- Jeri (4/5): - If you don't mind the smell of the sewer coming up from the shower the place might be fine. Unlike their ad, there is NO staff or office 23 of 24 hours, no restaurant, but still has a "resort fee". Overall, this hotel is not being maintained.

Contactless check-in and check-out, room / kitchen / bath were perfectly fine, pool and hot-tub courtyard were as-advertised, fellow guests were quiet and friendly, location was quiet and close to everything. Mini-split heating/ac was a little noisy and the showerhead had some mineral build-up, but overall really pleased with our stay.
- Victor (8/5): - Adult-only resort that is quiet. Resort has few staff; I have to check-in over the phone with an operator. Resort has jacuzzi and pool. Continental breakfast served at 8:30am (eg. bagel, muffin, cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee).

- Paul (10/5): - Had a wonderful stay, it was very quiet during our 4 nights. We enjoyed the hottub and pool, and an easy walk to food and shopping. Loved the kitchenette. Extremely affordable, great price for such great rooms. Highly recommend, and we hope to be back.
- Kristian (6/5): Not great - The office closes at 5 PM. I arrived at 9 PM and got a noisy room right by the pool pump even though the place was empty. No one to talk to about it. The wifi did not reach my room. Also not good. Rooms have no insulation and get cold at night. I emailed them to talk about it and they never responded, even days later.
- alyssa (6/5): - No cleaning service for 4 days. We had to put our overflowing trash outside our door and hope it would be emptied. We had to ask for towels, and there were none available. They brought us some pool blankets instead. Apparently the hotel has been sold will be under new ownership. The staff that were only there very briefly seemed very checked out. It’s a lovely setting and I look forward to seeing what it becomes under new ownership.
- Bretney (8/5): Cute hotel bad bikes - Cute comfortable hotel with a nice mini kitchen Was upset because all the bikes were broken and that is one of the reasons we chose this hotel. I was stranded with a bike whose tires went flat. Then noticed all the other bikes were bad
- James (10/5): Clean and quiet - It was such a nice place to stay. The room was large and very clean. The bed and the pillows were so comfortable. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

It was only one genre of music and did not reflect the guests at the time. Most people have ear pods and music on their phones. Thank you!
- Eric (10/5): Great fun and private hotel - Great small hotel near downtown Palm Springs. Every room is pool-side, with a cooling pool and hot jacuzzi, lots of chaise loungers, a gas BBQ, and a nice basic breakfast. Our room had a comfy bed, sofa, and a nice kitchenette with dishes, pots/pans, toaster, coffee maker, blender, lots of nice plastic pool cups and wine glasses.

- Christopher (10/5): Perfect stay. - Amazing. What a cute and amazing place. We stayed in room 7. It had a great little kitchen with table and fridge. There’s a comfy couch and very comfy bed. The bathroom was a great size, good water pressure. Bonus was a decent patio space. We had a small service dog with us. The space was great to allow him some space also. The salt water pool was warm. With only 9 rooms the place was quiet and private. Perfect stay.

- Sandra (10/5): Clean, relaxing and felt like home - Absolutely enjoyed the beautiful and comfortable suite I stayed in. I’m looking forward to coming back to the same suite on my next trip here. I’m a very picky person when it comes to cleanliness, and this suite was definitely clean, it passed my “Clorox wipe test”, yes, I travel with my own cleaning supplies, lol. I like to enter a hotel and wipe down everything I plan to touch, and to my surprise, this was the first hotel that left my wipe clean with no visible dirt.I really felt like I was home and it was a good thing because I chose to stay in because of the storm.

Also we found bugs crawling up the wall , in our bed and in the bathroom. (Not roaches but some other strange looking type bug)

- Sharon (6/5): It was okay. - Our stay was okay. Nothing stood out as either terrible or stellar. This is a small hotel with a friendly staff, but the property is a bit dated. The room was very clean and included a full kitchen and private patio area in the back.The bed was very comfortable. I have to admit, it was a bit strange having the pool area right outside and so very close our room entrance/exit. The other guests are kind of "in your face" and in your business due to close proximity. You'll need to pull the curtains if you want any privacy.

