Christiane (8/5): - Sehr gute Lage, freundliches aber gemütliches Personal beim Frühstück. Schönes grosses Zimmer. Für 7 Tage perfekt für eine Person. Das Bad war zu klein, warmes Wasser kam mit sehr wenig Druck erst nach sehr langer Wartezeit in der Dusche. Leider wurde nicht jeden Tag das benutzte Geschirr (Gläser, Kaffeetasse) gereinigt.

Alison (10/5): A lovely place to stay in the heart of Wolfville. - Historic, lovely staff and great restaurant on site.
Ousama (7/5): The INN itself has a good reputation, but it requires some small touches to meet variant needs. - I didn't have the chance to have in house breakfast the window starts too late for someone who have to be at work by 7a.m. however, the staff used to bring me my breakfast in the evening before to take away, but they forgot one day. fortunately last breakfast I had the chance to try it in house, it was very good. My wife and I had a dinner one day at the restaurant, we were displaced from the table that we had chosen to another one, the lady there told us that it was set for breakfast, but surprisingly enough someone else came later and sat on that table. That was very upsetting and not understandable. we think that it was way better if the woman who moved us from that table had come to us and explain why was that. She should've done that. On the other hand, TV is not working well we couldn't mirror our phones on it and it was useless, It must be smart TV Lastly, the room was poorly lit and not comfortable for someone who is there for work. Besides, no table was there to put the laptop on it and to do some paperwork which I needed to accomplish every evening.

Young (9/5): The Tattingstone is cozy yet contemporary and super easy to work with. - Our overall experience was great. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was cozy and comfortable. he bed was very comfortable and I loved that we could make tea and coffee in our room. Rarely is there milk in the room for tea, but the Tattingstone did provide milk and I really appreciated that. Breakfast was lovely - get the benny!

We had dinner at the Tattingstone, and wow--food was absolutely fantastic. We were again delighted with our breakfast. Lovely staff, and a great location with an easy stroll into downtown Wolfville. Great attention to detail with comforts in the room--small refrigerator, glasses, etc. Bathroom could use some more shelves to hold toiletries.

Kathryn (10/5): An absolute delight! - The rooms were lovely! They accommodated my mobility challenged nephew, by putting him in a room on ground level (can’t do stairs). The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful! The grounds are so beautifully maintained! It was just a delight all round Absolutely nothing! Bouvet (7/5): - The main historic home is very charming and we enjoyed the lounge in the evening. The restaurant is very elegant and the breakfast was delicious. Room 8 in the carriage house needs repair before it is rented out. It clearly has water issues with inadequate repairs and we could smell a moldy scent. We only stayed one night, but would have asked to switch rooms if we had booked for longer.

Christine (10/5): Birthday trip with friends - Everything, beautiful property, great staff, friendly and efficient..the rooms were large,comfortable and sparkly clean. The outside seating was lovely too. Plenty of on-site parking. Great location, Breakfast was excellent in a beautiful dining room. I Would definitely recommend. Nothing, apart from having to leave, wish we had stayed longer.

Sabean (7/5): For Tourists who are looking for a Nova Scotia Vibe, not a wedding the area. - I like the refurbished classic vibe, we had a room in the main house so it had high ceilings. Walking distance from the downtown area, 12$ cab to nearby wineries so no need to drive anywhere Lots of parking on site. Good breakfast Value: Remember to book a reservation with front desk. When booking a year ago, we asked for our bridal party to be close to each other. We had last minute things to do and we didn’t want to disturb other guests with our excitement. Instead we were placed in three different buildings. The furniture… the table holding the fridge looked like it would fall over at night. It stained the carpet below. I looked under the bed for an earring and I noticed our bed was held up with a cinder block and big books. DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON UPGRADING TO A ROOM WITH A TUB. Unless you are very small or are travelling with kids. The tub was wayyy too small for my fiancé, and he looked forward to relaxing in it before the wedding. I rather a bigger shower than a tiny tub. Little thing: no shampoo in room, had to ask which was really frustrating as I was a bridesmaid so I need to shower before the morning. Happy I noticed before 9 because the lobby staff leave site.

