- mfierrowesty (10/5): Lovely Traditional Hotel - Loved this traditional hotel! We stayed in a traditional room. The staff sets up and takes down the room morning and night. The futons were very comfortable. The onsite onsen was also lovely and the staff was understanding for those of us who hadn't experienced that before. They have a lovely lounge area and a good breakfast buffet. It was a treat to stay here. We also were able to arrange for 7 of us to get massages- the staff was very accomodating!

- Cylindergal (10/5): I never felt so welcomed - Hotel where you are welcomed from the start. We were greeted at the entrance as they were already expecting us. Check in was a breeze and our luggage’s were immediately brought to our rooms by the friendly staff. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. We had ordered dinner with our stay and they fed us really well with a multi-course kaiseki meal. The car park was spacious with enough room for all car sizes. We enjoyed both indoor and outdoor onsen very much. Will definitely return to the hotel.

- CaR_DrY (10/5): Will choose to stay in this hotel for our next visit to Beppu - The hotel is excellent in general. First of all, the location of the hotel is good with less than 10 minutes walk to Beppu station, there is also bus stations in front and opposite to the hotel with easy access to attractions such as Umi Jigoku, Yufuin, and Beppu Global tower. The room is clean and tidy with great views, though we are not super fans for hot spa, we enjoy it very much, yet we love the bigger pool. The hotel staff are great too, they ran out to help us to carry the luggage’s when we arrived, they also came out to collect our umbrella when we backed to the hotel as well. Finally, their breakfast is one of the best I have ever had in Japan with much variety of Oita local cuisines, while the view of the restaurant is scenic.
- MandyZZB (10/5): 素敵なホテル - 春休みが終わったばかりで、ゴールデンウイークもまだ始まっておらず、観光客も少ない。 ホテルには美しい環境があり、店員は親切です。Spring break was just ended, Golden Week hadn't started yet, and there were not so many tourists. The hotel has beautiful surroundings and the staff are friendly.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel is certainly worth its price, especially when you travel in a group of two. Everything at the hotel, from onsen to food, is OK. However, like most mid-range hotels, it's in a somehow awkward place: on the one hand, it doesn't aim to be fancy to impress; on the other hand, it doesn't help you save money if you are on a budget.
- Verified traveler (10/5): 非常に満足できた滞在です。 - 建物の外観は古いですが、内装はきれいです。お風呂は2箇所で、毎日男女入れ替えです。片方にはとても大きな露天風呂があり、長い時間お風呂につかっていても飽きません。お風呂では、多種類のシャンプー、リンス、化粧水、乳液を借りることができるので、これらの物を持ち込まなくても心配ありません。夕食、朝食ともにとてもおいしかったです。夕食については、同行者がなまものを食べれないことを事前に伝えたところ、快く焼き物に変更して頂けました。古い温泉旅館と思いますが、独特の雰囲気（何箇所かの宴会場、ラウンジ、お土産屋さんなど）があり、個人的にはすごく気に入りました。部屋からは別府タワー、別府湾が望め、景色も楽しめます。また、市内近隣の紹介資料を従業員の方が手作りされており、見ているだけで楽しめました。スタッフもみなさん明るく、親切でした。自信をもっておすすめできるホテルです。

- MoonJung (8/5): - 직원들이 영어가 서툴긴 하지만 기본적인건 가능. 후쿠오카 team lap Island 내부에서 카드지갑을 잃어버려서 영어로 통화가 잘 안되니 대신 좀 해달라고 하니 전화해줘서 지갑을 택배로 받아서 찾을 수 있게 도와줌. 근처에 공원이 있어서 아이가 가서 놀기 좋았음.

- Byunghee (8/5): 목욕탕이 만족스럽던 호텔 - 벳푸 메인역 걸어서 5분거리 위치. 석식 같은 경우 예약을 안하면 메인역 근처에서 해결해야 함. 다만, 벳푸역 근처 맛있게 먹을만한 식당을 찾지 못했음. (맛집이라고 블로그에 올라온 면집은 맛이 없었음) 목욕탕은 남녀탕이 매일 바뀌는데 안쪽 탕이 훨씬 좋았음. 다음에 온다면 숙소를 저렴한 곳으로 잡고 목욕탕만 별도로 이용(1만원) 하고 싶음

- HY (8/5): 老牌的溫泉旅 - 雖說離別府站走10分鐘，但推著行李一路上斜路很是吃力，好似有車站41號巴士可到，走時才見到。酒店附近冇餐廳，如果沒有訂早晚餐會很不便。自助早餐簡單但美味。酒店只有大浴場沒有私人家族風呂，帶大童不方便。房間設備很陳舊了，日式房放三張疊床已沒有什麼空間了。可能預設客人都去大浴場泡溫泉，房間沒有大毛巾提供。除了入房冲茶的職員態度冷淡外，其他人都很禮貌。

Has two indoor/outdoor onsen that they switch am/pm for men and woman. Older facilities that are showing its age. Nice view from our Japanese style room. Firm futons and pillows.

The Onsen waters are full of twigs leaves dead bugs and everything else. They don't clean it during the day or night. The hotels walls and rooms need a coat of paint badly. The futons are 100 years old and require new ones that are better in your back
