We had our dog with us and were all made very welcome in this lovely clean and friendly B&B. The room had a lovely view. Breakfast was superb, much more than your usual continental style, and the owners were very friendly and helpful.
- Pauline (10/5): We’ll definitely be returning to Greenbank Farm! - Green bank Farm is a 20 minute walk downhill into Cartmel village and has stunning scenic views from the front garden. We received a very warm, lovely welcome from the owner on our arrival & she provided a delicious continental breakfast during our stay - so many different fruits, croissants, rolls and a really tasty Bavarian donker bread that she told us was from a baker’s shop in Grange over Sands.......we went there later to buy a loaf to bring home because we enjoyed it so much. The farmhouse is one of character, the beds and pillows in our well equipped bedroom were very comfortable and we were in the Paddock Room which overlooked a stable where a Shetland Pony was resident. In that room you have to share the spacious bathroom with the owner which was no problem at all for us. We will be returning again, having obtained the Cartmel Race dates for next year from Greenbank Farm’s owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here to others.
