• Alma (3/5): Не советую вообще - Кровать твердая, будто на тахте спала. Завтраки холодные! Безвкусные! Чай - надо ждать пока персонал даст сразу чайник чая. Кофе вообще нет кофе машины :( разочарована. Зачем фотографии места, где был один дискомфорт?!
• Dmitrii (9/5): в целом все хорошо. - Вежливый персонал, чистота в номере Есть стол на котором стоит чайник. Розетки для чайника нет. Чтобы подогреть воду надо отключить ночник у кровати и перетащить туда чайник на пол. Нет гигиенического душа.

• Vadim (2/5): Отвратительный сервис в уставшем, неуютном отеле! - Завтрак и русский персонал - вежливые молодые люди. Но, к сожалению, они появились потом, а нас встретил аферист-узбека Нас заселили 04.10.2025 в номер Deluxe. Номер маленький, с 1 окном, которое наполовину закрыто щитом. Старый грязный ковролин. Но главное, что номер насквозь прокуренный! Пепел был на подоконнике. На замечания вызвали уборщицу, которая запшикала весь номер освежителем, от которого невозможно было дышать. Сантехника течет. На полу игла! Нас в итоге переселили в такой же темный маленький номер, но хотя бы, где можно было дышать. Узбек на ресепшене пытался обмануть нас, накрутив дополнительные платежи. Мы получили письмо от отеля, где была итоговая сумма с указанием налогов, к которым мы были готовы. Но он устно назвал другую сумму (на 23$ больше!). Начал кричать, что все так платят и вообще ночь поспите и уезжайте! В итоге долгих доказываний сказал "ладно" и взял указанные в письме деньги (принимал только наличными!) Держитесь подальше от этого места! На этой же улице много других отелей

• Guest (5/5): Второй раз в этом отеле я не поселюсь, хотя локация удобная и номера терпимые, но сервис подкачал. - Понравилось, что номер был светлым. Отель расположен в тихом месте недалеко от центра, пешком можно дойти до сити. На завтрак можно было выбрать кашу, яичницу или омлет и ее вам приготовят на кухне. Внимательно смотрите на чек от букинга, который приходит на почту, в день заезда у нас сложилась неприятная ситуация, персонал отеля пытался взять сверху курортный сбор, хотя он уже был включен в стоимость номера, долго спорили, были угрозы выселения, в итоге нашли письмо с бронью где была детализация чека. Ситуацию разрешили, но неприятное впечатление осталось. Теперь об отеле: золотые годы этого отеля были в 2000-х, сейчас отель ушатанный и требует обновления. В ванной комнате сантехника со сколами и трещинами, все пожелтевшее от времени, в номере очень мало розеток, приходилось выключать светильник, чтобы зарядить телефон, к слову, основное освещение в номере — это светильники, верхнего света нет вовсе. Не работал сейф, а ТВ показывал только 3 аналоговых канала, у нас была возможность посмотреть обстановку в других номерах, в каждом номере разные древние ТВ, кажется удобнее эксплуатировать в одном отеле одну модель телевизора. Каждый день у всех гостей размагничивались ключи, приходилось постоянно приходить на ресепшен. В номерах слабая шумоизоляция, слышимость соседей 8/10 баллов. Горничная врывается в номер без предупреждения, приходилось постоянно держать на двери табличку "не беспокоить". Странные условия позднего выезда, обычно когда оплачиваешь половину стоимости, расчитываешь хотя бы до 23.00 еще быть в номере, но не в этом отеле, у них поздний выезд до 18.00. Второй раз в этом отеле я бы не остановился. Надеюсь менеджеры прочтут отзыв и постараются хотя бы исправить сервис.

Очень коасиво, уютно, причем во всем отеле, а не только в номере, коары чтмтве приятно ходить, персонал просто невероятно добрый, отзывчивый, еда разнообразная, горячее по запросу, готоят для вас сразу, расположение отличное, можно дойти до разных мест путешествующего , я обязательно вернусь в этот отель при любой следующий понздщ❗️ Нам все понравилось!

