• Mariana (10/5): - O hotel foi um achado, muito bem localizado no centro de Ushuaia, o valor da diária muito justo. Quartos amplos e limpos, chuveiro e calefação excelentes. Recepcionista e demais colaboradores muito simpáticos. Café da manhã bom, com pão, medialuna, requeijão e doce. Alguns bolos e biscoitos doces, cereal, iogurte e salada de frutas. Não tem opção de ovos, como a maioria dos hotéis que passamos na Argentina. No mais, excelente experiência.

Cuando se llama para preguntar sobre el asunto la única respuesta recibida era que estaban trabajando el asunto y q pronto se resolvería. Pasaron más de 10 horas y nunca se recibió ayuda o un plan b para saber qué hacer. Al día siguiente no hubo agua caliente. Solo recibimos la ayuda de la persona q estaba en el front desk cuando fuimos a quejarnos. Éste nos llevó a una habitación que tenía agua caliente en el quinto piso y nos permitió asearnos allí. Mucho alboroto al lado del hotel hasta tarde en la noche, impide descansar en su totalidad.

• Roberto (8/5): Buen lugar para hospedarse en Ushuaia - Fue buen lugar para hospedarnos. Cerca de la avenida principal. Tomando en cuenta que somos mexicanos, el desayuno estuvo muy muy simple, nada de proteína (solo queso y jamón, pero ni huevo había), casi nada de fruta, eso sí, mucho pan. La habitación pequeña pero bien, funcional y con bonita vista. El personal amable en general, un agradecimiento especial al recepcionista Alejo, que nos ayudó muchísimo con recomendaciones, nos consiguió tours, bicicleta, incluso en horas difíciles, y siempre súper buena onda, gran sujeto. El check in fue súper rápido y el check out también, lo malo es que es a las 10 am, lo bueno, que cuidan tu equipaje sin costo adicional después del check out. El wifi bien. En general es buen lugar para ir y estar fuera todo el día, solo regresar a descansar.

La atención fue estupenda, dese el primer día hasta el último el personal estuvo muy bien predispuesto. La habitación es amplia y cómoda con una calefacción excelente al igual que la ducha. El desayunador en el cuarto piso tiene una vista fantástica y el desayuno muy bueno. Conclusión: un hotel muy recomendable!

The amenities are very poor, the facilities are in poor shape and the staff made up an entire story about us breaking a piece of the blackout window, which was already broken when we arrived and came loose from the window the minute we tried closing it. Then they proceeded to corner me at check out and left me no choice but to pay them in cash for the "damage". Would not recommend staying here, plenty of other options. These guys are just looking for how to steal a few bucks from you.

I believe from talking to the staff that the issues I found are mostly caused by the owners being capricious for example their kitchen closes at 22:30 and the owners will not let you get outside food. While that it’s in itself not terrible it’s not uncommon to come back from skiing super tired and take a nap that becomes a long nap and when you wake up you are forced to go out in the cold instead of ordering delivery food.

Only downside is that although it is only 300 metre from the port it is up a couple of short but steep hills and therefore is a difficult walk with luggage. One good facility is a comfortable basement lounge to wait in after checkout.

Bathroom is very nice and clean, but the bedding looks warmed and unattractive. They were very accommodating. I booked a queen size bed and I got two twin beds. When I asked for a change of room to a queen bed, they have the maid cam to make my two twins into a king. I was quite happy with that. Breakfast was very simple, not many choices but the room has a pamaramic view of the canal an mountains. It is so convienly located. It is only 3 blocks away from the harbor where most tourists come for the canal rides. The Main Street with great shops and restaurants are just one block away. Love it! I will definitely RE momma day this place if a person does not expect Ritz Calrlton or Hilton. I am a realistic person. I don’t have to call for a text to get to the harbor for a while-day adventure or take a texi to go out for dinner. Love it!

• Diane (8/5): Good value. - Lovely new hotel just a few minutes walk up the hill from port, bus station and Main Street. Reception very welcoming. We had to leave on bus at 5am to Punta Arenas. We were given a packed sandwich water and apple for our trip. Much appreciated. Good breakfast and room with great view. The only drawback was you could hear people talking or showering in the next rooms.

Laundry is ridicolously expensive,i Paid 1750 argentinian money(around $90 american)to wash 2 Shirts ,2 shorts,3 T shirt ,4 socks. I travel a lot and i never paid that much ,not even to 5 stars luxury hotel. To top that, there was not a price itemized list of the laudry. Usualy there is always one next to the plastic bag where ever you go. The price should have been a third of what i paid considering the poor condition of the Hotel. My suggestion to the management,you can charge what ever you want but a least let the costumers know the price.Not cool.

• Bevan (2/5): Give this hotel a miss. - The room (108) was noisy (next to the lifts), small, had no view, and could be overlooked. The whole hotel was noisy as there was no carpet anywhere and the walls seemed to be built of cardboard. The bed was average, but the pillow was very uncomfortable (I had to use my down jacket instead). Breakfast was abysmal. The hotel is a steep walk uphill from the main drag. There was only a sheet on the bed, and no extra bedding in the cupboard.
• sillyboy (4/5): a overpriced hotel in Ushuaia - generally hotels in Argentina are very basic, uncomfortable and overpriced. this one is worst: dirty carpet, bad smell, most unworthy money. The list can go long. The most horrible thing was old type heating - no temperature control. either too hot or too cold. it is very difficult to go sleep.
• Peter (8/5): Good hotel, but .... - MIL810 is a good hotel in a great location. The staff were very good in general and Hulio was fantastic. The hotel itself is a hotel. Nothing more or nothing less. The breakfast was good quality, but had limited choiced and did not change during my four day stay. I doubt if I would book myself in to stay again. If someone else booked this hotel for me I would be satisfied, but not excited. MIL810, solid hotel that does nothing exceptionally, and nothing bad.

We can sit beside on windows and look out for harbor landscape when you have breakfast every morning, surely, that deserved for be memoried. You know, the view will be ironed on your mind forever. So great experience, just a little pity, room seems to be a bit small and car park direction.anyway, we still would like to recommend it for others.
• Mark (4/5): Not Recomended - I booked this hotel because of it's location. Pretty close to the port of Usuaia, from where all the tours/excursions starts. Next to the main street where all the shops and casinos are there. From the street (25 De Mayo) the hotel entrance is about 7 to 8 steps without any slope for large trolleys. And the hotel guys didn't appoint anyone to help the guests, they did open the door and watched our struggles with the bags. And I found it later, they do this with all the guests. Check in process was standard. The stuffs at front desk were OK to talk to. Room is more or less clean and organized. But little congested (small area) compared to average hotels I stayed in Argentina. Bathroom is OK as first look. Found the towels are old and torn. How hard it is to provide good towels to the guests? gosh ! Coming to bed, there were 2 bed sheets, nicely made the bed. But there were no blanket, really? ( I searched the closet, if there is hiding one, but no) In a place like Ushuaia, the hotel hasn't provided any blanket to the room. Unbelievable. Complained about it the next morning. And they provided a blanket. Breakfast was OK. Mostly Sugar, if I want to have sugar less breakfast, they I'll end up with just black coffee. Overall, I felt that I could not recommend this hotel to anyone.
