- Arna (9/5): Very nice location in Mexico City - Nice place to stay!
- Abigail (8/5): -
- EVGENIIA (10/5): -
- John (10/5): Great location, wonderful staff, and excellent suite. - The location, the staff and the suite were all fantastic. Nothing
- Alejandro (9/5): -
- Alicia (10/5): We were very happy with our stay. - We enjoyed the friendly staff, pool/jacuzzi, and spacious apartment with washer and dryer. Breakfast was just okay but nice that the option is there. The neighborhood is lovely but it can take a little longer to get to some places.
- Lereesa (9/5): - Great size apartment in a great location in polanco. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes on the doorstep. We were provided with a high chair in the apartment and a cot which was very helpful for the baby. The breakfast selection was disappointing given how nice everything else was.
- twbowyer (6/5): Nice location, space not heated, included breakfast was not good - Pros: Nice neighborhood, close to park and weekend market. Safe. Spacious room, amenities such as refrigerator, washing machine etc. Easy to communicate with desk via WhatsApp. Purified water available to fill containers.
Cons: No heat or AC in main living space and small heaters available. It was very cold a few days. Coffee in room is not replenished (Coffee is available for very limited hours in lobby). Fixtures in bathroom, kitchen area, were loose and need to be tightened. No balcony for room 103 despite misleading photos. Pool and hottub closed without notice. Lighting in main space was too low - it was dark most of the time. Included breakfast was really substandard options and quality, and so should be not advertised or improved.
Side note: Was told to leave room at noon after agreeing with desk for 1pm checkout due to a booked massage lasting until 1pm. Therefore, no shower available after the massage.

- Karen (10/5): - The apartment was modern, super clean, well equipped and large, with daily service. Location was central, with loads of cafes and restaurants and very safe. Excellent coffee just across the road. Security was exceptional and door was opened when we were merely 5 metres away. Gym was well equipped and excellent for the size of the property. It was winter so the pool was covered, but tables outside had beautiful fresh flowers every day. I rarely write reviews but felt this property deserved a mention.
- Jorge (9/5): - Noise of a water pump
- ANTONELLA (9/5): Adorei!! Vista maravilhosa e vale super à pena ficar para ir jantar no hotel The Vines. - O local é muito bonito, café maravilhoso e a vista é incrível!! A limpeza do banheiro poderia um pouco melhor.
- Maria Lourdes (8/5): Very secure, central to the area. Our room was exceptionally clean, and the ammenities are good. - The location was great, friendly staff. The breakfast was not to our liking.
- Jeanne (10/5): All the comfort of your own apartment with the convenience of a hotel. - The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff was lovely. The pool and hot tub are in a beautiful, quiet garden in the back. As other have said, the hotel coffee was not good. But there is a coffee maker in the room and an excellent coffee place right across the street.
- GHANDOURY (9/5): wonderfull place & staff. - Amazing place & location very safe . Breakfast was not what I expected , very limited opions is not worth to pay for .
- V8156TLchristopherb (10/5): Perfect base for exploring the best of Mexico City - We really enjoyed our stay at Dominion Polanco. Our apartment was great - lots of room, great air conditioning in the bedrooms, bathrooms (and bathrobes!) were nice. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking.
The Nespresso coffee maker was frustrating. Success rate with that was about 50%. Trivial thing was being charged for pods. And the espresso machine in the lobby was not available early in the morning.
We never had breakfast at Dominion Polanco, but there is a great cafe just across the street, Biscottino Coffee. We went there every morning.
The neighborhood is very safe. Great restaurants and a good walk to Chapultepec Park, museums, and La Condesa and Roma are a good walk too.
Very safe. Great place to start an adventure through Mexico City.
So, aside from minor complaints about early morning access to coffee :) We had a great stay and will return with friends.
- Krista (7/5): Convenient location and spacious apartment. - The hotel is in a great location. It’s quiet but surrounded by restaurants. Easy to get to lots of places on foot. The apartments are very spacious. The pool was lovely and walk which the kids enjoyed at the end of a day sightseeing. It feels more like a serviced apartment than a hotel. It would be helpful to have a mini bar in the fridge for example - we arrived late in the evening and it’s not possible to get a drink. The breakfast is very average and not level with the quality of the apartments and the price.
