Lillian (9/5): Great place to stay overlooking Lake Hume - Great location overlooking Lake Hume. 10 min drive from Albury away from noise and traffic. Very comfy cabin, great shower, bed very comfortable. Everything supplied for a great stay. Not much - Quite a few steps up to cabin as we were on a hill. Dining chairs were a little rickity.

We needed a place to stay overnight close to Albury, and have never been to Lake Hume - this could be a great place to stay when exploring the area. Convenient, only 15 minutes from Albury, right on the lakes. The cabin we had needs a tiny bit of TLC, but nothing too serious. It was clean, functional, the beds were comfy, so no real complaints.

Megan (9/5): We really loved our stay. - My sisters and I had a special family time together. Sadly one sister is unwell, but she really enjoyed the break and comforts of the cabin. We all did. And the Discovery Park has become her favourite place to recharge in the peace and tranquility. NA

Nice scenic location alongside the water. Cafe makes great coffee too Would definitely stay again if visiting Albury or Wodonga area in future.

Laura (8/5): - The pool was right next to our cabin so that was great. The cabin was clean and well furnished. They forgot to open the pool on our second morning so we had to go twice to see if someone would open it. They eventually did but we missed out on a good 2 hours of quiet swimming we aspired to in the morning before all the kids arrive to play. The Cafe was shockingly bad. The place looks lovely but the food... Greasy fries, (gave me a bad stomach for the test of the day) dirty working benches... they have a nice range of ice creams on one side of the cafe but they serve you the most disgusting, artificially flavoured, and overpriced milkshakes instead. the staff was friendly but appalling at their actual job. Definitely more "dinner ladies" than professional chefs. We went twice and both times the staff acted like they were so busy they couldn't handle the pressure (it was just us and some other couple having coffee) . I also over heard them talking about us in a "not so nice" way... when they thought we weren't listening. 😐

We did have the cheaper cabin, so the walls were super thin and hard to get 4 kids to sleep without disturbing others. But it was fine.

Sarah (10/5): A Great Little Cabin with all Amenities and Excellent Value - Such a great little economy cabin - it far exceeded my expectations! It has received a wonderful update and has a modern kitchen with all you could need and a shower with hot and fast flowing water. The bedding was warm and comfy with crisp cotton sheets and a choice of pillows, and the towels were fluffy. The lounge had a large and comfy sofa and place to sit. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully laid out. It had all I needed and was in a quiet spot not far from the lake and a little balcony for relaxing. This was at the NSW Discovery Parks location, and a perfect half-way rest stop between Sydney and Melbourne. The staff were very helpful and friendly - all in all a really unexpectedly great stay and such a great price!! Please keep providing these kinds of accommodation for those travelling on a budget. I would love to stay again. Can't think of anything! All was great.

Donna (10/5): Above & beyond expectations, a lovely place to stay and explore - The view from the cabin was spectacular, with a beautiful veranda to have a meal on and enjoy the sunset. Our cabin was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need during your stay. Beds were super comfy! Looking forward to a longer stay next time, as the park amenities are great, lovely friendly ladies on reception and in the store, plus the great places to walk made us not want to leave. Oh & don’t forget the onsite ice creamery, that was a nice treat after travelling. Internet was intermittent, but certainly didn’t detract from our stay.

Nicole (10/5): Other than what I didn’t like , very minimal, it was fantastic. We are booking on for a week next year as a weekend wasn - Location. Size. Can stay next to people you travel with. Staff were great. Wifi wasn’t great. Need a fence or bigger sign on exit so no one drives over the edge - very unsafe. Please heat the pool and put in a nice big spa
