- Q4702RGvaleriep (4/5): Dingy and Worn - My family and I stopped at this hotel overnight while traveling the Ohio turnpike. The front desk staff were pleasant, but exhibited questionable customer service. My first possible concerning experience was that the gentleman at the front desk asked to examine my credit card before I used it. After his examination, he handed my credit card back for me to swipe in the credit card machine on the counter. Then, he asked me to sign a form stating that I will be charged $500 for any room damages. Maybe this is a standard ask of all hotel guests? Lastly, he asked me if I had any pets with me (which I did not). I definitely would have indicated having a pet when making the reservation. His front desk co-worker who was clicking away in the computer all of this time told him “the room is ready” then glanced at me with an embarrassed look and walked away which was curious. This was at 5:00pm. We were assigned room 204 and it was in shabby condition. Funny that he asked me to sign a waiver about paying $500 for room damages. The room was not in good shape (see attached pictures). And the TV in the King bedroom did not work. We had a two bedroom suite. The walls of all three rooms were painted a dingy, dull color that made the atmosphere appear dark. The free morning breakfast was lacking. The only edible items were fruit. We made a hasty exit first thing in the morning. With a paint refresh and carpet/wall repairs, this hotel room would score much higher.
- Shannon (2/5): Very diss - Stay was horrible. Got in one room with torn carpet. TVs did not work. Had to pack up everything and move to a new room where the TVs also did not work.

I am well travelled and have been to many hotels that offer free breakfast. I don’t expect five star quality meals, however I also don’t expect burnt tasteless eggs, and moldy bread and bagels. Definitely not worth the extra money for a free inedible meal.
- Sylvia (6/5): Clean but not fancy - Clean and comfortable bed, but the rooms are tired with carpet showing wear and stains, even visible tack strip where the carpet transitions to the bathroom tile. There’s cracked tiles near the kitchen and the sofa just looks beat up. The rooms just need a refresh. But this is a good location just off I 80, so very convenient if you’re passing through.

- Elena (10/5): Mom/Sisters Trip - While we only stayed one night, all 6 in our party really enjoyed the hotel. We rented a suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a kitchen and a living area. Aside from a couple small tears in the carpet and a couch that could use an update, it was more than we could have asked for. Beds were super comfy, the hotel was clean and all of the staff were super friendly. The area felt safe and was conveniently located near a gas station and highway entrance. Nice selection for breakfast, but only one meat choice. The only thing that could have made the suite better was a cardtable and chairs to sit around. Would definitely stay here again!

- Christine (10/5): - The Staybridge Suites was an ideal place to stay for my family of 5 + 2 grandparents. The free breakfast was substantial and the beds were comfortable. Everyone was super friendly and the cleanliness was much appreciated as I am one to have high standards for that. Also, the outdoor space/seating area was really nice to hang out in. They had a basketball hoop that you can play at if you ask the front desk for a ball. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The power went out in the second bedroom of the suite overnight and I had nothing plugged in. There was no TV's in the livingroom. something about the original tv wasn't compatible with direct tv. This 2 bedroom suite was not worth it for the price for the terrible condition of this room. Shameful!

- Smilefrogs1 (6/5): Not horrible but know before you go - You must use a physical credit card. They said it’s for your safety but then don’t even allow tap to pay again stating safety. Which tap to pay is a safer method. Printer in business center does not work. Asked at the desk and it’s been a few years since it has worked. It was not a bad stay but they are kind of picky about payment and in today’s world with all the convenience options available if you aren’t offering those then make sure you post it where travelers know in advance of booking. A business center without a working printer? What else doesn’t work? Kind of disappointed and not what I would expect of IHG.

Living room tv don’t work, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash container fell off the wall at 3am. Rodent in bathroom wall that had my dog barking which I received a call (she was very nice) to come get him so I had to leave the hospital. The tub is incredible, the pillows and bed was great! Be aware of time in the pool, no warning they just shut off lights on you at 10pm. No warning.