- Janet (9/5): This hotel met our needs perfectly. - There was plenty of space for 3 friends to spread out. The pool area was beautiful and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped, although we didn’t cook any meals. The breakfast was fine.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The neighborhood is very nice. The police presence seemed excessive. It is difficult to get to other parts of the city as the traffic is incredibly bad, but that’s not the hotel’s fault! It is easy to walk to the Museum of Anthropology and the Castillo.
- jorge (10/5): Very pleased. - The location is perfect. the breakfast could improve as well as the internet.
- Diane (10/5): -
- Yang (9/5): -
- Katherine (10/5): - Large space, laundry machine in the 2 bedroom suite
- Chacko (8/5): Overall a great experience. Staff was super friendly, responsive, and accomodating. - Very spacious and clean. 24 hour security. Breakfast included was not the best. Espresso machine produced watery coffee options.
- Ana Cecilia (10/5): -
- Elizabeth (7/5): It was good but the breakfast and the fact that they put me next to a party /event was very unprofessional of their - It is clean, private and the rooms are big with many facilities featuring washer, dryer, dish washer, etc. They decided to have an event private party in the suite next door. When I call and complain they said that they told them they can party until 10:00pm. I needed to wake up at 2;00am the next morning for a flight. If they knew that they were going to have a party why they put me next door to it???
- mark (10/5): Highly recommend - Loved it. Perfect place to stay in Polanco. Nothing
- Jorge J. (4/5): - Staff (except por a couple of the) wasn’t as nice as our stay in march. The manager wasn’t diligent and didn’t show any interest in accommodating us in any way.
The hotel areas are very nice and clean in general. The area is perfect. Very nice, quiet and safe.
- Victoria (10/5): -
- Mayra (10/5): I would re visit.recommend - Felt safe, and very comfortable. Enjoy the daily free breakfast and love the location. Recommend 2 bedrooms apartment
- Felipe (10/5): -
- Diego (10/5): - Nice area and good facilities. Good attention as well
- Sharon (10/5): Very comfortable and terrific location, with the heated pool being a great asset! - The location was fabulous. Very close to Parque Lincoln and an easy walk to wonderful restaurants and shops. We loved the heated pool which was perfect for our grandchildren to use in the afternoon. The temperature of the pool was lovely and warm with the hot tub at one end. The breakfast was also very good with fresh choices each morning. However also great breakfast options close by so we mixed it up. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I cannot think of anything. We were super happy. Will definitely book again.
- Miguel Angel (10/5): Tranquilidad a y confort - El apartamento muy cómodo y limpio. Buena ubicación
- Allison (10/5): -
- Daydream50594059419 (10/5): Definitely a home away from home! - I stayed at Dominion for almost two months on a work trip with family, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. The staff were amazing—super friendly and always ready to help—big kudos to the whole team for making us feel so welcome. The apartments have all the space and comfort you need, with a full kitchen and washer/dryer that really make life easier. And the gym? Way better than most hotels. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Mexico City!
- Dan (9/5): This was the perfect home base for our family’s exploration on Mexico City! - The breakfast was good with some rotation daily. The only point that needs some updating is there is only one person working the breakfast area and sometimes she had a hard time keeping up with the demand.
The staff was great, super attentive. The pool facility was heated which was a nice touch.
- Nuno (7/5): - Location and space - the second bedroom has no light
- poor breakfast choice
- Irina (10/5): - Location
- Rosario (10/5): Edtupenda! - Todo Desayuno malito, pero compramos cosas ricas y tomamos en el departamento
- Gustavo (10/5): - Excelente lugar y amplia comodidad
- Neha (8/5): - Loved this hotel. It was in a quiet neighborhood that was still close to great food and very walkable to shopping etc. only issue is it was hard to get warm water to shower. We asked them to fix it one of the days and it seemed to be fixed for one shower but this caused some stress for us. If they permanently fixed this, we'd give this 5 stars for sure!