• Lucie (5/5): Nicht zu empfehlen - Der einzig freundliche Mensch in diesem Hotel war der junge, erst neu eingestellte Rezeptionist. Wir hatten nur Ärger in diesem Hotel. Der Manager hat uns angebrüllt, weil wir uns über den völlig überteuerten Abholservice beschwert hatten. Wir haben 40 $ für eine Fahrzeit von 8 Minuten bezahlt! Ich selbst wurde von ihm bleidigt, weil ich es gewagt hatte, als Frau den Mund aufzumachen. Man hat mir dann auch das schlechteste Zimmer im Haus zugewiesen. Ich bin nur in diesem Haus geblieben, weil ich mit Freunden dort gebucht hatte und wir auf die Schnelle nur sehr schwer anderzeitig 4 Zimmer bekommen hätten. Auch zu anderen Gästen war der Manager alles andere als freundlich. Lediglich der junge Rezeptionist hat versucht, zu vermitteln, worauf hin auch dieser vom Manager angebrüllt wurde. Die Bilder suggerieren einen Standard, der in Wahrheit nicht vorhanden ist. Unser Fenster war sehr klein und davor standen die Mülleimer, sodaß wir es trotz Hitze nicht öffnen konnten. Im Badezimmer waren noch Haare vom Gast davor und Schimmel in der Dusche. . Wegen technischer Probleme seitens des Hotels wurde der Rechnungsbetrag meiner Kreditkarte nicht belastet, was wohl erst nach unserer Abreise aufgefallen ist. Ich wurde daraufhin sowohl über Mail als auch Whatsapp mit Aufforderungen "bombardiert", nochmal zu bezahlen. Der Manager drohte, dem Angestellte seinen Lohn nicht zu bezahlen, bis ich den Betrag nochmals überwiesen hätte, was ich selbstverständlich nach Überprüfung meiner Abrechnungen auch getan habe.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Отдыхали 10 дней в начале ноября 2024. От отеля осталось хорошее впечатление. Номер 206 Deluxe Twin Room всё как на фото. Естественно были небольшие неудобства, но это ведь отель не супер класса. Не новый, но приятный интерьер, а также всё время освежают ремонт. Завтрак более чем скромный. Поэтому завтракали в номере, иногда брали яйца и чай. Главное достоинство отеля это услужливый персонал ( особенно Мирзо), любые вопросы решали быстро и с улыбкой. На отдыхе это немало важно. Долго выбирали отель, и не ошиблись в выборе. Улица не шумная, магазины рядом, на такси в любую точку центра 2-3 доллара. Можно и пешком прогуляться. Уборка номера по требованию. Ну так - на троечку. Но если не сильно привередливые, то нормально. Спасибо персоналу.

The closest Metro station is about a 20-minute walk, so not so convenient if you plan to use the Metro much. Taxis are cheap, but you can't just hail one on the street. You need to use an app. And if you don't have a SIM card...

• QAISER RAZA (4/5): - The room given to us was in the basement of the. building, very poor ventilation. Insufficient hot water in the washroom, could not take shower properly. Overall, the room was unacceptable.
• Richard (4/5): - Lazy attitude by management and staff toward guests. Absolutely no check of the room before guest checks in. Broken fridge, broken tv remote, broken window screens. No thought put into room design. Staff is not trained to react to a guest’s problems. Nice location.

The TV remote did not work, and they had no replacement for it. Also were unable to fix it. So it was necessary to switch channels and adjust volume manually on the device. Sleepy staff at the front desk and in the restaurant.

As I stayed here for the first night in Uzbekistan, I thought this hotel was the standard here but it was dead wrong. This hotel was definitely superb for the price and the best among five accommodations I've stayed.
• johannar775 (6/5): barely correct; clean but bed is hard as hell, breakfast is so poor; internet is NOT working AT ALL! staff is very nice - Staff is really nice, room is big and clean but: BED is the hardest ever, i told them and they put a double matress; even with that bed was still hard: ! i had never ever experienced a bed that hard.. terrible; so if you want to sleep properly there, ask for a triple matress;; INTERNET is absolutly NOT working; and in all country there s no 3G 4G or even 1 G; so be aware that you wont be able to do anything; i couldnt even book trips on line which i really needed to do; BREAKFAST is absolutly poor ; small buffet with porridge , a bit of cheese and bread.. the poorest ever.. the 2 day, as i ate only porridge, i realized they put some salt in it!!! i told them the porridge was salty and they made another for me: who the hell can put salt in porridge?? I HAD ROOM service i aked for french fries: they were cold, and they gave me what i thought would be salt with it, and actually it was sugar !! SO i put sugar on my fries; who gives sugar with fries! ?? i called them and they changed it; the server guy doesn t speak a word english so we communicated with google voice which was quite funny :) you can t put the heat you want in the room: so it was too hot, i had to put air con; so it s stupid because they put too much heat so that at the same time you have it and have to put air con: to sum up: really basic , dont expect any luxuary but for me the 3 main most important things in a hotel are missing that s why i would NOT return in this hotel : internet, a comfortable bed, a good breakfast : these are most important things that this hotel doesnt offer; hopefully the staff is very nice i have to insist on this aNd give them credits on it :) IT S QUITE expensive also: around 50 euros per night, too much for tashkent and this basic hotel

• RG-B19 (8/5): A little Gem - I was booked to stay at the Samir while on a business trip to the Uzbekistan Region. Arriving late at night, the reception staff were hugely welcoming, had me checked in within minutes, and more than happy to ply me with a much needed beer! The room was large, clean, with a fabulous en-suite. The bed was a little hard, but still slept like a log. I was on the top floor, to the rear of the hotel, so was wonderfully peaceful. What is really lovely about this area is that toursim is a fairly new industry, and all of the places I have stayed have a naivety which is so endearing. Great service, traditional food, but without the commercialism of the big cains.

