• Raul (10/5): Excelente estancia - El personal siempre está atentos a lo que puedes necesitar, súper atentos. Las instalaciones son súper cómodos y tienes todo a mano, no te preocupas por nada por tu en tu estancia.
• Lena (10/5): Perfekte Erholung nach Abenteuertrip durch Peru - Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum direkt am Strand mit nur 6 oder 7 Zimmern hat man hier echte Privatsphäre. Vom Pool aus kann man direkt aufs Meer schauen und einfach nur genießen. Die Liegen am Strand sind komfortabel und sehr schön. Wenn man mag kann man Massagen, einen privaten Spa oder aber ein romantisches Dinner am Strand buchen. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Hier muss man sich einfach wohlfühlen. Hier gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Aber vielleicht der Hinweis, das rund herum eigentlich nur andere Hotels und kaum Restaurants sind. Bis zum nächsten Supermarkt/ Restaurant sind es ca. 2,5 Kilometer.

El hotel es muy lindo, y desde nuestra llegada nos dieron kit de bienvenida con detalles muy útiles para la estadía, las comidas (no incluidas) son exquisitas, junto con los tragos también. Lo mejor: su vista. Espectacular. Solo por buscar algo que podrían mejorar, el pan del desayuno no era tan bueno como el resto de las comidas, y podría ser más variado el desayuno también.

Patricia, la administradora, es especialmente destacable: amable, cercana, muy atenta y siempre pendiente de cada detalle, lo que hizo posible un relajo total durante toda la estadía. También quiero destacar el servicio de Pedro, Fernando, Jonh y Jorge: siempre atentos a cualquier necesidad, muy educados y con una disposición increíble. Highly recommended for total relaxation. The place could do with a thorough cleaning session and a new paint job is long overdue. Aircondition needs maintenance.

The state of the hotel was pretty bad. The picture probably reflect the property years ago. The property has not been properly maintained with no proper daily cleaning. A full daily cleaning should be included with towels and bed linen changed. The floors were filthy, the kitchen accessories in needs for refresh, widows absolutely filthy and let’s not talk about the private pool not maintained or cleaned once in a week

La atención del personal y la dueña es excelente, todo el equipo hace lo maximo para solucionar cualquier necesidad y tienen un montón de detalles y cortesías. No teníamos mas días libres, pero me hubiera quedado un par de semanas para desconectar de todo.... El precio es un poco elevado, pero ver saltar las ballenas desde la piscina infinity mientras te tomas un pisco sour bien lo vale.
• Rossotto (9/5): inolvidable siestas frente al mar con exquisitos libros y frazadita - En Mancora no hay bancos ni ATMs y pocos lugares tienen postnet por lo cual debíamos cambiar dolar billete por soles todo el tiempo. Un día nos quedamos sin soles y la conserje nos prestó 15 soles para ir en taxi al pueblo. Nosotras queríamos ir caminando pero ella dijo que mejor nos prestaba dinero porque a pie eran como 40 minutos de caminata. Ese foco en el huesped ME DERRITIÓ el cocinero no interpretó la cocción huevo poché.

La salida a la playa super accesible y la cantidad de parejas en el hotel hacía una atención bastante personalizada. El aire acondicionado del cuarto no enfriaba, se notaba que no le hacian buen mantenimiento. Es imposible tener un A/C asi en un destino de playa con tanto calor. El cuarto me pareció muy pequeño, y la cama muy baja. Creo que por lo que se paga, se podría tener algo mejor.

• Joseags14 (9/5): One of the best private/boutique hotels at Mancora area - I liked the boutique style of the hotel knowing that this was a private hotel with 8 rooms, therefore service is very exclusive and fast. Food was delicious, staff very polite and talkative. Just to clear it up, this is a adults only hotel. Breakfast started at 9am, maybe this could be improve because many clients wants to eat early morning. Also was the same breakfast for all days, so no much diversity on that one. Housekeeping was good just time to time there were overstaffed at cleaning.

El lugar es muy muy pequeño, es bonito pero pequeño Las habitacion que nos toco muy chica, no podia ni caminar por la parte de adelante, me golpe varias veces, mucha terraza y habitacion chica, incomodo. Desayuno es incomodo, no es buffet debes pedir cada cosa, y pedir, no es un un desayuno para un hotel de esta categoria. Deberia ser buffet

The little extras in the room were amazing including these great robes, I want one for home. The private beach area was great and the service from Jorge and Pedro was amazing. We loved the food too and variety of menus and some days we got little free drinks or food tasters. Maybe my favourite hotel I've ever stayed in. The breakfast is nice however it can get a bit samey due to little variety

Especially Jorge and Diana the manager. Felt very welcome and taken care of the whole time. The food was amazing too. A must to do the couples massage experience with sauna and hot tub and champagne. Such a wonderful experience with Rosa and Clara. The beach is perfect as it’s one of best places to swim in ocean in the entire los Positas beach. Master suite was spacious and breakfast was also wonderful in the room each morning. The games provided was fun too. They really think of everything and timing on cleaning and everything was always spot on. Showers nice and hot and rain shower head was great. Clean, spacious room too. They could change out the doors or frames. They do not match the feel of this place. They paint everything and there is some peeling. Could use new paint in a few areas. Minor considering everything so well done and appointed. The town of Marcon is a 15 minute bumpy ride to town. The town is very run down. No reason to even go to town. The town is a mess. Staying at the hotel for everything is best. Went to town for a few necessities. Don’t bother unless you need something. The refrigerator was removed from room. Would have been nice to put a few things in a refrigerator. Only complaint really. As. They wanted you to buy everything at restaurant. Which was reasonable considering. And food great. But occasionally you want to put water or something to stay cold in a refrigerator.
• Iain (9/5): Excellent boutique hotel with next-to-none service - Out of the way location so not easy to get to but worth the time taken - small (7 rooms) hotel right on the beach. The staff were excellent and service could not be faulted. Some lovely little extra touches each day (hand made chocolate eggs in room over Easter for example). Great massage! Long way from airport by taxi - but worth it.
• César (9/5): Superb - Everything: the hotel, staff, food, drink, beach. Excellent boutique hotel, very private and comfortable. Excellent for 1000% relaxation. I had the opportunity to try the food, drinks and massages. Everything was up to what we expected. From the massage room the view of the sea is great. My room had direct access to the sea.

They go the extra mile to make it special like champagne when you arrive, complementary hand dyed pareos, they even give each room games and cards. They have AC and smart TVs that work really well. All the food we ate here was great from ceviche and tiradito to chocolate lava cakes. They also are super helpful making dinner reservations in town, getting you a motor taxi when you need it, and they to above and beyond at every point in time. Overall it was an amazing place to relax. The suites aren’t very large so 2 adults and 3 bags (1 large suitcase and 2 carry on size bags) felt a bit cramped at times, but it’s minor.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, always thinking ahead to meet our needs. When one of us fell ill, they promptly offered us a different room to ensure our comfort. They also printed our return tickets, and we were warmly welcomed and bid farewell. The hotel itself is a showcase of tasteful design and attention to detail. The rooms are beautiful and impeccably clean. The massage we received was an unforgettable experience—definitely worth trying! Additionally, the view from the hotel is breathtaking, with whales swimming by and the constant soothing sound of the ocean in the background. The food was outstanding, from breakfast to lunch to dinner. Every dish was carefully prepared and delicious. In short, if you’re looking for a special place to completely unwind, DCO Hotel in Mancora is the perfect choice. It might take some travel to get there, but it’s absolutely worth it!