- Jochen (10/5): -
- Tonna (10/5): Excellent location and pleasant staff. - A great neighborhood and you could walk everywhere, including museums, restaurants, etc.
- Diana (6/5): If you want space and great location, this is it. However, i would manage expectations for everything else - The space and location were both excellent. Noise level for those staying on first floor is tough and we are not light sleepers. A lot of things didn’t work or weren’t in our room but were available in other rooms.
Breakfast was mediocre, constantly running out of food and service is slow. It seems there was only 1 staff preparing everything for breakfast so this needs to be addressed. The placement of toasters are also strange, as it’s super high so great if you’re tall but not if you’re short.
- Jacklyn (10/5): - Excellent location and awesome accommodations. Great recommendation for a family.
- Gina (10/5): We will return! - Omg everything luxurious apartment and neighborhood N/a
- Jessica (10/5): - The property is very secure they have doormen checking everyone’s entry. The surrounding area is great lots of walkable restaurants and entertainment. It was all around great if I may suggest softer beds but that’s just a personal preference.
- sisterbay716 (10/5): Perfect Stay in CDMX - Dominion Polanco was the perfect place to stay in Mexico City. Staff are friendly (with exception of one of the breakfast workers, who isn't). Doormen instantly open the door when you come and go, which is never, ever a problem and is in fact very welcome. There's no lobby (this is a corporate apartment, not a hotel) but the doormen are there 24 hours and the office staff is there during the day to do things like check you in/out or store your luggage. Breakfast is in a cute breakfast area (about 12 tables) and the food was good (fruit, bread, chilaquiles or scrambled eggs, espresso machine for coffee). Location is absolutely perfect -- quick walk to many great restaurants and shopping. Also very quick walk to the national auditorium for events, Parque Lincoln, and about 10 min walk to Chapultepec. I was able to use Uber Eats for a delivery one night with no problem. Our unit, 2 bed 2 bath on the 5th floor with a balcony, had a spectacular kitchen and living area. Everything was in top shape except a slightly sagging sofa (it was a sofa bed) and decor was up-to-date. Cleaning was very good -- a daily service. I would stay here again for sure, renting the same 2/2 apartment. Of course the smaller ones could be different, but our was amazing.
If you're planning on using public transportation this place probably isn't your best choice. We Ubered/Didied or walked everywhere. Traffic is terrible as there is almost constant gridlock. Not a big deal for me since I wasn't driving, but I would not have wanted a car here.
- Carlos (10/5): - Great place for business or family.
- Ana (10/5): Comfortable and safe, walk to anywhere in Polanco - Excellent location, friendly staff, great heated swimming pool. Very comfortable apartments. The cleaning staff for the apartments didn’t vacuum thoroughly but otherwise it was fantastic.
- Susan (8/5): Very good -
- Jamie (10/5): I would definitely stay again, the suite was spacious, clean and nothing beats the location!! - The property was amazing and the location was incredible. We had a two bedroom suite.. which was clean and spacious. The security was so nice and friendly. The breakfast… need some more options. One day was just potatoes, beans and a sauce . Toasters were not for commercial
Use and took forever. Also they are very strict about check in and check out.. we got there 20 minutes early and they wanted to charge us for early check in.
- Lauren (10/5): Absolutely love the neighborhood at Polanco and would 10 out of 10. Stay here again. - It was a beautiful property , the location was amazing. The staff was amazing. The rooms and the suites were so big. It was quiet. We went as a family so there was plenty of space and highly recommend for families. We got really sick and the staff were very accommodating, the cleaning service was impeccable and they really helped us out. Loved all
- Fred (6/5): Pleasant - Prime location in polanco perfect spot. Excellent security, nice rooms but there's flaws It's quite pricey, the breakfast is pretty basic, and stingy they put out one small yogurt at a time, there were things unattended like shampoos not filled, no paper towels or napkins in the kitchen, which is very minimally furnished.
