- kerr (10/5): - 100% recommend Rhapsody resort, staff were all so lovely and welcoming, when checking in i was upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment with an ocean view for free, i was able to have both city and ocean view in my room. I will definitely be coming back. If your looking for a nice place to stay while in Queensland I highly recommend booking here.

- Jacqui (8/5): Spacious apartment - Room: apartment style so great if your staying a few days and want to have more space. We had a full kitchen - even a full sized fridge, and a laundry with washer and dryer. Location: Right across the road from the beach. Nice walk along the beach in either direction. Only a 2min walk to the tram line. The cafe downstairs was really nice - had breakfast there every morning! Great food and coffee. The first thing we noticed is that it’s not just a hotel with holiday/business guests - it’s residential as well. So it didn’t give us that “we’re on holiday” feel. It also felt a little bit like we were intruding especially when using the communal areas - you could tell who was also trying to enjoy their holiday and who was a resident annoyed with people in their space. Room: - We booked an ocean view but it was closer to a partial ocean view as our main view was of the road and buildings… still pretty at night, but not what I imagined. - this got resolved but we had to ask two seperate times for a new mattress sheet because the sheet didn’t fit the mattress- the sides didn’t come close to being able to be tucked in - so there was exposed mattress. The first time we asked I thought it would be a simple fix, but later in the evening when we got back and nothing had been done, we asked again. The bed was remade though in the end! It just felt like we were the ones being inconvenient. Location: not a huge issue for us but might be for families - there weren’t many dining options at night in the immediate area - either 10-15min walk, or jump on the tram (1-2 stops away)

- Leanka (7/5): Good location but a few notes - The location was great - close to the beach and just across the street from the tram station and also within walking distance along the beach to the main surfers paradise shops. The room was convenient for 2 nights. The TV had Foxtel and Casting so we were able to watch anything from our streaming services. The bathroom was nice and spacious and had a washing machine + dryer. The parking was free (albeit not guaranteed and works on a first come first serve basis). We didn't really hear the construction or get bothered by it. The rooftop garden lookout was nice but unfortunately one of the tables was closed off and the other one was too wet to use due to some rain earlier in the day but the view was still lovely looking along the beach despite a small portion of it blocked by the construction. The room was a little dated, the blinds were old and the shower fan didn't seem to work that well as all the windows had condensation dripping down them in the studio after the dryer was on for only a brief amount of time. The woman at the front desk informed me as she was taking the $100 deposit that my specific bank will likely take 30 days to return the deposit to me, however the other hotel we stayed at during this trip had my security deposit returned within a day of checking out so I don't understand why this place takes so long and would have been helpful to know beforehand that they claim specific banks take much much much longer to return but anyway. Overall was a decent stay considering we were out and about mostly and the location was convenient for that.

- McCullough (10/5): Excellent location , apartment was lovely - We loved the apartment, the side view of the sea, it was very clean and spacious. Bed comfortable and the shower was great. Handy to the tram. Short walk to the beach and walking distance to the shops. Loved the pool and spa. Very friendly accommodating staff. We were advised of the noise from construction across from our room and we understood but it did affect our need for peace and quiet and we only got 1 day reprieve from the noise. Booking.com cancelled our initial booking during our cruise( 2 days out )due to a set payment issue( out of our control due to no Wifi to connect to check ) and we did not get our initial room booking and we had to pay more .Very stressful . Condiments .i.e tea bags only got 4 for 4 days. One has to pay for extra of everything including toilet paper if you ran out. . Should be included for the nighly price of $335 The view was great but was obscured by very dirty outside windows

Some staff were really helpful and our room was cleaned everyday when needed. The views are breathtaking from the room. We had a king bed (2 king singles pushed together) my side was quite comfortable and I had no issues however my partners side (his bed) was so firm his back is paying the price currently. The only other negative was the building construction next door although this didn’t disrupt us too much during our stay. One of the staff was also quite abrupt when telling us the elevator was out of order which took us back a little bit but all other staff were really lovely and helpful.

Access to the roof with a BBQ area is great. Plenty of free parking. The TV in the lounge room didn't work , it would turn on and off but wouldn't go past the main menu, the TV in the bed room is not a smart TV, no apps or casting available only free to air channels. The shower head was very poor quality, half of the water was leaking at that base. The dryer was extremely loud and vents straight into a wall , so it wasn't very effective.

We were there for 4 nights in a 2 bedroomed apartment. I thought it was ridiculous if we wanted additional normally complimentary items, they were all at a cost e.g. extra loo roll, tissues, dishwasher tablets, change of towels, bedding, clean, shampoo etc. This was a first for me.

- Mellybear29 (9/5): Rhapsody Awesome! - The room, albeit a bit small, still had EVERYTHING!! Including a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, pots and pans! I mean, everything! Was great! A convenience store right there on ground level and only a short walk (5-7 minutes to Cavill Avenue; the centre of town! Was really great. So clean and tidy too. Oh yeah, also has a gymnasium and a gorgeous rooftop BBQ and garden area. And GREAT value for money. Would most definitely stay there again. Loved it. Very happy indeed. Actually, can't really think of anything too much wrong. Had a great stay!

Friendly staff couldn't fault anything. Very good price, and the surf was the only noise so can't complain about that. The hot spa downstairs was 5*

Furniture in apartment was a bit tired. Bed was uncomfortable-like sleeping on coils. If owners don’t want to upgrade mattress then perhaps they should look at a mattress topper. Lounge furniture was very low to the ground which makes it difficult for older users.

- Paul (9/5): Very Comfortable - Rooms were a good size. Staff were friendly and check in after hours was easy Nothing really.
- Josh (10/5): Best place for a family in Surfers - Ocean views, amazing rooftop, friendly staff. We extended our stay to a month and it's the best place to stay in the Gold Coast in our opinion. Outside of all the action but an easy walk along the beach to Surfers. The light rail stop downstairs is also great - contactless payments for 50c fares so no need for us to rent a car. Self catering makes it feel like home and it's super easy to arrange grocery delivery. This is far superior and more cost-effective than any hotel in the Gold Coast. There is construction of the Meriton on the east side, but if your apartment faces north then you don't see it anyway.

- Clodagh (10/5): Pleasantly surprised - I was honestly a bit apprehensive when I saw some reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised! The studio was clean, well located and the bed was super comfortable! Would absolutely stay again!
- Ruchira (10/5): Affordable, extremely convenient and friendly staff! - Excellent location, just one minute walk to the nearest tram station, extremely friendly staff (helps you with booking of attractions, airport shuttle etc) and the room had a great view of the area. A convenience store is located just next door.
