Я в восторге от сервиса, чистоты, комфорта и приятных сюрпризов, которые нам подарил этот отель, а в частности персонал отеля Chanuka и Kasun! Они всегда шли нам навстречу, удовлетворяли каждую просьбу и в целом сделали наш отдых незабываемым, я ещё долго буду вспоминать смешные и невероятные композиции из полотенец)) Обязательно вернёмся сюда снова, спасибо!)

• Aleksandr (10/5): Островок уюта на оживленной улочке - Останавливались на 4 ночи. Отель расположен на оживленной улице по центру пляжа Унаватуна. Завтраки в ресторане напротив Hot Rock - чай, кофе, сок, яйца, приготовленные выбранным вами способом, тосты, джем, масло и целая тарелка спелых фруктов! Особое внимание заслуживает чистота отеля - безупречная сантехника, ежедневная качественная уборка номеров. Полотенца и постельное белье всегда белые и чистые. Приятный бонус - оригинальные фигурки из полотенец, украшенные цветами, каждый день разные) Перед отъездом сотрудники отеля приятно удивили небольшим подарком - упаковкой местного чая) Команда отеля всегда вежлива, готова помочь, приятна в общении. Всем рекомендую, лучший отель за наше пребывание на Шри Ланке!

Если возвращаться , то только сюда ! - Пляж Унаватуна - самый лучший на юге острова И сам такой маленький городок просто очень комфортный , все на второй день тебя знают и приветствуют , очень комфортно и спокойно ! Мне очень понравилось после Хиккадувы )))) Отличное отношение персонала отеля и сотрудников ресторана Hot Rock . Оценку снизил только за отключение электричества , но зато побывал в номере лакшери Аралийи Отключали электричество 2 дня , но это не проблема отеля , а проблема правительства . Пришлось платить за номер в Арайлии

Sur la plage attenante des bains de soleil vous sont réservés. Le personnel est absolument adorable, comme partout au Sri Lanka. Le ménage est assuré deux fois par jour, ce qui n’est pas toujours évident dans ce pays. Et un petit jus de fruit frais vous est offert tous les soirs dans la chambre ! We wished we could have stayed there for a little longer. The location was great, the hotel was located one minute from the beach and we really appreciated sunbeds were included for hotel guests. There were many shops and restaurants in walking distance which we enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and helfpful at all times with anything! They made the stay special! Nothing

It is described as 50 square meters and it is no more than 20 square meters with 3-4 square meters for the bathroom. When we questioned this we were told that it was a mistake on booking.com’s description and could not be changed.

From the minute I stepped out of my taxi The Wave welcomed me with its glorious staff and their enthusiasm for attention to detail. A very small hotel just three rooms with a big warm heart. I’m sure there are more staff than rooms! Quality fresh breakfast. The room was big, clean, and had a boutique feel to it. with every amenity you could want, down to quality towels, bath robes and even straw sun-hats for the beach. Excellent shower. Nothing was too much trouble, and the best house keeping I’ve ever experienced. The sister restaurant over the road offered excellent food at ridiculously low prices and prime sun beds on the stunning beach with super staff and a really cute dog! I was really sad to leave, I will certainly be back. Nothing not to like!

• Marchus (10/5): Would come back anytime - and again - The rooms were large, very well maintained, very clean. The staff were amazing and always welcomed us with a smile. The room was tidied and cleaned more times every day. The neat towel sculptures on the bed changed every day and every time the room was cleaned - always with I nice card and also a goodbye present. The breakfast was served with pride - and what a breakfast! Just amazing. Thank you to the young men who made our stay memorable. We were living on top floor - which was great. Good view of the ocean. No elevator makes it hard if you’re not in shape. BUT the staff carried all our luggage, so we had nothing to complain about
• Taura (9/5): Švarus viešbutis geroje vietoje - Labai švaru, yra chalatai, paplūdimio reikmenys (krpešys, skėtis, rankšluostis, kepurės). Skanūs pusryčiai, tik jų reikdavo laukti apie valandą. Gera vieta- netoli daug kavinių, šalia vandenynas (per gatvę), nemokami gultai paplūdimyje (šalia esančioje kavinėje). Personalas paslaugus, bet gal kiek įkyrokas- kambarį tvarko du kartus per dieną, nuolat judina asmeninius daiktus, pvz. užseginėja kosmetinę, kas šiek tiek erzino. Oro kondicionierius gana garsiai veikia.
• Thomas (10/5): Tip top - Das Bad ist wirklich mega schön und modern. Besonders nett: die Handtuch-Figuren, die jedes Mal zum Schmunzeln einladen. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Sauberkeit und Details gelegt wird. Nur paar Meter zum Strand Alles gucci nichts schlechtes.

• Miruna (9/5): - An amazing shower, hot water in abundance, clean room, very good AC, a huge and super comfortable bed, daily towel change (and daily towel surprises from the 2 “towel artists” in the staff), breakfast with a lot of amazing fruits and plenty of options everyday (we discussed daily what to have for breakfast the next day as it was sort of à la carte and not buffet). The location right across the beach was also very good. Amazing staff who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, they organised some surprises for me for my birthday and generally were super supportive with all requests we had. The reception area needs some work to really give it a hotel feel but it did not mater in the overall scheme of things, as the room itself was very good.

