Guest Reviews
- Kamara (6/5): -
- David (4/5): A hotel that is looking rather tired due to lack of investment. - The staff are always friendly and deserve much credit. Very strong water pressures in the shower. Staff in the business centre/reservations were very helpful. The property is looking "tired". The choice of restaurant is very poor and the supposed Western Restaurant had an extremely limited menu. The internet was not working in the hotel lobby. The hotel seems to cater for Chinese and has a bespoke Chinese Restaurant but the other one seems to have been forgotten! The breakfast has very little choices for western palate. There is no iron in the room and to only press a shirt costs $2.75 per shirt. Very limited TV channels with very poor TV reception.

- Jenpil78 (9/5): So beautiful and clean. Rooms were huge too. A good choice in Lilongwe. - The place was so clean, and the hotel looked great. Very modern. The rooms were huge, and the aircon was cold and strong. Big TV, but not much voice of international channels. I wanted to use the pool, but it had just gone dark, and there were no signs up as to what time the pool opens/shuts.
The restaurant there is hugely expensive!! Nearly $30 for a plate of stir-fry rice, a beer and 2 cokes! Crazy!

- Emma (8/5): A great location for business stay in Lilongwe. - Big well furnished rooms, a gym and pool and two restaurants on site. A good breakfast buffet with a wide selection of food. Very helpful staff. Safe and secure. Some of the features feel a bit dated and there was no safe in my room. But staff are always quick to help.

Toilet was also no flushing properly Dirty room walls, guests next to the room were very noisy saw a lot of cockroaches in the room
and the flies in the dining room sitting on foot and at the table you are eating at were disgusting. It would help if you had a good fumigation and some fly traps around the dining rooms

- Louis (9/5): Nice place to stay. Value for money - Clean rooms despite Lilongwe City being generally dusty at the time of stay. That was impressive! Value for money. Nice western breakfast with a lot of variety to choose from. Good security around the premises. Friendly staff. Had problems to find contact number for the hotel. Got one online but it turned out to be for an individual who is not even connected to the Hotel! There was no body lotion in the room. Shower door couldn't close properly thereby allowing water to splash out of the shower when bathing.
- Spinks (7/5): Overall everything else is good - Very polite well behaved personal and very good location Stains on Walls and carpet. AC not working properly and I was promised new renovated room but got none.

- Robin (9/5): A very comfotable place to stay after a long flight from the UK - A very impressive, sumptuously appointed hotel for Malawi. The room was of an extremely high standard, very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was included and consisted of an extremely extensive buffet selection We ate in the the hotel's Chinese restaurant but weren't overly impressed. We stayed in the hotel again 3 weeks later, at the end of our trip, and chose to eat locally

breakfast
Clean linen House keeper to ensure
Aircons working well
Handover remote control at the time of check-inn unlike guests following for them at the reception.
Add TV channels to suit African test not Asian only as at current.
- Mercy (6/5): It could have been better if the staff were more competent and professional - Food was great as was the location. The rooms were also spacious and very comfortable with both bathtub and shower plus other services such as mini fridge, kettle etc The staff were very pleasant, however not very competent, forgot/delayed/misunderstood orders, were a bit overwhelmed at the reception desk, housekeeping requests not acted on promptly, The hotel needs to invest in staff training.
