• Kwatsha (5/5): My stay was okay. - Loved the views and friendly staff I was looking forward on taking a swim, the swimming pool was drained out. When we wanted take a shower in the evening the water was cold. Not a lot of DSTV channels.

• Slindile (10/5): - The property is located in a very nice area. It is very calming. The staff is friendly and sweet. The parking situation and the lack of telephones in the building are major concerns. As a visitor to Milkwood, it is very difficult to get assistance when trying to make contact. Calls are not answered, and even WhatsApp messages receive delayed responses. For example, I required assistance at around 7:00 pm the previous evening, but I only received a voice note response the following day at 3:12 pm. The voice note was from a lady who was coughing and simply asked, “Who am I?”, which was confusing and did not assist with the matter I had raised. This delay and the nature of the response made the experience frustrating and unprofessional.

COFFEE was the cheapest and Instant brand ... a simple Pod machine would have been great and made a great difference ... I don't do instant and especially Ricoffy.... if you are looking for quality guests....... TOWELLS Minimal size towels of Hand Towell size instead of spending a little more to provide Bath Sheets also does not rate well in my book ... But the bed, fridge, floors and cleanliness rated fine ...

The room was great, the view was perfect and the staff were amazingly helpful. They even checked my room as I was checking out and found the shirt I had left in the closet. Very impressed overall. There was no hot water late in the evening for some reason which let down the visit somewhat. A cold shower at 11pm after a long day of work was not ideal.

• Yamkela (1/5): NEVER AGAIN! Zero customer service and no humanity from management - The caretaker, who tried by all means to get me plaace to sleep at midnight in a different province! Kudos to him! Service is not client driven, there was an error with my booking and did not bother to help and no refund provided or a plan made.
• FJC (9/5): I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area. - I really enjoyed my stay at this lovely guest house. It’s centrally located, which made getting around so easy. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made me feel right at home. I had a very pleasant experience and would happily recommend this guest house to friends and family. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area! There was not anything that I didn't like.

Will go back. - An amazing accommodation, great hosts and team who took care of us during our 5-night stay. Stef was as professional as you can get, she kept in communication with me any time I sent a message, from booking stages, until we arrived at Milkwood accommodation, and during our stay. None comes to mind

The sea and garden view are amazing. We experienced some issues with the toilet however it did not impact our stay negatively.

I will also recommend other people to book there, especially couples. Pots are very small they only accommodate only two people, not large group. No cheffing bowls, but other than everything was perfect.

• Carlin (7/5): Regardless of any complaints I would recommend staying here. - The view is beautiful. The pool was perfect. I loved the fact that there were table and chairs under a big tree overlooking the ocean. The bed was very spacious and comfortable, and the apartment was very clean. There was enough space for the 2 of us and the staff are very friendly and helpful. If you don't mind sharing the outside space with other people, then it's a great place to be. We booked an apartment at the back, so we did not have a full sea view. But the small sea view that we did have was unfortunately blocked by one of the other guests' trailers. I wish it could have been moved to accommodate the back apartment's view. Understanding that the kitchen is very small, the complaints I have is that it was quite difficult to make a meal with the very small pot and board cutter and a HUGE pan that was too big for the stove. The knives are also blunt, and the dishwashing liquid was so watered down that it didn't produce any foam to feel that the dishes I washed were clean.
