The balcony glass was severely cracked in several places and would not have wanted children out there. Was worried my husband would fall as he has dementia. Very well equipped with everything you could possibly want.

Close access to the swimming pools,a short walk through a gate to the beach and the walkway promenade.
Brilliant location to the shops, restaurant and Orange Square.
Keys were left at reception for us as we had a late arrival,which was very helpful.
Loved our short break here and would stay again. ❤️ Nothing

We stay for three months Feb,March and April. We love the location, easy walking distance to the old town, shopping, beach and an array of amazing shops and restaurants. Skol has so many repeat customers from all over the world and we are the Canadian group. Every year there are at least 25 of us who stay at skol from three weeks to three months. Our booking agents are Daniela and Vincenzo and are always there to help, in fact we have been going to Skol for so long now that they are more like our Spanish cousins. We had a fab apt. this year, east facing over the harbour and Med. but also views of the Sierra Blanca. The gardens are beautifully manicured and the sunbeds are only three euros a day. Lots of things to do in Marbella thats why we keep going back year after year.

Ce prendre 2 contravention à 50€ cela fait un peut mal au portefeuille, c’est le seul points négatifs.

Any additional questions eg Wifi code, were answered immediately.
There were more than enough sunbeds arounds the selection of pools, and there was even a poolside cafe! Nothing - the apartment was excellent value for money.
We had the most relaxing time.
We were able to walk to the old town within 10 minutes and to everywhere else even quicker!

- Salim (1/5): Séjour complètement gâché par la présence de cafards et le fait que le propriétaire nous fasse passer pour des menteurs - Très bon emplacement. Nous avons loué cet appartement pour 15 jours en famille avec de jeunes enfants, et avons été confrontés à une infestation de cafards dès le début du séjour : dans la cuisine, dans le tiroir à couverts (avec présence d’œufs), et même un cafard retrouvé dans mon café.
Malgré nos signalements répétés, le propriétaire n’a pas apporté de solution efficace. Pire encore, il a insinué que nous exagérions pour obtenir une réduction, ce qui est totalement faux. À 3 jours de la fin du séjour, il nous a proposé de partir avec nos 3 enfants en bas âge, sans solution alternative ni compensation.
Aucune remise ni geste commercial n’a été proposé, malgré l’insalubrité évidente du logement. Une expérience très désagréable que je ne souhaite à personne.
- Aleksandra (2/5): i would not recommend this place to anybody untill the owners take some money and invest in it again - only location. is very good apartment is awful, dirty, old, not renovated, super small for 3 adults, devices are out of order, washing machine and the drying machine are dirty, smelly and full of dust (dryer). Kitchen devices not working, living room size for 2 peple at the most! AND BEDROOMS - shame on you with advertisement for 3 bedrooms... these are not rooms, at the best they are submarine capsules!!! The beds are broken...

Kunne veksle mellom å være ved bassenget og på stranden. Det meste var veldig bra. 🙂Litt vanskelig innsjekk, da vi ikke snakket spansk og resepsjon ikke snakket engelsk. …og vi var litt tidlig med innsjekking.

En een heel mooi zwembad met de mogelijkheid te douchen en toiletten als je later vliegt. En de mogelijkheid om je koffers te stallen. Taxi was zo geregeld. Onze studio lag aan een parkje met festiviteiten. Een rolluik wat het geluid buiten houdt was de eerste dag al meteen kapot en is tijdens ons verblijf niet meer gerepareerd. Een gedeelte lag al buiten op het balkon, de rest viel naar binnen toen we het bedienden.

Nous avons l'habitude de venir à Skol. Peut-être il faudrait mettre des rideaux Black out dans la chambre à coucher et fournir deux serviettes mains et parterre pour les séjours Dr plus de 3 jours

- christywatling (4/5): Positives and negatives - Positives - location is brilliant, walking distance to the restaurants, bars, supermarkets and your right on the beach, the Italian down the road is amazing bonou it was called.
Positives - the complex and apartment is very clean. You constantly see the cleaners cleaning the reception area.
Negatives - we were apartment 108 and the music from the Irish bar underneath is very noisy and on until late.
Negatives - the pools don’t get sun on them until 1 pm so if you want a good spot you need to get down there at 7am and que until 9 am when they open to pay for your mattress. This causes a lot of arguments in the morning with people pushing in.
Negatives - I came back to the room one day and found a maintenance man working in the bathroom. I called Daniele to say please could you give me a heads up next time as sometimes my children chill in the room. She said she would do that and was unaware maintenance was entering the room. 2 days later my son was chilling in the room and phoned me panicked that three men were downstairs. He had cut his foot open and was on crutches so was u able to get to the door. My husband ran upstairs and told the maintenance men you should or arranged this with us or let us know. My son was really scared! They siliconed a tiny patch in the bathroom I’m not sure why three of them needed to attend. I called Daniele and told her this had upset me as I don’t want strange men in my apartment with my kids inside. She told me they have a right to enter whenever they want without letting me know. I find this unacceptable, we would have allowed them in anytime but I would have liked a heads up to make sure my child was not in the room on there own.
Negative - my child cut his foot really bad on the ping pong table, I asked security do they have a medical kit he said no and walked away. I ran to the life guard who looked at the cut which was quite bad and needed stitches he looked at the cut and started shaking and couldn’t even put the cleaner on it and gave it to my husband, I would of thought a life guard would of been able to deal with this clearly not.

