• Gaetane (9/5): Quelques jours de rêve , un peu hors du temps … - Au bord de mer!!! Prendre son excellent petit déjeuner face à la mer était juste l’idéal pour commencer la journée ! Le restaurant était juste parfait! Il y en a beaucoup d’autres tout autour. À 2km du centre « Le Grand Large », donc 25 minutes à pied… mais la promenade était hyper agréable, d’autant plus qu’il y avait du soleil!

• Robin (7/5): Lovely St Malo stay - We loved the location on the waterfront, access to the promenade. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking good.Access to onsite restaurant which runs independently was good for dinner. Bathroom tiny , not a problem for us but maybe for others.

• Gary (10/5): Great location, great hotel, and a great staff - Great location, well-maintained property, and an incredibly accommodating staff. My only “complaints,” (which aren’t really complaints), is the tight parking and the lack of a lift in the hotel. Recognizing this is an older, beach-front hotel, that wasn’t unexpected, (and we knew there was no lift when we reserved the room), so it did not take anything away from our opinion. Overall, a great experience on a beautiful property.

Accès direct à la plage. Un peu loin de la citadelle à pieds (mais l'avantage est que la zone est de fait plus calme).

• Marina (9/5): Super séjour de quelques jours - Superbe vue sur la plage, jolie bâtisse. L'hôtel est pourvu d'un bon restaurant. Le personnel est très sympathique. St-Malo Intramuros est accessible à pied par la digue comme en bus. Le buffet du petit déjeuner propose en partie des produits bio. Si vous avez de la chance les dauphins viendront vous saluer par la baie vitrée et vous pourrez les observer avec les jumelles à disposition. Le bâtiment historique craque sous les pas.

• Abdou-Salam (9/5): Parfait - Dès l'accueil, nous avons eu droit à toutes les informations nécessaires pour un bon séjour : - les communes à visiter (Dinard, Cancale entre autres) vu que nous étions véhiculés, - les restos à faire en attendant celui de l'hôtel réouvre le 01 avril. - comment rejoindre la vieille ville - etc Le parking de l'hôtel est privatif et il faut réserver à l'avance. La chambre était bien, le lit très moelleux et confortable. La présence d'une bouilloire avec des sachets de thés était bien appréciable. La douche est un peu petite, mais normale au vu de la taille du bâtiment. La pression d'eau était très bonne (nous étions au 2e étage). Le petit dej est assez varié et correct. Nous aurions aimés un peu plus de choix salés comme les oeufs brouillés. L'hôtel est placé devant la plage du Sillon. On peut rejoindre la vieille-ville( intra-muros) en 30 min à pied en longeant la plage. Malheureusement il faisait un peu froid et nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la plage ni de la terrasse du resto. Mais nous nous sommes promis de revenir quand il fera meilleur. Comme je l'ai dit plus haut, nous avons visiter Dinard et Cancale sous les conseils de l'hôtel. C'était une très bonne chose car cela nous permis d'enrichir un peu plus notre visite de la région. Pour finir, nous avons dîné au resto de l'hôtel pour notre dernier soir. C'était le 1er jour de la réouverture du resto et je peux dire que nous avons aimé y manger. Pour conclure, je vous conseille sans hésiter les Charmettes. Vous y passerez un bon séjour à coup sûr. • Suzanna (10/5): Great place with private parking - Great place with quite a few parking spaces (book in advance especially in high season). Parking felt safe for motorcycles as away from the road. Fabulous location about 25min walk along the promenade to the old town. Right on the beach. Comfortable room with a good shower and the best hair dryer I’ve had in a place to stay so far! Decent tea and coffee making facilities. Very friendly staff.
