- Alice (2/5): - It’s been actually pretty bad. I’ve been stuck in the elevator which was scary as the call for help button and speaker didn’t work. It was only a man shouting on the other side trying to get in who alerted a staff member when I called for help. The man eventually came through the speaker giving instructions in French, not very helpful, and then didn’t alert me to when the lift would start again. The tv has no English channels and the internet drops out every 20 seconds, so you can’t watch anything on your phone screen either. It didn’t connect well even on the first floor in the gym either (my room was on the 5th). I discovered after getting out of the lift and telling the male receptionist (who didn’t seem to care) that there was also no food as it’s a Sunday, and only a small overpriced supermarket might be available. Lunch and dinner was a large bag of crisps. Not even a sandwich provided to guests, when they presumably know things are closed on a Sunday. Unfortunately I was unaware until it’s too late. I would certainly want a refund for getting stuck in the lift. The room was clean.
- Mark (4/5): Careful with bed booking. - I’d requested a room with 2 single beds for a father and son in our group. The hotel reserved a double bed. Their solution was to suggest charging us extra for a room with 2 beds. Despite a long negotiation, the receptionist insisted it would be an extra Euro50. No flexibility shown.
- ANDRE (8/5): - Bon accueil dans cet hotel situé a une dizaine de minutes a pied de la gare. Chambre au lit confortable. Petit déjeuner à 16€ un peu cher même si il est sous forme de buffet " à volonté". Rebord de la piscine souillé par des dejections de goélands. Suggestion: remplacer le verre plastique de la salle de bains par un équivalent verre plus ecoloqique.

- gerard (2/5): N’oubliez surtout rien dans la chambre - Il est tout à fait déplorable même si ça n’est pas non plus une affaire d’état de revenir une heure après son départ pour récupérer son chargeur d’iPhone et de vous entendre dire que la femme de ménage n’a rien trouvé dans la chambre alors que vous aviez laissé en charge votre tel toute la nuit … l’ayant acheté la veille à 60 eur … vous vous dites que vous ne reviendrez plus dans cet hôtel ….

The rooftop pool is clean and a nice to have on a hot day. Lots to do in walking distance, restaurants, shops, sight seeing etc. Rooms were clean and the hotel restaurant has friendly staff and well priced meals.

Daardoor kraakt het bed en ligt het niet comfortabel. Tip: ga in centrum ontbijten. De 15 euro in het hotel is het ontbijt echt niet waard.

- Ragnhild (10/5): Amazing hotel! - I stayed here for a week with my 1-year old baby, and it exceeded all of my expectations. The hotel is located very nicely, right next to the harbor, with walking distance to all of the main attractions in Bastia. The rooms are big and clean. Amazing breakfast. It costs 14 euros, but you get so much; all different kinds of cereal, bread, crepes, different milk types, eggs, lovely coffee and much more. It was a real highlight of my stay. Those who hired the staff did a great job, they are exceptionally welcoming, attentive and professional. They were understanding and helped with whatever you needed. This hotel gives you great value for money, compared to other places the prices are great, and even so- the amenities were that of a luxury hotel. 3-star hotel? I would say 4-5. This hotel has children's beds! And different chairs suitable for babies and toddlers. Thank you for a wonderful stay

- Mariza (10/5): Nice, Convenient, Great Value! - We stayed just one night after flying in from Paris. This hotel has comfortable beds, a nice balcony, kind service, great rooftop view with a delicious breakfast. We left our bags durning the day as we explored the city before heading to Calvi in the late afternoon. I would stay here again for sure.

Très belle terrasse. Situation idéale, à 15 minutes à pied du vieux port et à 2 minutes du port d’embarquement des ferries. A recommander.

- Julia (10/5): - The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. They are available at all hours. Breakfast is available from 5am for those with an early departure. The rooms were really modern and clean with nice tiled floors. The bed was huge and very comfortable.

- Matthew (8/5): hotel is fine; I highly recommend a FR evening - We spent our last night in this hotel before returning on the ferry to mainland Europe. It was a good plan (I'll take credit :) as we could see our ferry arrive and not have to wake up too early nor waste time waiting. The harbor entrance is 50m from the hotel. The hotel is fine, clean, comfortable bed, etc. and the A/C was a very welcome break after three weeks in a tent. Breakfast at the hotel was fine---nothing special but good enough. The location is super; out the door, turn right and walk 50 meters and you enter a very charming part of Bastia. We were here on a Friday and if you get the chance, I highly recommend a FR evening in Bastia. Music, the restaurants and cafes full, just oozing charm and flair. We loved it. Not mentioned on the hotel's website is that there is a large, FREE parking space almost right behind the hotel. Worked perfectly.

- Sharon (10/5): Great place to stay - Well run hotel in a perfect location to explore the city areas near the water. Rooms clean & comfortable, large breakfast. Top floor has expansive views of the marina area. Simon at the front desk has a marvelous way of making you feel very welcome.
