Guest Reviews
- Lynn (8/5): - All the staff were great . The beach area can use some chairs. The room where I stayed needs a new TV and the sink was draining very slow.
- Stefanie (10/5): - This property suited our needs perfectly. It’s right on the water and right in the center of El Nido. It’s right next to restaurants, tour information, and a convenience store, plus an easy area to grab a trike. The only complaint I have is that the rooms are all adjoining so it was a bit loud if you have neighbors. We could hear the rooms next door TV all night. Otherwise it had exactly what we needed and the staff was SO nice and caring.
- Insiyah (6/5): - Firstly, the location is absolutely amazing. Lots of things just around the hotel & it is on a beach.
However, the room was much smaller than expected. There was no hot water available & lacked water pressure as well. The water in the taps was visibly yellow. The water provided by the hotel also tasted very weird.
Overall, it is an average hotel.
- Adam (8/5): - I would give the facility a 4 star rating if only it had solar power.
- Lourdes (8/5): - Property, being in the pop district has a lot of restobars to choose from. Accommodation price is reasonable considering it is beachfront, the staffs are friendly and accommodating. What I dont like are the towels, they should consider buying new sets. Sewage system must be improved. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thanks to Marjun for the upgrade of the room, sunset view of the room is fantastic.
- John (6/5): - Staff were very friendly! Breakfast was cold dry rice and pork, some bread options and eggs to order. I wouldnt quite call my room a suite, really nothing more than a basic hotel room, bed, night stand on either side and tv hanging on wall. The bathroom sink leaked so the floor was always wet, the water in the sink and toilet was brown and smelled awful. There was loud construction noise beginning just after 8 am.
Otherwise the bed and room was clean and comfy and the ac worked well.
- Amanda (2/5): DO NOT STAY - They know the rooms are inadequit...like the plumbing doesn't work...actually toilets not flushing and they place patrons in these rooms anyway. Then, they shuffle people around to different rooms after a complaint...this way the rooms that shouldn't be rented out are rented daily. Also, a dog took my Birkenstock and they refused to reimburse me ANYTHING let alone help me. I've never seen so many unhappy people needing so much assistance from an incapable staff. Truly, terrible.
- Deborah (10/5): - Get the sunset suite! It's worth the money and steps from the ocean...
- Maria (10/5): - I love Eco Suites Hotel in El Nido, the property is beach front, the rooms are nice and well decorated and most importantly the staff are kind and attentive. Marjun, Emman and Aiza are amazing!
We will definitely return.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very good location - Very good location with access to the beach and many restaurants nearby.
- Olea (4/5): - Nice design. Good location. We stayed in room 209 for 3 nights. We had 3 main issues with the hotel. The first was the Wi-Fi. My husband had important work emails and messages he needed to deal with but was unable to. During our 3 night stay, we had no Wi-Fi. Second, there was very limited hot water. Literally after 3 minutes of hot water, there was no more. So we basically showered in cold water every night. Last issue was the drainage in the shower. The plumbing was so terrible, the shower would be flooded for at least 15 minutes before draining. We told the staff about the issues but nothing was dealt with. Our last night there, no one came to clean the rooms. I'm usually let issues go but this was just too many, it left a pretty bad impression for us.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The place is located along the beach, it was wonderful to see the sunset. Room was a bit small but clean enough and we enjoyed drinking at the bar next to the hotel. Also, the chef prepared our early breakfast because our flight was around 8am. Overall, it was a good choice to stay there.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Close to the beach and really good restaurants and bar! Best staff!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We had the deluxe king, which was overlooking the beach, with stunning views. This was the highlight. The room itself was ok, the bed was uncomfortable, shower was nice and hot, but not very clean and the toilet smelt. Housekeeping was hit and miss, there were no bath towels when we arrived, one day they took the toilet paper and didn’t replace it, another day they took our beach towels and bath towels and didn’t replace. Reception were great and supplied these items. There were only tokenistic attempts to be eco (from what we could see). No plastic bottles (but plastic toothbrushes were supplied), free clean water (which was fantastic, just remember to bring a reusable bottle), recycled paper used. Lots of lighting used outside all night, which didn’t seem very eco. Would be great to see a better commitment to being eco, since that’s part of their name
- Cosette (10/5): Great place to stay in Corong Corong - Great service from the staff!
- Hila (8/5): - No hot water spoiled it a bit
- Verified traveler (6/5): Meh - Arrived in heavy rain, was told to wait till 2pm to check in despite the place being half empty and standing there soaking wet (and a long walk from main road to hotel entrance), they couldn't find my reservation, safe in room didn't work - overall horrible value, can do much better for same price or cheaper in PH
- Stu (8/5): Simple Clean Beachfront Fun - Right on the beach rooms that are clean and comfortable. Simple living so you can experience El Nido without breaking the bank. Staff is wonderful and our stay will be remembered for a lifetime.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Incompetent staff - Eco Refused to issue an official receipt for my stay. This is against the law. Staff are friendly but incompetent.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Hotel right on the beach, basic - Very basic hotel, overpriced for what it was. Room & bed ok, but bathroom definitely needs some improvements. Staff was ok, but not overally helpful. Limited breakfast options and not too great either. No restaurant/bar on site but located around couple restaurants with option to dine out. Location was ok, a bit further up from the city centre but managable with transport available on your doorstep. Wouldn't recommend for longer stays.