The hotel has a design flaw, the master bedrooms are right on the walkway, which is next to the pool in a self-contained small area, so people bring their children who run around screaming all day which can be heard everywhere in the hotel. People checking out at 4:00 in the morning rolling their luggage and talking woke us up. I guess it's okay if you've got loud screaming children, otherwise may consider elsewhere
- temc2025 (10/5): Grateful for the wonderful stay and excellent services provided. - We would not think twice to return to Dominion Polanco.
The service we received especially from mrs Ana was beyond words. We had a family member that had to be hospitalized and when she left the hospital we needed special arrangements during our stay. Mrs Ana and the management went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. We are so grateful to them.
And the location of Dominion Polanco is very nice.
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hugo (10/5): - Centro de Polanquito. Excelente.
- Rene (10/5): Exceptional -
- snydersonthego (10/5): Tranquility, luxury with a home-like embrace in Mexico City - Clean and very large suites. Very safe and prosperous part of Mexico City. Felt secure leaving and venturing out at all hours. Hotel itself from street side is understated but has 24 hour security to allow entry, off street underground parking and was quiet. I'm not sure about all the rooms but I rented 2 suites and had kitchens, fridges, dining areas which were modern and impeccably clean and stocked. Morning breakfast was buffer style with broad Mexican selection from fruit, cheeses cereal to eggs and beans and picante sauces. Juices and an espresso maker as well. Only spent 2 nights. Felt like home. The suites had a small room like area that was outdoors for smoking or whatever but no decks overlooking the street. Big modern TV in bedrooms and living room.
We needed nothing more. Excellent location in Polanco. 15 min drive to center. 20 min walk to zoo and Museum of Anthropology. A few minutes to many varied restaurants.
It is small and quiet. It isn't a place with large amounts of tourists, it's own night life etc. If I could have wished for anything, for my teen daughters, I wish it had a sun exposed deck for them to lay out for future visits....there is a small pool with very limited sun exposure but we were already sunburned on arrival so this was not missed. I know of bigger hotels with roof top pools that could have filled this niche but then you would be competing for chairs, more people etc.
For understated luxury, safety and a home feel, look no further. We loved it and would stay again and again.
- John (9/5): Superb - Great location, very friendly staff
- Maria (10/5): - Las suites tienen un excelente tamaño y están muy bien equipadas.
La zona es muy linda.
- Jorge J. (8/5): - People are very nice, respectful and diligent. The security is excellent. Very good service and excellent breakfast.
The pool was out of order in our stay, but looked very nice. I’d stay here again for sure.
- Jose (10/5): - Best property to stay if traveling with a family. Very spacious 2 bedroom in the heart of Polanco. So much to do walking distance. Also a great mix of an apartment feel yet hotel security a d amenities.
- Cindy (10/5): Excellent Location, Friendly Staff - The location was excellent. The rooms were spacious and the staff was great. Our room overlooked the park and the pool is heated. The only downside was have to refill water bottles each day.
- Yvette T (10/5): - Within walking distance of many restaurants and close to a beautiful park
- Diego (10/5): Todo bien - Bien gracias
- Natalie (8/5): - Pros - location was fabulous, Large unit, good security, breakfast (including expresso machine!) was lovely, great to have filtered water, gym,
Suggested improvements - have paper and kitchen towels for guests, hot tub wasn’t always available for use, TV in main room needs to be replaced, knives need to be sharpened
Overall, still a great place. The staff was friendly. We would recommend to our friends and family.
- Beth (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious and comfortable apartment, attentive staff
- Luis (10/5): - Excelente
- Adnan (8/5): Great value for money if you are doing long stays - Overall pretty good. Incredible, large 2 bed apartment, very comfortable beds. Good 'neighbourhood' location - always easy to get a taxi or uber. There is a great street market in front on Saturdays for fresh food and delicious taco stalls.
In room washer and dryer which was nice to do laundry after a week there (buy your own detergent). Excellent daily cleaning. Staff was very responsive to our requests (printing, dry cleaning) by whatsapp. Breakfast is very poor. They don't serve eggs most days and options are limited.
