Cosy cabin, extremely clean, with everything you could need to be comfortable, including wood for the fire and bird seed.
Loved the peace and quiet, fresh air, wildlife and plenty of options for long or short walks. Our 14 year old dog, Kaiser, loved exploring and meeting Dodge and Puku.
This is the perfect pet friendly place to chill and unwind.
- Gail (10/5): Escape to nature - It was absolutely beautiful, peaceful and very relaxing. Lovely walks with our dogs and one of the resident dogs was our very friendly and helpful tour guide. So much nature to see. Loved having visits from a variety of birds to the bird feeders on our veranda and the possums, pademelons and ? Bandicoots at night. Enjoyed every minute. Nothing
- Annelie (10/5): Return visit, yet again loved our stay. - Beautiful secluded location with most lovely walking trails to enjoy.

- Neil (9/5): Peaceful, cosy cabin, a lovely few days close to nature - The cabins were well spaced and private. A good size for us as a couple , (we enjoy a bit of space). The kitchen facilities were great, virtually everything we needed was there.
Wood burning fire was warm and cosy, a welcome addition . Lots of helpful and educational information in the cabin and also in the “shed”. Wonderful to see little wallabies around and the bird life varieties were exceptional. Our host, Ian was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.. overall it was a wonderful few days There was nothing to dislike, maybe the lack of wifi in the actual cabin but can also understand why some people don’t want it and it was available in the shed area and surrounds , not a dislike or complaint just a personal preference .

- Di (10/5): A little piece of paradise! - We loved every aspect of Bellthorpe. The Whipbird cabin was a home away from home. It had everything you need for a cosy stay. Fire place, outdoor area that is surrounded by perfect views, lounge, and living area that invites you to feel relaxed. The beds are comfortable, and the linen is 5 star. Big bathroom with a shower. We could take our dog, and he loved every minute on the property.
The property has an abundance of hilking trails, bird life, and tranquil peace and serenity.
We enjoyed the firepit that looked out over sun settings on the horizon. Bellthorpe is a paradise, and we can't wait to return. Not one thing

Peace and quiet.

- Robyn (8/5): Very good - The location is lovely with good access to rainforest areas and walking tracks. We stayed in the main cottage with raw timber throughout. There was a generous amount of firewood provided, allowing a continuous cosy fire to warm the cottage. Unfortunately, there was a mouldy/ musty smell as we entered the cottage. We found active mould behind the bathroom door and on the bathroom ceiling. This mould has probably escaped detection because the bathroom door is open while cleaning occurs.

- Lou (8/5): beautiful location, but needs some work :) - the views and walking tracks were amazing! there were a few little things that seemed to be missed that just made it a little uncomfortable. for example, not enough tea, coffee and milk for 2 days & 3 people, the bed was squeaky and lumpy (a good mattress topper would make all the difference), the couches were small and uncomfortable and the dining table was very wobbly.
- Wayne (8/5): Very good -
- Brad (10/5): True country lifestyle - We loved the serenity, the peacefulness, the wild life, the simplicity of the accommodation was delightful and took us away to true country life! wish we had more time
