay here! The hotel staff were very kind, and the location was great for a lot of walking to historical monuments, gardens, bars, a restaurants. It is also close to a metro stop. Things you may want to note- It is a very basic hotel, with small rooms and a tight hallway into the room. You do not control the temperature in your room, they do offer to assist to make you comfortable but that was something new for us. They also hold your room key for you, it is an actual key, so that was different too. Lastly the walls are thin and since we didn’t control the air we slept with the windows open so it was loud. But you are in a city so it is typical.

I finally used my luggage on the rack to prop the door open to have easier access. The staffs were kind and friendly. A big point for me.

Cons: - The breakfast was limited (especially for those needing gluten free) and expensive so we eat at a Starbucks nearby. - They use regular physical keys for the rooms so they ask you to drop your key at the front desk when you leave. - We put the do not disturb sign on the door first day only to find housekeeping in our room when we returned! They said they knew we were gone as our room key was at the front desk. Apparently, do not disturb is not synonymous with No Housekeeping??

The room was super clean, the beds were comfy, and the continental breakfast (you can just buy it day by day) was totally worth it. Would happily stay here again!

The front desk staff helped us with amazing restaurant tips and metros and taxis. It was clean, comfortable, safe, and we would definitely stay again!

- mark (10/5): - After reading some negative reviews about the size of the rooms we found them completely adequate, tidy and clean. Rooms were cleaned every day and staff very helpful and friendly. We didn’t opt for the breakfast at the hotel as there were plenty of lovely options within 5 mins of the hotel. Great area for nightlife and dining out. Walking distance for a lot of the tourist spots, some further than others but there was also lots of buses, metro stations and taxis available to use to. Felt completely safe walking around at night and enjoyed the local restaurants and bars. There was also plenty of options for food and drinks ranging from your McDonald’s, Starbucks and mini supermarkets to Boulangeries, bars/cafe to more upscale restaurants. Would definitely recommend and stay at for future visits to Paris.

It's located close to multiple transit options and within walking distance of many main attractions (Notre Dame, Louvre, Luxembourg Gardens). There are many restaurants in the area and you can have some wine and a charcuterie/cheese board on a plaza just outside the hotel. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Well-Kept Property with a metal room key - We only had one night at this hotel. It was in good condition, nice staff, and within walking distance of a train line and pretty easy walking distance to the Seine and Louvre. The key is an old school key that you leave at the front desk when you leave and pick it up when you get back. We were worried that we might not be able to get in when we came in quite late, as the front door was locked, but when we rang someone did come and let us in and gave us our key.

The location is fantastic—within walking distance of many key attractions and very close to two metro stations, making it easy to get around the city. Staff was all friendly - I liked how you left your key with them when you left so there was never a worry about misplacing it. The area is so ideal, right near Luxembourg Gardens and so many wonderful cafes. Also a short walk to the Seine, Louvre and Notre Dame! Would certainly stay here again on our next trip to Paris!

- Christine (10/5): A Hotel to Keep on Our List - This was the second time we've stayed here, and if anything it was even better than we remembered it. It was the best of the three hotels we stayed in during our trip. We got a superior double room which gave us some extra space to manoeuvre without getting in each other's way. There was adequate hanging space and shelves for clothing and belongings. Beds were very comfortable. And the bathroom was positively gleaming; I was impressed by the overall cleanliness. Location is certainly a big factor. We love staying in the 6th arrondissement, close to the Luxembourg Gardens. We stopped a couple of times at the cafe just opposite the hotel, in front of the theatre. The room was quiet-- never any problem with noise from the street or cafe. We had breakfast one of our days there. Reasonably priced with various choices. We probably would have eaten there more often, except we have a favorite cafe for breakfast in the neighborhood.