- Christopher (10/5): Great Little Hotel - The Avance Hotel was great. It was reasonably priced, located a short walk from downtown Palm Springs, and had plenty of free parking. The front desk team was super friendly and the rooms spacious and comfortable. Everything was simple to operate and worked perfectly (AC, WIFI, TV). The rooms surround the pool and jacuzzi so you are always seconds away from the water. This is a great choice if you want an affordable option close to all of the downtown action.

- Heather (10/5): - I really loved staying at this property and would definitely book here again. It's quiet and well appointed, and the communal pool and hot tub area is so lovely to spend time at. The bikes are so fun to ride around the neighbourhood. My only hesitation is that it's a bit of a jaunt to downtown -- about 15 or 20 mins on foot. It was fine for me but my 72 year old Mom found it a bit much sometimes, especially on really hot days.

The staff rebooted the router, which helped but didn’t eliminate the problem. However, I appreciated their responsiveness!

Cons: bed was pretty uncomfortable (soft), room had a bad smell when we checked in but I got febreeze from front desk which helped, fridge is pretty noisy, heating unit was very noisy (sounded like a plane taking off).

Every morning breakfast was provided and the coffee was provided on an individual making basis. The location of this property, being within walking distance of downtown Palm Springs was ideal. The pool and the rooms were extremely clean. This place has an " awesome vibe" to it. We will definitely stay at this place on our next visit to Palm Springs.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Be warned - I arrived @5:30p after a long day of meetings to find the office closed. I called the # & went straight to vm. They had sent me an email for directions on lock box & how to enter. I had a hard time finding my room (while peering into everyones window - in the dark). Got to my room & the security is a zero. The locks on all the doors & windows were old & creaking / loose & no reinforcing lock on anything. The room was FREEZING cold and smelled terrible. The heater was set to 86 and i never got out of my sweats/socks etc.. it was so cold. Nothing was updated, the glass i had to use was dirty. The bed was so uncomfortable i was sore the next day. I travel often & always look at customer reviews first. I have no idea why this place got such great reviews - I didn't experience any of that.

- Rob (6/5): - The property and grounds were pristine and well maintained. The staff was really friendly and helpful. All rooms are only accessible through sliding glass doors opening to the courtyard. Our room was noisy all the time. At times we could hear people talking on their phones and understand the conversation. At night we could hear strange little thumps and bumps all night long. The cheap thin blinds meant that we never could get the room dark even with everything closed. It was fairly light in our room all night long. The free breakfast was little more than bagels, a couple of cereals and some fruit. All of the furnishings were a little on the cheap side with exposed dings and bare wood. All in all, the Avance was nice, but a cheap remodel took away any charm that we expected in a boutique Palm Springs property. It was well cleaned and the staff was great, but the property itself was bland.

- Wendy (10/5): - We were arriving after 5:00 and it was dark. Late check in instructions were emailed and received in car, so attempted to complete required information. Impossible to do while driving. At arrival no one available, so called the number on the door and a very pleasant lady suggested we register in the morning. Further instructions led us to our room. Unfortunately we could not take advantage of the surroundings as we were checking out earlier to catch a plane. Our room had full fridge, stove, table and chairs, and hide bed sofa. Everything appeared new and tastefully decorated. King size bed was very comfortable and shower clean. In fact this accommodation was excellent including private courtyard. To take advantage of this quiet adult only place, one should stay for at least a week. BBQs were set up around the pool. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Quiet and comfortable - Found this gem of a place for a quick getaway. Quiet but the room was comfortable and well stocked. Breakfast was just right. Very friendly front desk. Will be back whenever we’re in Palm Springs.
