• Owethu (4/5): Lukewarm - Replenishing of shower gel’s everyday is important ,I used mint once and the following morning there was nothing .The huge ste ornaments are making it difficult for us to park The receptions lady needs to more training ,lacking customer service skills .There was a mismatch about my booking.The experience made me so uncomfortable like I ddnt pay for my stay.Teach her to take the bookers and do follow ups on her own whether the booking was through booking .con amd Agoda.After she receives the whole info for he to get back to the booker and explain the payment is reflecting

• Luz Marina T (4/5): Nada recomendable - Ubicación. Coche en la puerta. Toallas agujereadas. Alfombras muy sucias. Mal olor en el baño. Habitación minúscula, cama incómoda. Nada parecido a las fotos de Booking.
• Monica (8/5): A very pleasant stay supported by a great team. - The room was clean and well appointed and the team running the guesthouse were efficient, friendly and accessible. A very generous breakfast was offered and solar power ensured a very pleasant stay regardless of any outages. The location is slightly outside of central Mthatha .

• Shaheen Ismail (6/5): - Hi i think this guest hose should have a 1 or 2 star rating. The reason is the hand was torn and the towels where hard. There was no water in the morning to shower. The chair in the room when you sit on it you sink into it.

• Deon (8/5): Superb stay - Great service, warm hospitality - the host was courteous and accommodating. They got the basics rights with classy artworks, great floor tiles, beautiful curtains & clean linen. The Aircon was a life-saver. Showers were pleasant. Absolutely quiet without other guests - peaceful. Did request mosquito repellants whilst booking - was not really an issue though, I always carry my own. Window frames & latches need attention.

• Ayanda (1/5): It was a bad, terrifying experience, we had to sleep in the car because no one was available to open - The water was nice and hot, which helped us relax after a long terrible experience I communicated with the guest house about my arrival time, even before I booked, I called the guest house to ensure that there will be someone to receive us when we get there. Upon arrival all phones where switched off, intercom not working due to load shedding and we couldn't get hold of anyone to help us and we ended up sleeping in the car in a place we are not familiar with and putting our lives in danger. We called the owner to inform him about the challenges we were having but he also did not help much instead he told us to go and book at expensive hotels. The owner didn't even call us the following day to find out if we were safe, nothing whatsoever. We than went to the guest house the following morning since we had booked for two nights just so that we can at least shower since we had to sleep in the car, to be received by a lady that told us that even if she was awake at the time we got there she was still not going to open for us cause that area is unsafe and she was not going to put her life in danger. She was not ready for us, had not bath and was not professional at all, Told us it was the responsibility for her colleague,who was not present at the venue, to attend to us. We then showered, left our bags,went to my sisters funeral. When we came back to sleep we found that the bedding was dirty and we had to call reception to come and change our bedding, clean bedding was brought but it was torn, at that time i was just to exhausted to even complain (at least I was now sleeping on clean bedding) and we just slept cause we had to prepare for a long drive the next morning. We had to leave the key under a pot plant cause there would be no one to receive when we leave at 6am. This was the worst experience and its sad how the owners don't care much about their customers. I am just happy we were able to attend my sisters funeral and are now back home safe

• Sandile (10/5): Perfect place to be. - The host is caring and attends to the patrons needs without delay. The tranquility of the place makes you feel comfortable being there. The room has all the amenities, except for soap. Excellent choice in deed 👌. Breakfast menu needs to be varied to accommodate those who do not eat red meat and pork.

• Sinono85 (7/5): The place is nice and in a quiet area. - On arrival, the gentleman checking us in was helpful and friendly. but the lady that was there the following day she was not friendly at all no smile at all.
• Stefan (5/5): Not worth the price - Location Asked for dinner and was told is R350 a plate and breakfast at R200 a plate . Eventually had dinner for R250 for a pork tjop rice and 2 drinks. Bed also uncomfortable and room very small

• Leann (10/5): Relax following a long drive or just as a gettaway - The accommodation was amazing the host and staff were great! The serenity from sitting on the adult swing overlooking the adult swing was wonderful ‼️
• Tim (10/5): - A warm, friendly welcome, clean comfortable room and hearty breakfast. When the time came to leave our hire car would not start and the extra help from the staff in dealing with Europcar was invaluable in helping us continue our journey.
• MR MOHAMMED (6/5): mediocre stay at Big Five - the stay was not so good - the area was not good its also very far from centre and it takes such a long time due to traffic. we had to skip breakfast as it only starts at 7 am wont use this place again - not for our type of business we needed a business hub as well for our emails and scanning
• Neil (10/5): - We were en route to Port Shepstone from East London and this location was midway. A bonus with this stay was the home cooked meal — especially welcome since there were no restaurants nearby.

• Stéfanie (10/5): B&B bien placé, propre avec un magnifique design - Ce B&B est idéal lorsque vous avez besoin d'un transit sur votre route. Nous nous rendions vers Durban (et venions de Tsitsikamma). Cet endroit est idéal pour passer une soirée tranquille, se reposer et avoir un bon petit déjeuner avant de reprendre la route. Les alentours ne sont pas attirants niveau touristique mais ce n'était pas ce que nous cherchions non plus.
• Pete (8/5): Comfortable guesthouse, convenient location - Nice guesthouse conveniently located just off the main road to Kokstad in the northern suburbs of Mthatha. Polite staff to welcome your arrival. Comfortable, well-appointed rooms with a few minor flaws like a leaking shower head and 2 blown light bulbs in the bedside lamps. Good breakfast.