They have a comfortable sitting area off the lobby and a convenience area to purchase snacks & beverages.
- Ryan (4/5): - When we walked into the bedroom of the suite there was a huge bug on the side of the bed staring at us. We figured he snuck in, and since he wasn't inside the sheets we took care of him and continued getting ready for bed. When we got into bed, the sheets felt slightly damp. We weren't sure if it was the humidity or something else. It was late and we didn't want to fuss with getting another room, so we just wore long pants and a sweatshirt to bed. Throughout the night we heard the guests above us flush the toilet and run the water several times. Needless to say, it wasn't our best night's sleep. In the morning when we went to shower, trying to get consistent hot water was a struggle. Also, pushing the handle warmer made the shower squeal. Finally, the lights and outlets in the kitchen weren't functioning properly. Ony half the outlets actually worked, and some of the lights just flickered when you switched them on. This hotel is tired.

- Ferrari (1/5): Vietnamese seafood Elevator/Luxury Trap Motel - I liked the fact that online your deceived into believing that this hotel stands on Policies that keep they're guests satisfied, but they do not! Thanks for letting down a hard working, disabled child family! We did not like the fact that we were kept up all night by the people upstairs who were in a WWF ROYAL RUMBLE LITERALLY!! We informed staff and they said they were familiar with the family like ok Wtf🤔 But then nothing happened and they continued till 8am. We left earlier before checkout! I wouldn't advise staying here if you wanna sleep. Go here if you wanna party, Smoke, and stay up late this the hotel for you.

- Todd (2/5): DON'T STAY HERE - The front desk staff was amazing, but the room was horrible. The seat cushion on the couch was ripped extremely bad. The floor was coming up and the tack strip with nails was exposed in which one of my kids stepped on. The dishes were cracked and the hotel smelled like dead fish. There is absolutely nobody that looks out and cares for the pool area. There were several disrespectful kids yelling, running, taking random peoples things. Trying to add the photos but it wont let me.

Stains on bottom of the ottoman. Did not even stay the night as planned because the room was not worth the money. Dirty. Definitely would not recommend. I’ve stayed in rooms half the price that were much better and clean.

- Cindy (9/5): It was very nice overall. - It was very comfortable and location worked nicely for the activities we had attended. Had some cobwebs on the ceiling. Half of the light bulbs for bathroom vanity and upper ceiling were out.

- Don (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel is very nice and the staff were very friendly. It was also very convenient as it was just off the highway.
- Gina (2/5): Flood - An hour before our stay, the hotel calls us to inform they had a flood and would be moving our reservation to the dump next door. Not happy at all. The hotel next door was in no way comparable to what i booked. The hotel made sure to put us in a tiny cramped room with a view of the hotel we were supposed to be in. No attempt of compensation towards our reservation was made. Just a move next door to an inferior hotel.

- Rand (10/5): Relaxing one day stay. - We were traveling home from a vacation and needed a relaxing night. The suite was well equipped with kitchen and supplies, so we could make our own dinner. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean.

- Gretchen (1/5): Never use secure.booking.com again. Horrible - Nothing. There was a door for the toilet and shower, but it was a small room, so it was difficult to change my clothes. I wish the sink was included in the room, to make it more spacious. When I booked the room, two queen beds was the choice I picked, but I arrived the hotel gave us a king bed with a pull out couch. So my 21 year old son had an uncomfortable sleep. Also the staff stated we would have to make the sofa bed ourselves. Not a vacation if you ask me!!!

- Brandon (2/5): - Our rooms were disgusting, not updated, the walls had peel marks, chipped paint, the floors literally had patches of carpet missing. Our bathroom was not clean and we had no towels in one room. I asked the front desk to clean our room again and he replied, the cleaning staff is already gone. The pool area was not clean and a little out dated, but the gym room was decent. I would not recommend staying here!