- Cynthia (10/5): - Loved and greatly enjoyed our stay at Dominion. The staff was very nice and attentive. Will definitely return!
- Eugene (7/5): End result, staff was very accommodating. - It was very attractive and the staff was very accommodating, rooms were very large There were issues with lack of hot water initially (2days), but once moved, second room had no hot water issues.
- Lindsey (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adriana (10/5): Exceptional -
- mariongK5351XY (10/5): Dominion - It was great, the breakfast buffet was small but good, and the rooms were comfy, big and good, but it did have a few malfunctions- though, of course, that depends on the room. The shower system will be different for everyone, you might have to turn the knob left, middle or right to make it warm. However, it's in a great destination, close to many things, and they are quick to fix things.
- W7804UMleog (8/5): Broken MACHINES - The condominium is in an expad's and embassy area with many police and shops around. The building is well guarded and is hard for robbers. There is breakfast buffet which is small, but despite its size very good. Though the shower and toilet were not working. The safe was not working either. The doorbell did not work either. We told the hotel about it but they only fixed the shower and toilet.
- Jason (10/5): - Dominion Polanco is a hidden gem in a very nice neighborhood. I took my wife and 2 kids for a 4 night stay in a 2 bedroom 2 bath suite. The spacious open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen are beautiful with modern appliances. Having a washer and dryer in the suite made it easy for us to pack light and have fresh clean clothes when we needed it. The rooms were very clean and quiet and comfy. My kids slept very well in their twin beds considering they usually don’t sleep well in unfamiliar beds. The bathrooms were very nice and plenty of hot water. The complimentary hot breakfast each day helped save time and kept us well fed before starting our days of exploration. I would not recommend renting a car since most of Mexico City’s streets are VERY busy and parking is difficult. We used Uber to get everywhere we needed to be. The security was excellent with a doorman letting us in very quickly and kindly. The heated pool and jacuzzi were plus because my kids love swimming and it was nice to soak in the hot tub after a long day of walking. Restaurants and shops are walking distance (less than 15min). Museums and parks are a short uber ride away. Overall I would highly suggest Dominon Polanco for any type of travelers from couples, friends, and families. If we ever return I would definitely stay there again! 10/10!
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional -
- E5445RFjessican (10/5): FABULOUS stay - This accommodation cannot be beat! Amazing location and the suites are so clean and modern. I stayed with a girlfriend and we each had our own room and bathroom, as did the other 2 girls we traveled with. I would come back with my family as it is also a perfect setup for parents and kids. The pool was quiet, and the daily breakfast was cultural with variety. Loved everything about my stay here and was sad to leave! When I come back to MXC one day, I will be booking here.
- merleej2016 (10/5): Our little home in Polanco - The apartment feels like a cool, chic, comfy home. Mid-century meets modern. The beds are soft, the size of the bathrooms are big enough. We do our laundry in the washer/dryer. The kitchen is well stocked and the living room is spacious. Love the hotel benefits like the breakfast and efficient daily cleaning of the rooms.
- Caitlin (10/5): Property is amazing for a family who likes to spread out. Location cannot be beat. - Location is dynamite. Security is attentive and available 24/7. Building is fairly soundproof considering the loud restaurants in the area. 2 BR suite is beautiful, perfect for a family. Breakfast is minimal but just enough to get you going before hitting the city. Glass bottles provided for filtered water tap which was very thoughtful. Member of our group was told to get out of hot tub after uncovering it himself although it was operating without issue, kinda spooked him. Coffee provided day 1 not restocked each day.
- Robert (10/5): - Loved the property and location. It was perfect for a family reunion and the space felt like home. Staff were very helpful for a late arrival.
- Bryan (10/5): - The place was very clean and safe! Loved the amenities and the vibe of the place. The area is also very walkable and there was a lot of good restaurants nearby.