• giuseppebZ1957BV (4/5): The daily housekeeping service? An optional! - After visiting some wonderful cities in Uzbekistan we finally arrived in Tashkent, the capital. We decided to spend two nights at the Samir Hotel, before going back home. We read some good reviews about this hotel. The first impression was quite good, the rooms large and clean. Nothing was missing in the bathroom, even if the quantity of the shampoo was very, very few. Anyway, I thought, this is not a big problem. The day after we went out to visit the city but when we came back, in the afternoon, we noticed that our two rooms and also the bathrooms were exactly as we left them in the morning. The beds were not tidied up, the towels not changed, the little bottles of shampoo empty, the toilet paper missing. The same also in the room of my friends. I have been travelling for many years but it never happened before! It was clear that the housekeeping service was not made. And was even clearer that the housekeeper did not check the job of the workers! I went immediately to the receptionist (who was lying down, very relaxed, behind the desk...), he told me just 'I am sorry' and he immediately called the housekeeping service for our rooms. Well, I do not expect the top of the service in a 3 stars hotel, but the daily housekeeping service absolutely cannot be an optional when you spend 85$ per night!

• romanj201 (8/5): Nice hotel in nice neighborhood - We only had 1 night at Samir Hotel as it was our starting point of our Uzbekistan journey. The place made a brand new experience, everything looked nice and our room was spacious and clean. WIFI worked fast. The breakfast buffet was a nice selection of Uzbek dishes with eggs and muesli. We enjoyed a short walk thru the neighborhood, a green alley, and not to far away from the main street where you find some supermarkets and basics restaurants.
• PPB (8/5): Central in Tashkent, good price - The hotel occupies a very nice three-storey building on the border of a rich central neighborhood of Tashkent. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, beds are perfect. Staff is in general very friendly and accommodating (only one person was somewhat unpleasant), even preparing for us breakfast 2 hrs before the official breakfast time, at 5 AM! Breakfast is pleasant, mostly Russian style,but with local bakery products and homemade cakes. Unfortunately coffee is not their thing, but tee is excellent, optionally with their special local lemons. Overall, indeed strongly recommended if one wishes to avoid the big modern hotels and prefers a more cozy, authentic place.
• kanterezza (6/5): Well placed, good potential, to be improved - Nice hotel, nice emplacement in a quiet part of the town, residential. Renovated, large rooms, nice staff, pretty exterior and interior. But there are 3 minuses in that place. ** Soundproofing - if you don't like to hear the ringtone or even a vibrating phone of the neighbor, or some people talking in the corridor, or guys from the reception watching tv - using a really low volume - avoid to come here. ** The bathroom is old, bad lighted and need to be renovated, really, especially faucet. ** The breakfast. Few, average, and if you want some espresso - it's an over charge. But the value for money still good, so...
• Denis (8/5): Une bonne surprise avec des détails à revoir - Bel hôtel, au calme dans un quartier résidentiel tranquille, avec de grands espaces. Bien agencé et propre. Parmi les points négatifs, mauvaise insonorisation (on entend tout quand on est au rez de chaussée), la salle de bain méritant être remise à neuf...grandement, et le petit déjeuner perfectible (bon, expresso ne rentre par dans le petit déjeuner payé...mais le taxer à 4 euros, à Tashkent, faut le faire).
• Ed (8/5): Pleasant & Uneventful stay for 3 nights - Arrived at 4 am and was immediately given a clean well appointed room on the 3rd floor. The staff speaks Russian, and some rudimentary English. Genuinely trying to be helpful. Location of the hotel is in the center. The streets around are cal, clean and safe. There is no elevator in the building, but considering it's just a 3-story building, it should not be an issue. The breakfast is the area of biggest opportunities to improve. Selection is very poor by western standards. The omelet pieces are typically cold. They offer to cook for you eggs in the style of your choice, which made some difference. Very poor choice of fresh fruits. Considering that Tashkent is a heaven of fruits, that was surprising. Charging extra for regular coffee was also surprising.

