- Chadwin (9/5): - The room was clean and spacious, in close proximity to where we wanted to be, the hotel is located close to restaurants and bars if you'd like, the ratanga park area is walker friendly and felt safe. The bathroom did not have a magnifying makeup mirror. There should be a light above the long mirror, lighting wasn't that great in the room.

- phumelela2026 (10/5): The Best Hotel Ever! I'm Completely Blown Away. - From the design to the overall customer service... My stay was absolutely amazing. I felt like royalty. I'm happy with how the staff showed up. They were friendly and helpful. One main thing that blew my mind was how the hotel smelled Devine. They took things up a notch. Everything was so lovely and stunning. I'm definitely coming back soon.

The aircons need an instruction on how to operate them, stayed a good hour or so in a very hot room with the aircon not functioning properly. Bathroom lighting could be a bit brighter as thats where one would prefer to get ready at with make up and all

- Olavi2026 (10/5): Living up to your repuatation - I know it's cliché to say this, but the hotel smells great, instantly calming you down the moment you enter the large the doors. The front desk staff and restaurant staff are really amazing at what they do, not only do they make you feel welcomed, but also make sure that you get your money's worth during the stay. The hotel is located in peaceful, yet somehow vibrant area, you know you are in Cape Town, yet secluded from bustle and rush of Cape Town. Wondeful place.

Despite initially thinking the hotel would feel more corporate or business-focused, it had a homely, holiday-like atmosphere with thoughtful themes throughout. The staff were outstanding, Renato, Hotel Manager, went above and beyond, and Enoch, Sommelier, delivered a perfectly balanced, insightful, and fun wine tasting. The front desk was warm and welcoming, ensuring we always knew where to go and what to do. The food and beverages were excellent, thoughtfully prepared and well-portioned. Overall, it was an exceptional stay in every way.

Very good location if attending a conference at the linked conference centre and walking distance to everything that you may need in a very good area. Don’t book through Booking.com. It is almost impossible to obtain an invoice for the stay. The hotel reception simply says that they cannot issue invoices for bookings made through Booking.com. The online invoice request link on the Booking.com app does not work and getting a response from any Booking.com customer platform is a huge frustration. Booking.com simply ignores customers.

Unfortunately, the hotel was not flexible in offering a partial refund or accommodating a reschedule for a near date. While the facilities were satisfactory, we believe the customer service could be more responsive and supportive in handling such situations.

The hotel has no cupboards for your clothes, and no area to work in. This seemed to be a 3 star hotel. 4 Star then compare to THE PRESIDENT. The whole room felt wrong, and which fool puts a kettle and cups for coffee or tea in the drawer. What a fire hazard.

I had to use "roaming" all week for the iPhone and workarounds were spotty for the laptop and world work in the conference center next door. Electronic communications. Spotty re-supply of Nespresso pods. Desk chair.

When we needed to extend our stay at the Hotel, the first day seemed to be fully booked. Your staff Kelvin and a lady on duty assisted to extend our stay, for are very grateful for that. When we were in the lobby, a number of people came to the Hotel. I was not very comfortable with some of the people coming into the Restaurant, the young stars looked thuggish and I hope the hotel can restrict entry to avoid insecurity.

- Tory (5/5): Pleasant except for very loud music at night. - The location is convenient and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable. It was VERY noisy at night - the music from a nearby venue was so loud I was convinced our window must be open, but it wasn't. We were there on a Saturday night. When I called down to reception to ask if they had earplugs and/or could address the music the receptionist said they didn't have earplugs, but would ask their security staff to go to their neighbours to ask whether the music could be turned down. He said otherwise the music usually quietens down around midnight. I think this noise issue should be disclosed to guests before they book, if this is a regular occurrence.

Otherwise Century City Hotel Urban Square is safe and lovely to stay I enjoyed my morning run so refreshing.

The rooms are clean with comfortable beds. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Nothing, this was my second time staying at the hotel. Last time i was here, i mentioned that the rooms did not have a fridge. I was told, a fridge is available on request and this time around i requested a fridge and it was given to us. So everything was perfect.
