Sharon (4/5): Don't stay here - Check in not welcoming, and was treated as if we were going to steal towels or smoke in the room. Rude front desk. The only decent thing about this hotel is that the wifi worked.

Allison (2/5): - I paid for an upgraded room, the honeymoon suite with king bed with the spa tub, and I received a tiny room with regular shower and king bed that has three pillows with a recliner chair. I got a better room when I paid less for a queen bed. Very disappointed and feel very scammed.
Allison (10/5): - Well lit parking lot with plenty of spaces, clean room and nicely furnished room with A/C, clean bathroom and shower with good water pressure and hot water. I appreciated the friendly staff and easy check in and check out experience. Would stay again.
MARSHA (6/5): - Friendly, caring staff. Needed to see several rooms before choosing a decent one that didn’t smell “musky”. Lacks basic amenities such as hot water in rooms or lobby. No seating in lobby. Charges the same nightly rate as a full service hotel. Without basics, rate should be less.

Kelly (10/5): Great service - Weather was not best and I would not make it back to my home city about 30 miles from here. I decided to stay nearby my work to not get hurt on the way home. Staff was quick and nice. Room was clean. Pillows were flat and blankets on the bed were thin. Everything was really clean.

Galen (4/5): - This seems like a place locals come to have a party or do drugs. People were very loud. The room smelled clean but the bathroom wasn't very clean. Hair in the shower. At 4 am the room next door tried to open the adjoining room door. We stayed here because it was the least expensive option. I'd think twice if I had to do it again.
Jennifer (2/5): - The woman told me she didn't have a room for me. I tried to show her my confirmation number, and she said it didn't matter, that she didn't have any rooms. No apology, no over of assistance in any way the lobby had a bad odor and there was old furniture piled up on the sidewalk in front of the lobby.

Orlando (2/5): Bad experience - The stay, for one night, was terrible. From the entrance the cigarette smell is awful, the person at the reception was smoking when I arrived. The room, a non-smoking room, smelled of cigarettes and dampness. The room could be comfortable. When I checked out, I had to wait more than 5 minutes for someone to come to the front desk even though I rang the bell more than 5 times. I would not recommend it but it is the only one in town.
Errol (2/5): - To be honest, the property need better management we find bedbugs in the room we change rooms three times. The first room water was leaking from the AC. The second room got bedbugs, undeterred room the refrigerator was networking.

Andrea Darlene (2/5): Really guys? - This place sucks. I was susposed to get the vip package to include a room with a jacuzzi tub....the room i got had a half of a bed, even less of a comforter, no coffee in rhe morning, no cable, barely wifi, and not even a tub at all. I dont understand.
Verified traveler (6/5): Overall review - The attendant at the desk was nice, overall this hotel is NOT a luxury hotel. NOT a luxury hotel, just a place to stay for a night or two. This is an impartial review and I didn't expect luxury to begin with. I somehow got a smoker's room, but only found that out after my stay. The fire detector was missing, the room smelled of cigarette smoke (again, didn't know it was a smoker's room), and the towels were NOT cleaned (I luckily brought my own). Wash cloths were not provided nor the WiFi password was not provided. My overall stay? Pretty okay, not the best but not the worst. Multiple food places and a grocery store in walking distance. The attendant was nice. I should preface that there is an additional $50 charge that is refundable at the end of your stay (I reserved online, so this cost kinda caught me by surprise but no big deal). The room was clean and honestly neat overall aside from the missing fire detector and the dirty towels. I'd recommend coming here if you need to stay for a night or two because you're in the area for a class or visiting someone or even passing through, but I would NOT recommend it if it is your goal to have luxury.

Casey (10/5): Great experience - The friendliness of the staff exceeded my expectations and everyone was very polite about any questions I had. Food establishments were probably the most convenient for me I’ve had in a long time of my traveling to officiate baseball games.
Pobtsuas (6/5): Wrong place at the wrong time. - Bed was ok. very dusty on and around the bathroom mirror, floor very dusty. Reserved this room for couple, but they provide ONLY one towel. Front desk refused to give me a 2nd towel when I walk up to the front desk. All she tells me that they ran out of towel. But later on that evening. Someone did bring a towel. Very pool services.

Verified traveler (8/5): Value in Monroe - Room was clean, overall condition of building is getting worn. It is the economical value for the area and is centrally located. Suited the purpose and have stayed here on 2 occasions.

After waiting 15 minutes with the desk clerk calling people for help to check me in, I left for my meeting. When I returned two hours later the same thing happened again.

John (2/5): Hell to the nah!!!! - The most unorganized, disgusting, 1920s way of keeping records that I have ever had the displeasure of staying at place! They have my room away despite having a reservation. Told me they only had the King Suite left so being the only place within 30 miles decided to go with it. Charged an extra $120 dollars for a dirty room with bugs. Literally trash on the floor and under the bed, mattress falling apart, dirty sheets with cigarette burns, a spider the size of a Volkswagen crawling on the bed, the shower doesn’t drain, they don’t provide towels , and mold in the refrigerator that doesn’t work. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else.
Kenneth (2/5): - Non smoking room reaked of smoke. Mattress was 100 years old. Mold in shower. Old lady at front desk had no idea how to check in, check out or use the computer at all. Random dude slept in the hallway for at least 5 hours just feet from my room.
Wendy (4/5): Friendly staff but poor conditions - The staff was very friendly, especially Glenda. However, our first problem was the toilet stopped up. It was stopped up prior to us using the facility. Instead of there being maintenance staff to fix the issue , we were handed a plunger and a snake to fix the problem ourselves. When we couldn’t fix the issue, Glenda was nice enough to come try and did end up fixing the problem. Secondly, I purchased a birthday cake for my boyfriend’s birthday. We left the cake in the room, in the box unopened, while we went to dinner. When we came back the cake and table were covered in ants. When I informed the front desk there was no effort made to reimburse for the cake or anything.

Definitely not a place that you'd want to stay if you're an asthmatic or allergic to cigarettes.

Chellay (2/5): DONT STAY HERE!!!!!! - We had a room with 2 double beds. When we pulled the blanket back on the 1 bed it was full of crumbs. We had 2 dirty towels by the sink area. The shower floor was falling apart. If we hadn’t been driving for so many hours we would have checked out right away. Vending machine was out of most of what we wanted. We paid a lot for the couple hours we slept in all our clothes on top of the blanket. Told the front desk staff they said they don’t clean the rooms. Worst hotel we have ever stayed in.
