ErnestB60 (10/5): Returned because of great stay from last year, liked having a full sized refrigerator in the room! - We came back because of the positive stay we had last year (April 2025). We decided to drive from Atlanta this time (I-85S to I-65S to I-10W) to save a few dollars and found that to be a good decision as we had a smooth trip. Being retired now, we find that we are not in a hurry to 'get there' anymore. Several graduations were occurring in NOLA that weekend so it was great meeting many happy families in the breakfast area. This time we had a 1 BR King which provided more room. Closing the door and shades gets the room very dark which makes sleeping easier. This may be our go to room for future trips. The full size kitchen is also the reason we drove as we went to Zuppardo's to buy Gumbo, Etouffee and other Louisiana delicacies to take back with us, Having the full size freezer helped as we froze items to take back. There are also several reasonably priced restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Add to that, this location is very convenient to downtown New Orleans. Front desk staff was very helpful with recommendations and suggestions. The only observation I would make is that the shower water is soft. Not a deal breaker but something to be aware of. Looking forward to staying at this property again during our next visit to NOLA!

Shelly (10/5): Great location and a very quiet hotel! - The room was spacious and extremely clean. The staff were very friendly and responsive to any requests we made. The rooms are extremely well sound proofed. Our room was right by the elevator and we never once heard the elevator or people utilizing the elevator. It was so quiet!! We enjoyed the location as there are stores, restaurants and bars within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again. Water pressure was adequate but barely. 3 towels is an odd number for a king size room, 4 would seem more logical. When we requested an additional towel the front desk staff cheerfully provided us with one so this in no way impacted our rating of the hotel.

We didn’t use the kitchen facilities in the room much on this stay but they would be very nice to have on a different type of trip. Loved how close Whole Foods was - walked there within 5 min for a few items one day. Breakfast had a great selection of tasty food. The gym was impressive!!! We didn’t try the pool.

Nicole (8/5): Newly renovated hotel in a good location - This newly renovated hotel is clean and comfortable with a great location 15 min from New Orleans and across the street from a massive Whole Foods. Beds were comfortable, room AC worked great, blackout curtains on windows made the room nice & dark at night. Free hot breakfast buffet included eggs, potatoes, breakfast meat if you’re into that (I’m not), various breads and tortillas, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, fruit, juice, coffee and tea. Kitchen was sparsely but adequately equipped for simple cooking with a small 2-burner cooktop, nonstick frying pan, pasta pot, silverware, glasses, and dishes for 4. There’s a dishwasher but no drying rack or sponge for handwashing dishes. The hot water in the shower took forever to come up and the water pressure in the shower was terrible. Otherwise this would have been a 10/10.

This is our second time staying at this hotel and both times has been great although this time we was surprised with a parking fee each day. Would of been nice to be told that when checking in. We may have not parked in the parking lot, I could of used Uber or any other ride share services. Overall we will be staying here again. The location is perfect!

Todd (10/5): - Newer hotel. So everything was clean and in working order. Big room, open floor plan. Comfy beds. Good greakfast too, with many options. We needed to stay a little extra due to a medical procedure, and they allowed us to stay until 1pm. We'd stay here again.

The rooms were clean as well, and there were no issues, honestly. I thought we would have a variety of breakfast selections, but it was the same thing each of the 4days. we was there.. but it was okay. The employees who worked in the breakfast area were very nice and polite. And also had no issues with having a conversation with you.

ErnestB60 (10/5): Convenient to New Orleans and Airport with many restaurants nearby - I am a Hilton Honors member thus look for Hilton properties during my travels. I knew that I wanted to stay outside of downtown New Orleans (cheaper prices for hotels and food) and have come to enjoy the Metarie area. I was familiar with Homewood Suites from previous travels. This property was about 20 minutes from the airport and French Quarter which made the location ideal for us. I was slightly disappointed that bacon was not a meat for breakfast. I was also disappointed that they only had the evening social on Wednesday (the evening before I arrived). Other than that, it was a great stay. The room was spacious and clean. This location was just off Veterans Memorial Highway and very close to many restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. Everything you could need is on this stretch in Metarie. A shout out to Miss Cookie and Miss Rachel at the front desk. Both ladies were EXTREMELY helpful with suggestions for restaurants and grocery stores. Most grocery stores have a hot food bar, which we patronized a few evenings. We could bring leftovers back then store in the full sized fridge. We could use the microwave to heat them up later when we needed a snack. We liked the food at Bobby Hebert's and Acme Seafood when we went to restaurants. I definitely recommend this property and will stay here again when we visit New Orleans next year.

Holly (10/5): Nice weekend getaway. - The hotel was well decorated and clean. Our room was great, with a full size refrigerator, microwave and stove top. My husband and 8yo step daughter loved the pool and the little 4 hole putting greens area. We enjoyed breakfast each morning of our stay, there was a nice variety of options and well maintained and clean area. We would definitely stay again.

The customer service was excellent, and their was not an extra charge for breakfast, which was delicious and made the stay more pleasant. The decorations in the hotel was beautiful. Especially the Mardi Gras tree and table in the lobby. I have already recommended this hotel to others and now this is the only place i wanna stay when i come home.
