• Akiko (2/5): 他の日本人経営の宿 - 他より安い 他の口コミにもある様に、施設にも部屋にも入れない（記載の番号と実際の番号が合わない）電話が2件とも音信不通、メールが届かなかったが送ったと言い張る。前の客とトラブルがあったらしく、客をもう信じないと自分に関係ない愚痴を聞かされた。3日間スタッフもオーナーも不在で鍵開けっぱなしで過ごしたので防犯にも問題があります。
• Jonas (1/5): Vermieterin betrat die Wohnung ohne Ankündigung und drohte wiederholt mit Rauswurf, absolut kein entspannter Aufenthalt. - Lage war in Ordnung. Unsere schlechteste Erfahrung auf Booking Bevor ihr bucht, nehmt euch bitte einen Moment, um unsere Erfahrung zu lesen – damit ihr sie nicht selbst machen müsst. Wir haben zu zweit ein Family-Zimmer gebucht. Wir haben keine hohen Ansprüche, weshalb uns die mangelnde Sauberkeit nicht gross störte, aber bei unserer Ankunft war die Wohnung extrem kalt. Deshalb haben wir die Klimaanlage eingeschaltet, die jedoch nicht richtig funktionierte. Wir mussten in Hoodies und mit mehreren Decken aus den anderen Betten unserer Unterkunft schlafen. Nach dem zweiten Tag erhielten wir von der Vermieterin eine Nachricht, in der sie uns aufforderte, eine neue Unterkunft zu suchen und „uns zu verziehen“, da wir angeblich zu viel Strom verbrauchen würden. Die Vermieterin verschaffte sich ohne vorherige Ankündigung Zutritt zur Wohnung, stellte die Klimaanlage ab, ließ jedoch selbst alle Lichter an – wodurch wir bemerkten, dass jemand in der Unterkunft gewesen war. Sie wollte uns rauswerfen, weil wir mehrere Bettdecken und Matratzen benutzt hatten (obwohl wir die gesamte Unterkunft gebucht hatten) und die Klimaanlage länger eingeschaltet war, bis es einigermaßen warm war. Jeder Versuch, eine friedliche Lösung zu finden, wurde abgelehnt. Uns wurde mehrfach mit Rauswurf gedroht, und die Aufforderung, uns unsere Privatsphäre zu respektieren und vorher Bescheid zu sagen, wenn sie die Wohnung betreten möchte, wurde konsequent ignoriert. Während wir in der Stadt waren, betrat sie mehrfach unsere Unterkunft und es wurden außerdem Fotos in der Wohnung gemacht, unter anderem vom Bett, das laut Vermieterin „zu viele Bettsachen“ nutzte. Wenn ihr einen entspannten Aufenthalt wollt, bei dem ihr nicht ständig befürchten müsst, dass jemand ohne eure Zustimmung die Wohnung betritt oder ihr plötzlich ohne Unterkunft dasteht, bucht lieber woanders. Wir konnten uns überhaupt nicht mehr entspannen und waren eher in Sorge, am Abend plötzlich ohne Unterkunft dazustehen.

Poner una cama de matrimonio y dos literas separadas por cortinas en una habitacion sin ventanas es deprimente. Sumale que los lavabos estan en el comedor, la unica habitacion exterior con magnificas vistas a un patio.

This place is cheap compared to most spots in Japan — you get what you pay for! There’s a washing machine, fridge, microwave, and even a rice cooker. I was really happy with my stay! :)

• james (10/5): - I loved this place. It was so clean and quiet and the manager couldn't have been more helpful . A real pleasure to work with . Transport links into Kyoto were pretty good too with 20-30 trains every few minutes. Kitchen well stocked , washing machine and even provided a free parking space for my scooter. And best of all a lovely , comfy bed .

