• JEAN (6/5): I enjoyed my visit to Porto and would stay again at OX Apts if the noted problems are fully solved. - The room was near my friend's apartment so we could easily make plans. There was also good access for traveling by foot, bus, metro, rideshare and train. The manager was responsive to the issues mentioned below. In spite of that, she was unable to get the door fixed during my stay, and the solution to the A/C problem was just to not use it. 1. The front door was not secure so I ended up dealing with a scammer who tried to convince me I hadn't yet paid for my stay. 2. The air conditioning unit was faulty and kept me awake for more than 3 hours one night with banging.

La zona ajardinada estaba dividida en dos, una zona para el bajo y otra para el primero. La del bajo que e fue donde nos alojamos estaba súper descuidada, todo lo contrario que la del primero.

Транспортная доступность: до остановки автобуса 100 м, на автобусе до вокзала Кампанья 7 минут. До многих достопримечательностей центра города недолго дойти пешком. Очень тепло, мы выключили электрические обогреватели Всё понравилось!

• Paulina (10/5): Absolutely perfect - The apartament was really excellent - clean, cozy and well equipped. No issue to enter the flat using provided codes. Contact with owners also great. The bed was better than in 5 star hotel - I swear I don’t remember last time I slept so well. The towels and bedding were super fresh and smelled amazing. I’m so happy I chose this place. If I ever be in Porto again, for sure I’ll come back! -

The bed was wonderfully firm with amazing linens. The linens were really nice in the bed. It was bright and had good light. Great couch and easy access on 1st floor. Bedside lamps, nice table/chair. It was a great layout with the bed separated from sitting and kitchen area. Stove/oven/dishwasher. Good storage. Shower had both a handheld wand and shower head- both worked well with good pressure and enough hot water for two fast showers. I could have used instructions on how to use stove/oven. Finally figured out oven but never got stove to work. No place to put toiletries inside shower but not a big deal.
• Gayoung (10/5): 창문에서 바라보는 풍경이 예뻐요 - 창가에서 바라보는 풍경이 좋습니다. 큰 창 때문에 이 숙소를 선택했는데 만족했어요. 침구가 좋고 있을것은 다 있습니다. 근처에 큰 마트, 맛있는 커피숍이 있고 캄파냥역까지 도보25분, 동루이스다리까지 도보 15-20분정도입니다. 다 걸어다닐만했어요. 집 앞에 공원이 있어서 휴식하기도 좋았습니다. 전신거울이 있으면 좋을것 같아요!

It's on the second floor, facing the street and if you sleep on the sofa, it's a bit noisy (bring earplugs). It's not in the center, but not far from it. There's a supermarket and a few nice restaurants about 5 minutes away. Gabriela responds quickly in case you have any questions.

• Marc (9/5): Wonder apartment, would definitely stay there if return to Porto - The location is great for Porto if you want to get a real feel for city and it's residents. A great park is a two minute walk from the front door. Fantastic selection of places to eat or grab a cup of coffee. The apartment has a full kitchen and there are food stores within a 15 minute walk. The majority of historic sites are within a mile or so radius. A must do: Take a full day tour of the wineries a two hour drive from the city. As to the apartment, bed was great. Apartment was clean. Not much to not like. Just a warning that walking around the city will mean you should be in decent shape as the city is built on some steep hills. There is public transportation. While we were there the city was in a major rebuilding of the tram system so some areas were dug up.

Zo fijn dat ons hondje ook welkom was. Het licht in de gang ging snel uit en de ingang deur was wat zwaar, maar ach dat zijn kleine details.

• Hughes (9/5): Charming apartment in a great location - The location of the apartment was excellent! So close to great places to eat, and we loved that there were tall trees outside the windows. The floor-to-ceiling windows and little balcony were probably our favorite feature of the apartment. The layout used the space of the apartment very well. It'd be nice to have a little shelf of hanging basket in the shower for our shower products. It also got a little hot some nights. The apartment was very quiet at night with the windows and shutters closed, but it was a bit too noisy on the street to keep them open at night to let cool air in. A taller fan or little cooling unit would be a nice addition!

I arrived on Sunday and the road was closed for traffic so that kids could play in the street and the cafés could place tables outside for people to sit in - this was a wonderful heartwarming surprise. Check in and check out were simple and the host was impeccable. The apartment was clean, simply but well decorated, very comfortable to spend a few days (or weeks) in. Only one thing: could use another movement sensor on the stairs between floors to activate lighting. When arriving alone at night, even though the building felt safe, the light would turn off in while I was between floors.

