The meal wasn't freshly cooked and we ate at 6 o'clock. The way it is served is not acceptable. Suggestion: prepare the veggies in a pot and keep it in the pot and let the guests dish up themselves. Veggies will not dry out and it creates a warm and homely atmosphere. You must start to think of a new way. The old way is no longer working. It was my 4th visit. - Ockie (10/5): Perfectly relaxing and super friendly staff. - Travalia reception communited with me since the day before arrival. They understood that we will check-in later than accepted and was fine with it. They sent me a menu in advance and I was able to order supper which was delivered to our room about 45 minutes after arrival. We felt at home and had a wonderful overnight stay, well rested the next morning and ready for another 600km. Nothing - we found everything to our liking. thanks

- Katie (10/5): So convenient and wonderfully appointed. Would highly recommend! - The location was so convenient for an overnight on our way from Cape Town to Johannesburg. The infrastructure was immaculate, rooms very well appointed, staff so friendly and accommodating, and padstal a delightful surprise. It was all great.

- Derek (10/5): A fantastic oasis very well positioned for a midday start from Cape Town to Johannesburg. Impeccable facilities and serv - The customer service is OUTSTANDING! Great facilities, especially the new family rooms, impeccable service, easy check in and out.. everything a top class experience and in a good spot for travel between the Cape and Gauteng. All is excellent. No problems whatsoever.

- Newton (9/5): Almost perfect. - The location is perfect, the facilities and wife as well. We had a great dinner and was able to get a beautiful run in to stretch our legs after the long drive. There was no facilities to hang our clothes or a chair to sit and work at.
- HERMAN (9/5): Fantastic stay at Travalia Guest Farm - The room was spacious and had everything we needed including electric blankets. The bed was comfortable. Free secure parking is provided. Dinner was fantastic. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. A great place to have a one night stay. Nothing, everything was to our liking.

- Eldon (10/5): We love Travalia - best ever - We always sleep over at Travalia when traveling to Cape Town, we love the rooms and the braai in the evenings at our chalet. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Everything was perfect
- Chris (10/5): Fantastic. - Having been there in 2019, it still had the same comfortable feeling of security and comfort. Staff were friendly as always, rooms were clean and tidy and the farm stall well stocked. Nothing to report.
- Gideon (6/5): Okay as a last choice. - We like the location near the highway but far enough not to be disturbed by traffic noise. We especially liked the nearby Steers restaurant where we could buy hamburgers for dinner. We were told that every room has its own barbeque. The barbegue of our room was located right in front of our neighbour guests’s front door so we did’nt use it out of respect for our neighbour. Further more we have to rent cutlery at extra cost. The enamel tin plates were so badly chipped we thought they thought we brought pets with us so we returned it. And that is why the nearby Steers was so convenient.

- Sonja (8/5): . - Calm and tranquil The road side signage says Travalia Guest HOUSE, whereas the actual signage should be Travalia Guest FARM. This is very confusing. On booking.com there is also reference to ‘Nelspoort’ which is far from where the Guest Farm is.
- Jansen (10/5): - A great place to take a break on route between Johannesburg and Cape Town. Lovely lawns with comfortable garden furniture to kick back and relax whilst admiring the views. Friendly staff. Large, comfortable rooms and bathrooms. A very nice restaurant with excellent food. Good value for money.