• John Andrew (5/5): - The location near the town center and ferry port was very convenient. The room was large and surprisingly cheap for its size. We didn’t see much of the manager/owner, but she was kind. The property also had cooking and laundry facilities as well as a balcony. 都心や港に近く、とても便利な立地でした。部屋は広く、その割に料金も安かったです。オーナー（または管理人）さんとはあまりお会いしませんでしたが、感じの良い方でした。炊事や洗濯ができる設備もあり、ベランダも付いていました。 The place felt quite dirty and was cluttered with old, worn-out decorations and religious books. I think it would be much better if they cleared out the unnecessary furnishings to create a cleaner atmosphere, and hired cleaning staff to regularly maintain the bedrooms, kitchens, and sinks, as well as remove items left behind by previous guests. There was also confusion upon our arrival (and the arrival of other guests), as the room’s floor was not specified and the entry instructions were unclear. 室内はあまり清潔とは言えず、古くて傷んだ装飾品や宗教的な本がたくさん置かれていました。不要な家具や物を片付け、清掃スタッフを雇って寝室・キッチン・洗面所を定期的に清掃し、前の宿泊者が置いていった物を処分すれば、ずっと快適になると思います。 また、到着時に部屋が何階にあるのか説明がなく、入室方法の案内も分かりにくかったため、私たちを含め他の宿泊客も混乱していました。

• Ben (4/5): Disappointing. - The town was nice. Waterfront is pretty with water fountains at times with colours at night. Nearby places to walk in park, etc. The second room we were moved to was more like what was advertised. A lot. 1. We booked a family room solely for our use (as advertised). Around when we arrived we were messaged that there's a change & we'd now have single rooms - we still thought were solely for us, incl bathroom. The apartment was part storeroom with stuff everywhere, rather than "family room" but we just thought that's how it was. The "bedrooms" were separated by partitions. 2. We went for a walk & took the door key with us. When we returned there's another family in our room & our belongings had been stacked in the living room. They were let in by host/owner who decided to put us into a shared dormitory, toilet, bathroom without letting us know or offering discount. 3. The other family were also confused & kindly phoned the host who came to explain the situation, including that we're now expected to share the space. 4. We explained we'd be moving out the next night as the room was unacceptable. The host offered partial discount after we complained (no other room available). 20min later host returned & advised we could move to another room. On inspection the 2nd room was more like what we thought we'd originally booked - we accepted partial refund & moved into this second room. 5. Host stopped replying to messages on last day. 6. The Advert photos & info don't represent the actual property. These things were advertised, but not provided: - The room is different to photos. - No smoke alarm (It's a break the glass & push button fire alarm on the stairs.) - No key card access, it's a key box. - No Thermometer (we didn't want one, but don't advertise if it's not there) - The "lockers" in shared room require you to provide your own lock. - No daily housekeeping & only some rooms have a washing machine. - The host speaks barely any English.
• Mami (2/5): - 外国の宿泊者とトラブルがあり、落ち着いて過ごす事が出来なかった。その外国の方は、部屋以外が共用部分だと知らずに、何故私たち専用の階に勝手にいるんだ？と詰め寄られました。あんなゲストハウスはもう嫌です。
• Keisuke (4/5): - 総合的に悪い。 オーナーは、日本語を十分使用して会話をすることが困難であり、メッセージでのやりとりや電話でのやりとりに不安を覚えるものであった。 また、他の客との取り違いの連絡もあり、これもまた不安を煽るものであった。 設備面においては、シャワーの水圧がよく変動し、冷蔵庫は動いておらず、その上腐った牛乳が放置されていた。 良いところは料金の安さであり、3000円で寝るところを用意してもらった点では感謝したい。 Worse overall. About the owner Difficulty in using Japanese sufficiently to have a conversation. The communication by message and by telephone was unsettling. There were also miscommunications with other guests, which also made us feel uneasy. About facilities The water pressure in the showers often fluctuated. The fridge was not working and rotten milk was left on top of it. The good thing is the low price, and I would like to thank them for providing us with a place to sleep for 3000 yen.
