Guest Reviews
- Edward (9/5): IT WAS PLEASANT OTHER THAN HAVING TO WALK IN SNOW TO GET TO THE LOUNGE - N/A HAVING TO WALK AN OPEN CORRIDOR TO GET TO THE LOUNGE AND THE FACT LACK OF CLEARING ABOUT 8 INCHES OF SNOW THAT WE HAD TO TRUDGE MY WAY TO GET TO THE LOUNGE
- Eric (3/5): -
- Judy (6/5): It was satisfactory - The location was great. The lobby and front desk nice and clean My room was next to the restaurant and the evening/night clean up was loud. They kept banging a metal door or something like that.
- Wayne (8/5): -
- Shyrel (9/5): It was good. -
- Farms (5/5): Improvements could be used. - Location was convenient. The room was decent but the tile was dirty, beds are hard as a rock, very noisy through the doors, and cold air was coming through the window by the AC unit. Hot water tap in the shower did not stay on and didn't notice the directions on how to work the shower as they were on the outside of the bathroom door.
- Cathy (10/5): Comfortable friendly and reasonable price. - The beds are very comfortable. The room and property is clean. Staff are always friendly and helpful. One of the most important things to me is that they take cash as a deposit. We were vendors at the sportsman show in Grande Prairie and will stay in Beaverlodge every time because of this wonderful hotel that not only is very comfortable but also take CASH. Another note is the Restaraunt is very good No coffee machine in the room
- Natasha (10/5): -
- Stahl (1/5): - Smelly
- David (5/5): -
- Jennilyn (10/5): -
- Roderick (8/5): Decent accommodation - Decent, basic room. Good diner for a quick meal. No coffee maker in the room.
- Hodder (8/5): -
- Hinkley (9/5): A reasonably good value for the money. Clean. Quiet. - Convenient for my itinerary. The outside looks very nice. I decided to eat in the attached restaurant, the physical parts of which are older and a little worn. The service was spectacular and the food was delicious. I had one of the recommended specials of the day.
The lady at the desk was charming, gracious, and laughed at my jokes!
The smart TV in my room had Internet access which I could use to watch YouTube. I’ve never had this feature even in expensive, new hotel/motel rooms. The property is worn and could probably use some repairs and replacements, especially of carpeting.
- Collin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Hodder (8/5): Very good -
- Tracy (6/5): Pleasant - Location and restaurant Beds are small :( and I find the showers very difficult to use /turn on
- Stewart (7/5): All in all good experience - Staff was very friendly Can really hear your neighbors
- Ken (2/5): Very poor - Close to family Room had no amenities - no coffee , no hair dryer
Room had a smell , old stained mattress, visable stained sheets on box spring , rug stained and damaged ( lifted ) tripping hazard
The room was dirty , dusty like unused for a period of time
- Kurt (4/5): Disappointing - The beds are uncomfortable, pillows hard as rocks, shitty shower heads, majority of the time no front desk staff in lobby.
- Cathy (8/5): Clean comfortable friendly. The Restaraunt serves excellent food but keep in mind only open till 8 pm - It is clean comfortable with friendly staff. Location was good too. Even though it was located right along the hwy the building was set far enough back that we heard very little highway noise No coffee machine in the room
- Judith (6/5): Pleasant -
- Michele (7/5): Good - Location was great.
Full size fridge.
The bed was great. No mirrors in the room except small one over the sink.
No coffee maker in the room.
I felt that the $30 daily fee for a small pet was a bit excessive. $150 total for 5 day stay.
- Cole (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andre (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (8/5): Very good - Nice bar in back
- Robert (4/5): We enjoyed our stay in Beaverlodge. The staff at the BMI were excellent. - The staff were very kind and as helpful as could be. The rooms are in need of some love. Simple things like the toilet paper holder need repair. There was no complimentary coffee in the rooms. The building is old and needs upgrading. The lobby was lovely and modern. The rooms need to be upgraded and the hallway carpet needs replacing.
- Mary (9/5): You require far more information than necessary . You don’t need to have personal information on every single person . -
- Lambert (8/5): Very good - Very pet friendly. Handy having an attached restaurant. Very helpful staff. Confortable room.
- Chelsey (8/5): Very good -
- Auvigne (7/5): Good -
- Christina (5/5): One employee was trying to overcharge us for a pet stay - Location was good Dirty areas
- Thomas (7/5): Good -
- Debbie (1/5): Bad -
- Kamen (5/5): Okay for a single night stay - Price is competitive Rooms smell like smoke or just old smelling, beds are super uncomfortable. You have no control of the water temp, it goes from hot to cold to scalding hot all on its own in every room I’ve ever stayed at there.
- Gerald (6/5): Pleasant -
- Robert (5/5): I wish to enter a room and feel that it has been cared for and is ready to welcome me! - When I complained about cleanliness, lights not working, tv not working, staff responded well and worked to correct obvious weaknesses. So much - cleanliness of carpet, sheets could be softer, a comfortable chair for reading, quieter. towels could be softer and not so obviously old! Even toilet paper could be softer!!
- Bailey (3/5): Service was great but the room smelled so awful, I didn’t want to touch anything. - Friendly staff, close parking The room smelled awful like mildew and it was so strong, everything in my suitcase now smells like the room did
- Jason (8/5): Great comfortable and very affordable. - The beds were very comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly The breakfast. I ordered pancakes the first morning and they were out of pancakes? So I was given French toast instead and it was not the best.
- Jozef (2/5): Filthy place. Don’t stay there - Main hotel was apparently full so I got a room in a second building 2 blocks to the west. It was filthy. Carpet did not see a vacuum cleaner for a long time and had mud stains near the bed. It was late so there was no options. Got out of there in the morning really quickly.
- Deborah (1/5): one of the worst hotels ever - The room was stifling hot, there was no way to turn the heat down, so, they installed window units, but it never cooled down, it was in the 50's outside, over 80 in the room. The smell was awful, lightbulbs missing. It looked as though someone made the beds, but then sat on them.
- Sheldon (7/5): Good for what we needed. - One day we had breakfast at the restaurant - it was OK. Was a air little stuffy, little out of date. Would like to see a coffee maker in the room with coffee and teas.
- Douglas (8/5): Excellent -
- Glen (7/5): Good - Bed and room where good. Everything was ok.
- Marg (7/5): We got what we paid for, without complaints - The room was clean but “tired” and it was quiet. The food in the restaurant was very good. Nothing really was unacceptable
- Mcdonald (7/5): Good -
- Jim (7/5): It was an enjoyable stay in the town. - The location was easy to see and stay. I ate my own breakfast. Good night sleep. I couldn’t turn down temperature as it was a bit too warm for me. Window couldn’t be opened to let in cool air. Strong smell from cooking in restaurant bother me, but I managed to sleep well.
- Sabrina (5/5): Passable - Great breakfast and staff Desperately needs a reno
