Judith (1/5): Disgrace - Nothing I wasn’t there long enough Beware, very dodgy place. I booked a room in the morning online and when I arrived in the afternoon they had no idea about the booking. I explained I had booked a room and they said they don’t actually have anything but will check. After half hour which they left me baking in the sun in the driveway, the maid there showed me a room which was not made up, sheets obviously slept in and stained, spider in bathroom sink, no toilet paper, someone’s lighter and tissues on the bedside table, it was a disgrace. I went out to see the lady who I had spoke to and she had left! I also left! In the evening the owner called me and profusely apologized saying she will refund me, this was in February.. it’s April. When I asked about my refund over booking I was told I was not getting it cause I had gotten my room, (I guess that was good enough, made or unmade, clean or dirty) Btw the gate and security of premises left a lot to be wanted. Stay away from this place there are much much nicer places in the area which respect patrons.

Nicolet (1/5): Bad - The property took our money & cancelled on us late at night and we had nowhere to go. it took them a very long time to refund us.
Gill (4/5): Disappointing - The place was clean, the staff were well mannered and friendly. No handle on the inside of the bathroom door, so you have to ask whoever you are with to close the toilet door for you from the outside. Two hornets and some strange bugs in our room. We were downgraded to a smaller room due to "unforseen maintenance" only to find out on our arrival that there were other people staying in the room we actually wanted. They did offer us a breakfast to compensate for this but we had to leave quite early in the morning so we didn't even get to have this. No communication as to when we were leaving or when we'd like our breakfast. TV wasn't working, internet wasn't working. Overall, just really disappointed and I don't think it was worth the money at all. Cant see myself going back.

Tamara (10/5): Homey atmosphere - I spent one night at Craighall Garden and it wad lovely. Angie is friendly and relaxed and we ended up having a good chat over breakfast. I'm a big believer in the fact that little details make all the difference and that was the case here. I arrived back from my dinner event to discover that the electric blanket had been turned on to warm tune bed, as well as the bathroom wall panel heater. I happened to mention in passing that I'm not mad about eggs for breakfast and so, instead, Angie served fresh fruit, fried halloumi and avo... delicious. Some of the furnishings are slightly worn, but the room I stayed in was extremely comfortable and had everything I might need, from a desk and enough power points to a jug of filtered water and milk in the little fridge for coffee. The property is quiet, peaceful and conveniently located.