Die Lage des Hotels war gut und es hatte charme Es ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und Zimmer, bzw. Bad könnte renoviert werden. Waschbecken hatte große Risse…Extrem unangenehm und richtig laut war die Lüftung im Bad. Nachts hörte man ebenfalls die Lüftung im Bad der anderen Bäder extrem. Sehr störend

Beverly (7/5): It was a pricey disappointment. - We loved the old world charm and how well appointed it was. We felt the room was in need of updating. Carpets were stained and dirty looking. We had dinner at the resturant on the property and were disappointed, it was just ok, nothing spectacular for the price we paid. Our biggest disappointment was for the picnic lunch we had ordered on line was not prepared, the kitchen staff had forgotten to prepare it.

Linda (9/5): A relaxing 2 days in beautiful Wolfville - thank you, Tattingstone! - The included breakfast was really good, I considered it gourmet food made to order! I had the Tattingstone Benny both mornings and I was happy with the portion - just the right amount of food for breakfast. The use of potato pancakes rather than English muffins is ingenious! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. You could tell they have been trained to do whatever can possibly be done for the guests rather than sticking to a list of rules. We had the Charcuterie board with glasses of Tidal Bay wine on the patio in the evening - it was superb and a perfect end to our day! Ella, our server, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The decor and cleanliness were excellent! A lovely bed and an updated bathroom made our stay very comfortable. Just one small glitch in our stay - We are both seniors with some mobility issues and I had asked for ground floor accommodation when I made the reservation in March. There are no elevators to transfer luggage to the upper floors so I would suggest a service to handle the luggage would be a nice touch if my request could not be met or I should have been made aware beforehand that there were no ground floor rooms available.

We also walked The Dykelands which was conveniently close and went to the Saturday Farm Market. The breakfast was delicious and we shared a charcuterie board one evening that was beautiful and tasty. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. An easy drive to wineries, Scots Bay, and so much more.

Thank you. - Well what can we say except it was wonderful from check in to check out and all places in between. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room beautiful and comfortable and thank you for 2 chairs as often hotels and bnbs only have one. Hence no one had to sit on the bed when we had tea. The happy hour and outdoors were great. Loved the chance to meet and talk to other travellers. Breakfast was fabulous.

We needed assistance with our cases from and to the car and the receptionists helped us promptly and with a smile. The breakfasts were excellent, with table service which is unusual nowadays. We were in the main house, which was full of character, but the decoration in the common areas up to the room and in the room itself was rather “tired”.

Sean (6/5): Beautiful Inn - without a bike - Mixed feelings about the Inn. On one hand, my "room" - Toad hall, was like a miniature carriage house, with tons of character and a neat downstairs/upstairs layout. The main Inn was beautiful as well and convenient to town. Breakfast was fine and fast in the morning. On the other hand, I had three different people tell me not to put my bike (traveling by bicycle) in the room during check-in. This after I had already both emailed them and verbally confirmed at check-in that they had a place for me to keep my bike while I was there, so I was obviously not planning to bring the bike into my room. I was shown a place to put it (a kitchen storage room) which worked, but later charged an extra $10 for this without being told there'd be a charge and never being charged any other place I stayed over two weeks. This soured my stay slightly, giving me an overall negative opinion of the establishment, unfortunately

David (4/5): Disappointing given the price of the stay - The breakfast was excellent and thoughtfully served by staff. The building is lovely and the public rooms well appointed. Our room was very disappointing. The basin in the bathroom was cracked and chipped, the shower surround was rusty and lots of the tile joints were grey and appeared not well cleaned. The bottom corner on one side of the bed was propped up by a pile of books. Despite raising these points with the management I was not offered a partial refund.

Elaine (9/5): Beautiful inn with friendly staff and an excellent breakfast - Wonderful greeting from the friendly receptionist who carried our case and showed us to our room. Spacious room, tea and coffee available and plenty of power points. Breakfast was excellent, again served by friendly and efficient staff. very attractive dining room. There's very little to say other than the fact the bathroom was looking a little tired and needed repainting. One thing to note is that our four poster bed was very high (a little set of steps were provided) so it's worth checking if that may be a problem. It could just have been our room.