• Noelene (10/5): Lovely apartment in a good vicinity - This large apartment is in a leafy part of the city, 15 min walk from most attractions. It has a bus stop close by that goes to the bus station and is a 10 min walk to Bolhao metro station. A supermarket and coffee shops are nearby. There is a lovely square with restaurants and bars 5 mins walk away. The apartment itself has high ceilings and ornate fixtures, giving it some charm. The bed/pillows were extremely comfortable. It has good bathroom facilities with a strong shower and a neat kitchen with an ample supply of utensil’s. I would highly recommend this apartment. Gabriela was a wonderful host and responded quickly to our enquiries. Nothing

• Isabel (8/5): Schöne Unterkunft für ein paar Tage - Sehr gemütliche Unterkunft, super zentral, dennoch ruhig gelegen, super Kommunikation Leider roch es muffig und schimmelig und Alles war grundsätzlich etwas klamm und feucht. Das Zimmer mit Garten liegt im Erdgeschoss und erinnert von innen an ein Gewölbe, da ein Teil der Wände aus Stein ist. Dennoch haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Bett war super bequem und der Garten etwas verwildert aber das war irgendwie auch charmant

Openbaar vervoer, supermarkt, restaurantjes waren allemaal dicht bij. Bed lag goed en rest van het appartement was goed ingericht, inclusief een volledige keuken met inventaris. Ligt aan een grote mooie straat, maar in het appartement hoor je hier niks van. De badkamer was niet heel groot, maar ruim genoeg en wel schoon.

We waren hier niet van op de hoogte. Hoewel je zag dat ze hun best deden om alles proper te maken, zouden we dit niet geboekt hebben, aangezien dit zeer storend was.

There was mould all along the windows of the room i was in and this is not healthy. I didnt complain then cos I know tt it was something they could not respond to immediately. But accomodations with mouldy windows should not be accepted by Booking.com!

• Bernabé Valero (8/5): Práctico y bien ubicado - Había servicios mínimos como papel higiénico para todos los días, lavavajillas a mano y pastillas para el lavavajillas, bolsa de basura, azúcar, café. Son detalles que ayudan a no tener que comprar todo desde 0. La cama arriba de la cocina y baño, un poco incómoda, casi no hay espacio para dejar los bultos de cada persona. Fuimos 2, pero si hubiéramos sido 4, casi no hay armarios ni espacio para dejar las cosas.

• Robert (9/5): Tolles Appartment um Porto zu erkunden - Nette Unterkunft, das interessante Appartment Layout hat unseren Kindern sofort gefallen mit dem Hochbett und war für uns sehr praktisch. Vorteilhaft war auch die Nähe zu einem Platz mit vielen Restaurants sowie eine tolle Frühstück-Location in der Straße 50 m nach rechts Altstadt und Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar keine internationale oder deutsche Sender im TV (wie allg. üblich)
• Gomes (5/5): Decent - Location. The bathroom facilities are not the greatest. Stairs to go to the toilet are messed up and can be a hazard. Not what we expected in layout when we saw the pictures. Lots of humidity in the room makes the clothes smell awful. There is a constant noise coming from the upper level that did not let us rest during the night. Very disruptive. Sounded like a machine constantly banging for a few seconds, stopping and then at it again.

• Kateryna (8/5): Good place to discover Porto - First of all, I would like to note the excellent service. Everything was organized at the highest level and during our four nights we had some problems with the air conditioning, which were solved by the service team almost immediately. I really liked that the apartments are in the city center, but in peace and quiet. It is a block and a half to the very center with bars and restaurants. The room is a converted part of an old mansion. The room has a small garden with armchairs and a sofa, completely closed, where you can have breakfast in the morning and drink wine in the evening in peace and fresh air. Excellent bed with a modern mattress and 4 pillows. Kitchen is well equipped. Definitely worth the money. You should be prepared for the fact that you have to take a shower in a closet and the toilet is in a small underground crypt with three steps, which is not very convenient at night.I missed some quality glassware and some good wine glasses would definitely be helpful for relaxing with Portuguese wine.

Räumlichkeiten super gekühlt, trotz 32 Grad Außentemperatur. Interieur teilweise abgewohnt und durch Feuchtigkeit aufgequollen. Außenbereich nicht gepflegt und nicht einladend. Überall Hundehaare von dem Tier der Mieterin eine Etage höher.

Would not recommend. - Fairly well-equipped kitchen (although not very functional, no power outlets near the electrical appliances). Location: Street is far too noisy, cars drive just 5 meters from the windows. Constant honking at the beginning and end of day. Very poor soundproofing (no double glazing). Allegedly located in the city center, but there’s nothing within a 10-minute walk, you have to walk quite a bit to find any sign of life. Don’t blindly trust the location rating,check on Maps instead.Very disappointed (and the price is completely unjustified as a result). Cleanliness: White stains on the floor when we arrived, looked like cigarette ash spread all over the living room. Not a confidence-inspiring first impression. The bathroom also left much to be desired (I’ll skip the details about the toilet with a black bottom? Eroded by limescale or worse…). The sink and shower had only been superficially cleaned (black marks and leftover hairs). Comfort: Because of the constant noise from the avenue right below the windows and the fact that there were no shutters or curtains at all. Get ready to drink your coffee while half of Porto watches you through the window. Value for money: Before the stay, we thought it was good. Now, we don’t understand how a place like this can command such prices. These apartments are run like cash machines (you won’t see anyone in person), and if something goes wrong, don’t count on the provided phone number,it’s a WhatsApp bot. After 2 hours, we finally reached someone. Because the front door can lock from the outside even if the key is still in the lock on the inside (according to the person we reached, “all the doors are like that here.” Spoiler: They’re not). So we had to call a locksmith (who seemed oddly familiar with the place) and pay €50 out of pocket for a door with a completely outdated locking system for a with a completely outdated locking system for a rental property. None of this was mentioned in the listing or in the pre-stay emails.