- Titusz (9/5): Great stay - The flat was huge, and it was great. Plenty of space for 3 people (1 couple + 1 person). It had a walk-in wardrobe! Would also work for a family. Nice pool and hot tub. Only very minor complaints. Breakfast wasn't great. Toaster didn't work. Selection wasn't outstanding. The TV was on all the time which was pointless and noisy.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Best value for such a luxurious place! - I liked everything! Great service, great value, wonderful location and a suite that had a big kitchen, washer, drier, two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, a balcony. Best hotel in Mexico City! I have been traveling to Mexico City for 25 years and this is the best place I have stayed in 25 years!!! There was a problem with the two showers but they took care of it right away.
- Batbayar (9/5): Superb -
- Meg (9/5): Our home away from home. - It’s our 2nd stay and we will definitely come back. I loved the homey feeling of the room: The space, the choice of furnishings, the comfortable bed.
I also loved the location and its wonderful surroundings: the quaint cafes and restaurants. The room could be lit brighter especially in the kitchen area.
- Barath (7/5): Good - Espresso machines were a bit weak and not too much variety in the breakfast buffet
- LondonTraveller17 (6/5): Adequate accommodation but lots of issues- be wary of staying here. - This 2 bedroom flat was large and roomy but there were lots of problems. There was an issue with the hot water in that you turn on the shower, it runs hot for maybe 2 minutes and then the water goes cold and the temperature cannot be adjusted. This happened every day despite my telling reception staff. Their response was always the same - ‘ it’s been fixed!’ - but for 13 days I had to have a cold shower - and that was after having paid more than £300 per night. Also the shower nozzle could not be adjusted rendering one of the bathrooms redundant as the angle of the water spray was so uncomfortable.
Also the noise level was extreme as the hotel is right opposite a restaurant where buskers play outside every evening and patrons make a lot of noise till 2.30am most nights! This isn’t the hotel’s fault but it’s worth mentioning if you’re considering staying here. The flat comes with no essentials and you need to equip it from scratch - washing tablets, dishwasher tablets, paper towels, salt, pepper, everything!
The staff were pleasant especially the doormen who helped us when we were leaving and torrential storms had caused gridlock throughout the whole area. They helped us with our luggage as we had to walk far away to get an Uber to the airport.
If I return to Mexico City I will stay in a hotel as at least I can be assured of hot water there!
- lasK8382NA (2/5): Warning - do NOT stay here - I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences every time I’ve visited Mexico and was really excited about bringing my family along this time which is why we chose Dominion Polanco. From their presence online, they had it all - location, aesthetics, amenities like daily buffet, kitchen, laundry, pool, the works. Unfortunately, they left a lot to be desired and I would advise anyone who is looking to book this hotel to STRONGLY reconsider.
Pros:
* Location - centralized and within walking distance to many great restaurants and parks. The Saturday morning farmer’s market was such a nice treat.
* Space - the overall size of the room was the perfect space for our family of four.
* Safety - there was security present at the gate letting us in and out at all times.
*Amenities - the rooms come with a full-kitchen and washer/dryer.
Cons: Now here’s where it gets ugly.
* Reception - the hotel is run by security guards and kitchen staff. At some point during our stay, our keys stopped working and the security guards mentioned there was no ‘administration’ present to issue us new keys. Instead, we were asked to request access to our rooms whenever we needed so a security guard could let us in. So for the next 2 days, we had to physically approach a security guard to escort us to our room to open our door every time we needed access.
* Breakfast - we arrived in the early hours of the morning and with two kids en tow, so needless to say we were exhausted. At check in, we asked if we could snag some fruit and pastries to take back to the room with us and the security guard said it shouldn’t be a problem. When my husband and kids walked over to the buffet, they were quickly shooed away by the kitchen staff. Once I realized what was going on, I asked the security guard if there was a problem prompting him to approach the lady. He quickly turned around and apologized informing us we’d be unable to take any food to the rooms. We finished checking in and ordered food from Uber eats. The following morning as we were on our way out, we figured it’d be best to eat at the hotel before our Uber picked us up. As we put our belongings down and made our way towards the fully stocked buffet, the same lady came out of the kitchen and said we were ONE MINUTE EARLY and her and the staff weren’t ready to serve quite yet. Instead of causing a scene, I simply asked my kids to leave their half filled plates where they were and we went to Starbucks around the corner instead. We refused to make any further attempts to eat breakfast at the hotel for the remainder of our stay.
