Irs off season we understood it would be quiet. We didnt expect a ghost town. During most of our stay we were the only ones there. Coffee/ cafe never opened. There was a Kurig in the room amd 2kcups for our 4 day stay. No one asked us about fresh towels and no one responded to my question about ice. Pretty much had 0 interaction with staff.. It snowed about 6-8 inches our second night there and no one bothered to even show up to shovel the exit.

It’s in in a great location with just a few minutes walk to beach and the inlet is across the street too fish. The parking is not great. It is very tight. It would be better if they owned the spaces across the street. The bathroom lacks A/C and the vent does not minimize the steam the shower creates. It can get quite hot in there for quite awhile.

- Maria (10/5): - We absolutely loved stayed at Casa Del Mar!!! It was quiet, clean, pet friendly and most importantly very welcoming ! The staff was very accommodating and helped us with every aspect of our trip. The area is great, you’re right by a dock but just a 10 minute walk to the Point Pleasant Beach Boardwalk and Tiki bar. A 10 minute drive from the Fisherman’s Cove Beach which is a dog beach so very convenient for us, I wish we would’ve stayed longer. The variety of food and desserts are endless near there.

Iron very helpful but instruction to use on any flat surface with towel would be helpful with the iron. There is small cafe attached . Dawn Easter service 6am opposite side of inlet was really beautiful and riverside cafe offered free hot drinks and pastries. This is a motel with connecting doors to next room. Noise easily passed from next door and above. I used earplugs . Our 1st night was perfect but second night the neighbours had TV on till after 1 am. Kettle would have been very helpful as the coffee maker did not heat the water and we love a hot drink in our room.

Also no ice available tho unit interestingly had an ice bucket. Unit had no microwave and no in unit coffee maker which would have been helpful. Garbage in unit had not been collected. No interaction with owner other than via text. All that being said the location was great and it was very private. if they had coffee avail i would rent again,

- Jaycrny (7/5): Nice hotel, comfy beds in the heart of the beach - The hotel is nice, right in the area of the beach and boardwalk with easy access to restaurants, attractions and all that Point Pleasant Beach has to offer. The hotel is well maintained, the beds extremely comfortable, and the rooms are modern and spacious. The parking is a bit challenging, at least if you are in the back parking area and there are large vehicles in the main section since there is very little room to maneuver. And if you are traveling there off season, it's probably good to be aware that the coffee shop is not open - I was counting on my early morning coffee and it was closed, so I had to run out to get my morning fix.

We didn't realize that the cafe/store on the premises would not be open during our stay, (which was out-of-season), leading us to need to drive out for coffee in the morning. A small coffeemaker in the room for after-season guests would have been nice.

If you can try to stay in a different room rather than the Junior suite. There just was not enough room for one person let alone another and a dog. I hope this will help you deside.

Overall, we had a really good stay. The location was nice, because we had a parking issue, we walked to the boardwalk at night. There should be something telling you on the site that parking is tight if you have a large vehicle. We had to park in a different spot at one point because there was no way to get in our spot. We have a smaller vehicle which we would have taken, had we known. There was no coffee pot in the room, but coffee available for purchase in the lobby. The biggest issue was the terrible wifi. I had work to do on my phone & it would disconnect every 2 mins. I ended up just using my data to check on things.

Casa Del Mar was wonderful, updated modern rooms, clean, beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The boutique and cafe was convenient with coffee, treats and breakfast food. Will definitely be planning another visit! Everything was perfect!

- Mike (8/5): Nice people, Clean room, Nice getaway - Location is excellent. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and numerous good restaurants. Room was spotless and comfortable. The only very insignificant (to us anyway) downside was the parking lot, which is very small and tight to park in with a larger SUV. We didn't drive once we got there so once parked it really didn't affect us. The staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The coffee shop (that doubles as the office) has great coffee and breakfast sandwiches and various other treats. We will be back again Cant think anything negative to say.

- Corine (8/5): Good shore experience, close to Manasquan inlet. - Clean , good location ,friendly staff. TvV was difficult to control especially wanting to watch some Olympics. A bit over priced for the facility. But a good solid choice Bed and ramp into bathroom were squeaky. Outlets were too few near beds for charging phones, etc.

- Marie (9/5): Clean, comfortable and quiet motel with off the street parking - Modern and clean, with off the street parking. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. Used the bikes which were in good condition. Also, in a quiet location around the corner from good restaurants on the water. Could have some glasses and cutlery in the room in case you eat in the room.
- Kimberly (4/5): Disappointing - My room was on the first floor, small for the price. 2 or 3 blocks from the north end of the boardwalk. The cost for what was there. The vanity in the bathroom was so small I could not put anything out. The mirror was hung so high you had to be at least 5'5" to be able to use it. The room was never dark at night due to porch lights and items in room with constant glow. A coffee maker would have been nice, but then they couldn't sell you coffee in their cafe. Just wasn't what I expected for the price.

- Brian (10/5): Perfect for a couple or small family. Easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. Very friendly staff. - Excellent location, really friendly staff. The cafe has some great coffees and sweets!

- Jacqueline (4/5): - The room was clean but small. Air purifier and dehumidifier in the room but still woke up with headaches every morning. Alot of noise from upstairs which was particularly disturbing at night. No daily housekeeping which I didn’t realize until we asked. Ridiculous! We could’ve requested it for added cost but weren’t told that. Couldn’t get decent tv and each time we found a movie it was cut off after a bit stating connection lost. The location was good which is the only positive thing I can say. Will definitely NOT stay here again. Do not recommend!