(We don’t care about a big lobby or on site dining and fitness center, etc.). Extremely pleased with this stay, which was our first time in Paris for this couple and older teen. - Inna (10/5): - We had an excellent stay at this hotel - I would definitely stay again! It was out first time to Paris, booking with 0 prior experience. The main thing - if you are visiting in the summer months, it is hot and miserable in Paris. And the French for some reason do not believe in air conditioning. That is HUGE! Another plus is location - it's a 15-20 min walk to Louvre and Notre Dame. minutes to metro, bus stops, many restaurants, and shopping. Perfect location! The hotel is very safe. You have to leave your room key with staff when you leave and get it when you are back. they lock the doors at night, and there is always someone at the front desk. Staff are wonderful, so nice and helpful! The rooms are small, but it is expected in Europe. If you are looking for luxurious accommodations, this is not it. But if you are looking for an affordable place to stay while you explore Paris, I would highly recommend! LOVED IT and will stay there again if we come back.

This hotel is just one block from the Jardins de Luxembourg, a 5-minute walk to our favorite cafe and the Odeon Metro station, and a 10-minute walk into the Latin Quarter. We were greeted warmly from the front desk concierge. And when it became known that our reservation was for two nights, not the three we thought we booked, it was taken care of immediately. The front desk is manned 24/7 since you leave your room key whenever you go out. Our room was clean and roomy and our bed most comfortable. It made our stay in Paris even more enjoyable!

- Ashley (10/5): - This was the first time booking a hotel in Paris and let me tell you this hotel does not disappoint. When we walked into the room, it was smaller than expected. That didn’t matter as the room was very clean and very nice and better than we could’ve imagined. The sheets and the towels at the hotel are very nice, the bathroom is much larger than what is pictured online. The staff were so kind and so helpful when we had any questions. The location is wonderful and as walking distance to basically anything. The metro was only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Unfortunately, this hotel did not have a refrigerator, but at the end of the day that didn’t even matter because we were so happy about how nice our room was. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and if we were ever to make a trip back to Paris we would definitely stay here again!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely hotel, great location - Perfect location, well appointed rooms, very kind staff. My French is terrible and I appreciated that the front desk folks spoke excellent English and had good suggestions for local restaurants. This hotel was better than I even expected.
- Ann (10/5): - The location of Hotel Michelete Odéon is so near Jardin du Luxembourg and restaurants and shopping as well as saint Sulplice! It’s a gem. Julie at the front desk is wonderful and accommodating. My room was super clean. I highly recommend staying here!
- Heather (4/5): - when checking in we were told that we had to drop off our key at the front desk if we went out. I did not do this. the bathroom is split into 2 parts with one party having a toilet and the other having a sink and shower. no way to get from one to the other without touching 2 doorhandles. the room had no design or decor.

- Stuart (10/5): Great location !! - We have stayed at the Michelet Odeon several times in the last few years. It’s in a great neighborhood with interesting small retail stores and a block from the Luxembourg gardens. The staff is always very helpful and the rooms are comfortable.
- Kely (10/5): - Lovely small hotel with clean and very comfortable rooms. Nice and quiet location with friendly staff. Stayed in a family room with our 14 year old daughter but could have easily accommodated two children. Good price.

- Joy (8/5): - Located in a lovely and convenient area of Paris. Staff were abrupt, offering no assistance with doors, baggage or option for dining, transportation or sights.
- Mark (8/5): - The hotel is nicely located in a very quiet location, we hardly noticed any noise from outside. It's very walkable to major attractions (15-min walks to Louvre or to Notre Dame) as well as numerous restaurants. The hotel staff and room cleanliness were excellent, and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, there was not enough noise insulation inside the hotel, the walls are so thin you can hear everything, including people using the bathrooms. The room doors also need better cushioning when being closed - there was a bang and our room shook every time someone closed their door. This is especially bad when you have inconsiderate neighbours (like we did). That aside, we thoroughly enjoyed the quality of our stay at this hotel.
- Seet Wai (10/5): - If your room is on the 5th floor, you will have to drag your luggage for half a floor of stairs before reaching the elevator. Upon reaching the 4th floor using the elevator, you have to drag another one-and-half floor of stairs before reaching your 5th floor room. So, bringing big luggage would be cumbersome. Front desk staffs do not appear to be friendly especially the morning person when we are checking out. He appears to be reluctant in doing his job and response only when asked. However, the hotel room is spacious for a big city like Paris. Property looks clean and tidy.
- William Michael (10/5): - The Hotel was very close to many cafes and restaurants and also to the metro. The staff were very helpful when we needed extras like booking taxis etc. If we were going back, would definately stay here again