* Maintenance - each restroom had one hand towel and one bath towel when we checked in. I called the front desk to request more towels since there were 4 of us and they asked why. I mentioned the lack of towels in the room and they asked exactly how many we needed reminding us of the washer and dryer in the room. Baffled, I asked for 2 more towels and assured them we’d wash them so we didn’t have to bother them for more during our stay. One of the beds didn’t have sheets or pillows so we requested those as well. They mentioned they didn’t fix one of the beds because they assumed we didn’t need it (what?!), and said they’d be by in a few hours during their rounds. I asked them to give me the sheets and I would make the bed myself since we needed some rest. 1 hour later, after walking down to the front desk to remind them of my request, I was provided with a trash bag full of sheets and a pillow.
* Amenities - the washer and dryer cannot be run at the same time. There is no detergent provided so we bought our own. There is no dish soap. The microwaves don’t work. Their kitchen utensils, including pots and pans, are minimal and the ones that are available are in poor shape. They do not provide any napkins or paper towels of any kind.
* Water - the temperature options are freezing cold, cold and luke warm at best. There is no hot water. The shower heads need to be pointed at the wall when turned on or you risk soaking yourself.
The icing on the cake for us was on our final day as we were preparing to check out. We were informed by a friend about a marathon happening locally and the potential impact it could have on transportation, but it was too late. We had 4 Ubers cancel on us in a span of 10 mins and we’re now at risk of missing our flight. I quickly ran down to the front desk and asked the security guards for help requesting assistance with finding transportation to the airport. They told me we were SOL because all of the streets were closed. I stepped outside to find yellow tape blocking streets in every direction and a cop at the corner. Close to tears, I asked the cop what our options were and he said our best bet was to walk 6-7 blocks out until we spotted traffic because the streets would remain closed until later that afternoon. As I made my way back to the room to get my family of four out the door as quickly as possible, one of the security guards followed me asking if he could walk the room for check out. I agreed and as he saw my husband and I struggle to carry out 4 suitcases, 2 car seats, a stroller and 2 toddlers, he asked us where the room key was. Yes, the same room key that stopped working 2 days into our trip. The second we stepped foot outside of the gate, he wished us a good day and closed the gates on us. I was shocked and couldn’t believe what a horrible experience we had to end to end.
- Lynnette (2/5): - Never staying here again and advising everyone I know against it. From the second we walked in, we received the furthest from a warm welcome. The hotel is run by security guards and kitchen staff. The kitchen staff was horrible - we got in during early hours and they had just put breakfast out. We asked if we could take some fruit and pastries back to the room to feed the kids and the lady wouldn’t even look at us. She simply waved no at the security guard and spoke under her breath appalled at the request. As we were on our way out the following morning, we sat to grab a quick bite to eat and she called over the security guard to tell them they weren’t set up yet so we couldn’t sit down. The buffet was fully stocked, but chose to leave and dine elsewhere. Our keys stopped working so we had to ask a security guard to be let into our room every time we needed access. The water temperature wasn’t regulated. Toilets were clogged. The inciting on the cake was on our final day as were waiting for a driver to take us to the airport, we had multiple cancellations due to a marathon in the city which we had no clue about. Instead of offering to assist, the security guards asked to do a final walk through of the room, said they couldn’t help with transpiration due to the street closures, watched us struggle to find transportation while carrying 4 suitcases and 2 kids down the stairs without any help before closing the gates on us. Horrible experience.
- 637pamm (8/5): Our stay went very well and the overall experience was positive. - The staff was terrific, friendly, professional and kind. This included the managers, security and cleaning crew. The property location is outstanding.
Areas for improvement:
-WiFi was inconsistent. It was far worse at night.
-For a long stay the breakfast became mundane as it was mostly the same everyday.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angelica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Faisal (8/5): Very good -
- Baldemar (10/5): - Good breakfast, friendly staff, nice pool....many dining options around....and clean
