• Joni (8/5): - Jill was marvelous. Picked us up late at the airport and took us early to fly out. House is very nice. My husband fell and the stairs were a little difficult. Lots of dogs and rooster crowing early. Room was wonderful and very tastefully decorated. Jill was a pleasure!!
• Emily (2/5): - BEWARE I made a booking via Expedia and the property owner later informed me that there were no rooms available after our ferry had already landed in Mahe. We were stranded at the ferry terminal with no where to go at 10pm at night. I asked the owner to refund me and there has still been no refund issued!! Please check with them first before making a booking is my only advise!! This happened to us multiple times in Seychelles where property owners false advertised availability or rooms weren’t ready for us upon arrival.
• John (8/5): Nice place for an overnight - The place was large with nice views and super close to the airport. Not close to shopping so get your stuff before you get there. However the host offered to drive us for dinner, etc. and did provide a free transfer to the airport. Only two complaints. One is the air conditioning is only in the bedroom upstairs. It gets pretty hot downstairs. The other was that there was a used bar of soap in the shower and assorted left over toiletries in the bathroom. Also some leftover food in fridge. That’s a bit gross, but otherwise very clean and the hostess was super friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this place for a short stay and would revisit if I had an early flight out or late flight in for sure.

• Mark (10/5): - Clean property, friendly owner, near airport with pick up. Great place after long flight and have a first glimpse of Seychelles from garden/balcony. Colourful birds! Food trucks, supermarket and Indian curry house nearby. You will hear sometimes dogs barking in neighbourhood but it’s part of rural Seychelles.
• Dennis (10/5): - We needed a place to stay near Mahe airport prior to a 3:15 am flight. Touchdown Villa was the perfect choice. The villa is large and extremely comfortable. Jill, the owner was a great hostess, who made sure her property was well maintained, and who willingly drove us to the airport in the middle of the night. Highly recommend Touchdown Villa

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice villa and exceptionally clean. Bring ear plugs if barking dogs will bother you. Jill was very accommodating.
• Rajbir (8/5): Nice One Night Stay - Most friendly lady in a land of friendly people. Only stayed one night as had flight the next evening. Nice clean little house, with a well stocked kitchen, views of the runway and the ocean. TV had around 100 channels to choose from including Euro/US channels and shows. Only issues were being so close to the airport plane noise was to be expected, but as so few flights this wasn't really a problem. Secondly, the A/C unit was only in the bedroom, with only a single fan downstairs which was tucked into a corner of the living room. An A/C unit downstairs or at the very least a more central fan/ceiling fan would be great. Located up a steep hill, although airport pick up and drop off is included. By paying a little more we were able to extend check out time to late afternoon. Overall a lovely stay.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Just OK - Convenient because so close to the airport if you are leaving the next day. Fridge with leftover food. Mad dogs barking next door at sunset. Unbelievable steep road to get to the place, but that is common in Mahe.
• Verified traveler (8/5): OK for a night before an early flight. - Touchdown villa worked well for what we wanted....a single night before an early start at the airport. It has some lovely patio areas and it was great sitting out in the sun catching up on e-mails. The Wifi worked well. It's halfway up a steep hill so you need to be fit if you want to walk to the shop to pick up some supplies. But It's well equipped so I was able to cobble together a meal fairly easily. Downside......it's VERY noisy!! There were dogs barking, children [and adults!!] shouting, and planes landing and taking off. I'm not sure how close to a beach it is as we just wanted to chill out and catch up on e-mails before flying home Also, the fridge and cupboards had lots of leftover food in with the fridge in particular being a bit grubby so I didn't fancy using any of it. If food is left it needs to be dated.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Friendly owner. Close to airport. She gave us a lift to catch our flight as it is down a very steep hill. Nice views. Some noise from barking dogs in the night. Overall very good value for money.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Stayed for one night before flying out early. Jill was fabulous. She collected us from the ferry (for a fee) and dropped us at the airport early the next morning for free. This was so helpful as we had a lot of baggage. The house is up a very steep hill but without baggage it's walkable. We used the food shop at the bottom of the hill and walked back up fine. The house is spacious, very comfortable and has a lovely outdoor terrace. Kitchen is well equipped. As other guests have stated there are barking dogs next door and plane noise from the airport. Both stopped by midnight. Take your earplugs! The house is so convenient for the airport though, that these points can be overlooked. Excellent house and stay. Thank you Jill.

• Evan (10/5): Touchdown villa stay - A short stay over after flying from praslin with a connecting flight the next morning. Very close to the airport but up a steep hill. The owner was extremely nice and said she would have picked us up from the airport if we had messaged her beforehand. Dropped us off at the airport in the morning which was very nice of her. Very big villa all to ourselves with everything you could need.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - We were provided our room at noon, although we made a last minute booking the previous night and we believe it was not picked up by Jill due to internet connection issues. The room was very clean and spacious. Jill made great effort to ensure we had a comfortable stay, although the previous guests stay had been extended Upto 3.30 PM. We stayed only for a few hours as we were in transit.

• Verified traveler (10/5): A nice vacation villa for a family - The Touchdown Villa is a very good family home for four or five family members. The villa is located very near to the airport and very much clean and well-organized. The kitchen and the bathrooms are wonderful. You can enjoy the view with sea and the airplanes too! It is a nice family villa for long stay during your next vacation. As the villa is located on a hill and the location is a bit far from beaches and main attractions of Seychells, you'd better to rent a car to go there and a bit of driving skill is necessary. Except that, the villa is one of the best places I've ever stayed. The hospitality from the owner, Jill, is a nice addition. Thank you.
• Richard (10/5): Very nice stay - Great rental, entire house is at your disposal. If you contact the landlord in advance Jill will arrange you get picked up from the airport and taken to the hotel (free of charge).
• Verified traveler (6/5): Nice Villa near the airport - Jill was a very nice host and provided a good explanation of the villa and local area. Jill also provided pickup and drop-off to the airport. We did visit the day before Christmas so there were many festive activities that were occurring between 8pm and 4am.