• Tonemg (2/5): Worst hotel ever. - If you are going to avoid only one hotel in your life, let it be this one. The service is close to prison- service. The fodd is exelent....if you prefere food that is close to expire. The dinner is a suprise every day; some days they offer dinner, some days not. If they dont, they charge you extra to order form another restaurant. There are so many other hotels to visit in Tashkent, so this is only if all other hotels are booked, and you have to choose between the street and a hotel.
• msdora (10/5): friendly で 気配りのあるスタッフ - 近くにたくさんできた小規模のホテルの中では少し高いけど スタッフはよく気が効くし フレンドリーでなんでもすぐに対応してくれ とても気持ちの良い滞在ができました。空港からも10分ほど 2-3ドル程度で行けるので便利でした。
• bcOttawa (2/5): Do not book here!! - Worst customer service that I've ever encountered. We had stayed at this hotel in 2014 and it as alright and an acceptable hotel for three at a very reasonable price ($100 per night). Breakfast was horrible, but nothing else stood out as huge negatives...it was clean, safe, free wifi, etc. On a trip to Tashkent booked for Sept 19-27 of this year, my wife and I thought there was no reason not to stay at Samir again. As we new our plane arrived very late at night and customs,etc can be slow we paid (in advance!!!!) for the 18th to make sure the room would be waiting for us after a long day and evening of travel....20+ hours. Imagine our surprise when we arrived (at 3am on 19th) and were told our room had been given away as they had a last minute tour group book. No room that night or for next 2-3 nights. The hotel staff did not apologize, book us elsewhere or particularly care....they wouldn't call another hotel for us (said they didn't know any other hotels phone numbers!! We eventually took a cab to someone we knew home and got a couple of hours sleep. A nearby hotel - the Bek Hotel - gave us a room and price matched Samir. They told us we weren't the first this happened to. Bek was great, good rooms, pool, outside deck for relaxing. So don't stay at Samir if visiting Tashkent and DO visit Taskent!!

• Ausbek (10/5): Hospitality in Tashkent - Me and my friend were in Tashkent during Navruz. Absolutely nice staff are working there. Room was clean, good wifi for Tashkent, in walkable distance to restaurants, cafes and handy craft shops on Shota Rustaveli street. Breakfast was the same every day - buffet type (oats, muesli, one variety of cheese, salami, crepes if you're an early bird you can still have some). As per me this hotel is perfect for budget travelling and if even breakfasts are not for you, you can get great choice of food in the city, that's for sure.
• midway42 (6/5): Average city hotel. - I stayed at the Samir at the beginning (one night) and end (two nights) of my trip, using it as a recuperative rest-stop on the first stay and as a base to explore the city on the second. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and luggage was brought upstairs immediately. The room was clean although the bathroom had a fairly obnoxious shower that worked intermittently. Breakfast buffet was average when compared to other hotels in the country; the oatmeal was always cold and utensils few and far between. On the second stay housekeeping failed to show up, never a good sign! Service overall was polite enough but not exemplary. Price is right (~50$/night) as is the location (on a quiet side street and just a fifteen minute walk to Independence Square). My stay here wasn’t a disaster but there wasn’t a reason I would choose it again if I was in town.
• RossCSydney (8/5): SMALL NEWLY RENOVATED HOTEL GOOD POSITION - This hotel is newly renovated. The rooms are a decent size as is the bathroom. lots of hot water.The tv had all the international channels.The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is 10 minutes walk to the Metro and close to several restaurants and a small museum(worth visiting ) just up the street 5 minutes walk. The only problem with this hotel is the poor breakfast available. A bowl of hard boiled eggs ,a few bowls of cereal ,hard stale bread,,some cheese and meat and some savory cakes. You had to ask for some juice. Plenty of tea and coffee. If they improved the breakfast I would say it is a great Hotel to stay.There is also a modern shopping mall 10 minutes walk away.
• KhShukur (10/5): Great and smart place to visit - I heart about Samir story, last year Samir worked as Sayram but/and only thing is they changed the name of the hotel, compact and comfortable, every morning Swedish breakfast and wifi internet ( of course internet is not fountain as I supposed) but price for 1 night is quite good ($60)
• dk424 (8/5): Renovated small hotel in residential neighborhood - This hotel was known as the Sayram but recently changed the name to the Samir. The rooms and baths are small but handsomely renovated. Beds are the firm, Soviet-style type. The staff tries hard to please. The Wi-Fi reception was spotty for both nights we were there. Except for a small entry area and the breakfast room, there is no place - other than your small room - to hang out. The neighborhood is quiet but is a somewhat inconvenient location for most travelers. The nearest metro stop is a good 15-minute walk. Restaurants are few. The supermarket is also about a 15-minute walk. The Sharq Hotel - at the other end of Rakatboshi street - is almost identical in look to the Samir except that the rooms seem slightly larger and better equipped, common areas (lobby, garden and pool) are more spacious and the location (very close to a subway stop and small grocery store) make it a more attractive option. (I stayed in both.) Of course, it is slightly more expensive but (I think) worth it. But if you want to save a little money, the Samir is a good option for a small hotel.