- O3035GPkristinah (10/5): Fabulous apartments in an amazing location - our third time staying here. - We recently stayed at Skol for the third time. We don’t normally return to the same place/apartment but there’s something very special about Marbella and Skol apartments which has made us happy to return each year. The apartment block is in a perfect location - right by the promenade and nearby to lots of nice restaurants, shops and cafes. The apartment itself was clean and spacious. The balconies are a real joy to us - both have the most magnificent views, they really do take your breath away. The apartment block itself is well maintained with lots of amenities. The only thing to highlight was the need to queue early for a sun lounger - these are available from 9am daily but we realised people started to queue from 8am to purchase this and to ensure a good spot - though to be honest there are many loungers and most areas get the sun all day. We also overheard other guests say that people from outside the apartments were using the loungers which was a little frustrating as these are for residents only. The onsite cafe is perfect to pick up a drink or snack and the staff on reception at the apartments are really nice and they’re always on hand to assist. If you’re considering visiting Skol, we would urge you to do so. You will not be disappointed. We can’t wait to come back again!

Upon arrival, we immediately discovered that one of the beds was broken, which forced my husband to sleep on the sofa for one night — during a trip we had planned to celebrate our wedding anniversary, after a 7-hour drive. A fix was only provided late into the stay, by which time the damage was already done.
The most concerning issue was the attitude of the property manager, Daniela. Instead of being understanding or supportive, she made serious accusations and showed a complete lack of empathy. The way she treated us — as if we were inventing the problem or trying to cause trouble — was shocking. We honestly felt like we might be dealing with a scam-like situation.
Another important point: the apartment you see in the photos may not be the one you get. Daniela manages several units in the same building, and it is never clearly stated which one you're actually booking. This leads to disappointment as soon as you check in.
Furthermore, although pool access is mentioned as a feature, you must rent a sunbed to use it — this is mandatory, and not clearly stated anywhere. Contrary to older reviews saying it's 2€ per day, the cost in 2025 is now 3€ per day, making the stay more expensive than expected.
We have always trusted Booking.com for our travels, and we hope this review helps future guests make more informed decisions — and that the platform takes appropriate action regarding the manager’s conduct.

My husband & I stayed in 328C which was perfect for us both.
From the initial request for information, the team at Skol Apartments Marbella Holidays were proactive, positive and helpful. In particular, Daniela. From booking the apartment, answering our many queries with patience, to booking numerous transfers, all done in a professional manner. Once there, any questions or any little issue (we couldn't find a pole to lower canopy on patio) were answered very promptly and positively.
The apartment we stayed at was very good. A kitchen with full oven/hob, dishwasher and washing machine we're a bonus. We didn't use them as we were there for a short period but for an extended stay it would be helpful to have them. The cupboards with Delph are high and so for short people like us (under 5'9) once we had what me needed we just left them down!
The bathroom had been modernised and shower was a walk in unit, great pressure & plenty of hog water. Hairdryer supplied, a nice touch.
Bedroom was 2 single beds and good wardrobe space.
Patio was small but perfect for us two, got the sun in the morning and had a canopy that could be lowered to create shade.
And the location..... perfect. Front row on beach.
We had one small issue in that as early as 08.30/09.00 sunbeds would all be booked by residents placing towels on them, but nobody on the beds until later in the morning. I guess this is common but it's the first time we were unable to occupy sunbeds earlier in the day during our stay.
Three pools, one for very small children, one for older with differing depths and then one with a 2m depth throughout. Spotlessly clean. Pool side cafe was a good to have also.
All in all an excellent location to stay. Restaurants, cafes, bars etc plentiful within minutes walking suitable for all ages, and welcoming of large groups too. Old town about a 15-20 minute walk.
Beach literally out the gate, across the boardwalk.
If we're ever back to Marbella we'll book into Skol and have no hesitation in recommending.

The bad. The more it rained, the stronger the sewer smell in the apartment. Management offered air fresheners.
The building is 50 years old and infrastructure in decline.
The apartment was grubby and also in need of an upgrade. Toilet and dishwasher both failed during our stay.
Partial refund suggestion did not materialize.
For prospective guests. Ensure it’s an upgraded apartment, and don’t stay in 716a if it rains, unless you bring a clothes peg.