Отель предоставляет бесплатно лежаки на пляже, который находится в метрах 20-30 от отеля. Окна выходят на дорогу, но шума практически не слышно. В качестве локации идеальное решение, всё рядом. Персонал очень услужливый, 24/7 на связи. Нам здесь очень понравилось! И мы с удовольствием вернёмся именно сюда Понравилось всё

• David (10/5): - We had two rooms at The Waves for 7 days and were really impressed with the two upper rooms which had clearly been recently renovated and are position close to the beach and nearby bars and restaurants. The staff The Waves really are the stars of the show, they are incredibly friendly, hardworking and do everything they can to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We all said we'd love to come back so hopefully this isn't our last stay!

• Philippe (10/5): A Hospitality Gem in Unawatuna! Must visit. - Basically everything and I mean it. I have been an avid traveller all my life (more than 100 countries) -from early backpacker days to staying in luxurious resorts. During the holiday Xmas season, we thought to try this boutique hotel given the inflated prices and unavailability during this season. Wow... What a surprise to us ..a truly undiscovered gem and no match to the hospitality here! 1)The rooms are sparkling clean. In fact cleaner than what I saw in Anantara or similar places. They clean (at least twice a day) The staff and managment will make anything they can do to make you feel at home. 2) The breakfast, served in the beach located restaurant opposite (called the Hot Rock) is splendid and they serve you seated in 4-5 courses with a breathtaking view of ocean and waves! 3) very central location in Unawatuna with everything reachable by short walk and little tuk tuk ride if little further out of town 4) the overall unstressed and relaxed vibes 5) the special attention in every little thing. (They notice we came back from a trip every day and would bring some nice fresh juice/ice coffe/sandwiches for free by themselves) 6) special thanks to Chanuka and the manager boss ;) 7) very responsive via whatsapp for anything you might need. Overall, strongly recommended if you look for: great great service, cleanliness, great bathroom, superb breakfast, amazing location and a feeling of being welcomed. • Alex (10/5): Excellent - We cannot recommend The Villa highly enough. We originally came here 23 years ago, on our honeymoon and had an amazing time. Returning this year, we couldn’t believe how the beautiful classic rooms with gorgeous four poster beds were all still the same. Some of the staff were the same too, which was lovely and we shared old photos of our original stay. The staff really are amazing, this isn’t a big hotel, only 6 rooms, but it is so lovely and one of the original 4 places you could stay when we first came. The combination of beautiful, classic rooms, with staff who really care, makes for the best possible experience. Shhhhh… don’t tell anyone else, I want to be able to book to come here again!

Номера идеально чистые, светлые, всё продумано до мелочей: от пляжных полотенец и соломенных шляп до переходников, фумигатора и зонтика на случай дождя. Ежедневная уборка в номере и приятные сюрпризы😁 В общем, обслуживание в отеле выше всяких похвал, особенно хочется отметить Чунуку - всегда приветлив, угощал холодными коктейлями и помогал если возникали какие-либо вопросы. Также было очень приятно внимание в мой день рождения, украсили номер и организовали торт со свечками - это просто в самое сердце. Если будем ещё раз в Унаватуне, то обязательно вернемся именно в этот отель.

The beds are super comfortable – I slept better here than anywhere else in Sri Lanka. The staff are a solid 10/10: every day they offered me an upgrade room free of charge, complimentary fresh juice and water, and when I asked for a late check-out they were happy to accommodate me. • Anna (10/5): Однозначно рекомендую этот отель 🫶🏻 - Если бы можно было поставить 100/10, то обязательно бы это сделала ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Начну с того, что это САМЫЙ чистый отель, который мы когда либо встречали на Шри - Ланке. Белье и полотенца меняли каждый день и персонал уточнял сам , нужно ли убраться в номере. Помимо средств гигиены и полотенец в номере были зонт от дождя ☂️, сумка с пляжными полотенцами и шляпами 👒 Пляж находится в 50ти метрах от отеля и вид на море просто шикарный 😍 лежаки с зонтиками предоставляются бесплатно, что тоже очень приятно Напротив находится кафе, в котором можно заказать еду в номер. В общем, достоинства перечислять можно долго и скажу, что минусов просто 0. Отдельно хочу выразить благодарность персоналу отеля, очень отзывчивые и всегда готовы прийти на помощь.

Stayed at the top floor with an amazing view of the ocean. The room has all you need - comfortable bed, AC, bathroom and even an umbrella. You may hear some noises from neighbouring spots but they close around midnight.

• Fabrizio (7/5): This is an overpriced guesthouse. Don't expect a hotel. - The room is comfortable and well equipped, although pretty basic. The bed is extremely comfortable.and the guy who runs it and welcomed us went beyond our expectations. Extremely kind and helpful person and this is the only real reason for my positive review. This is not a hotel. It's a guesthouse. No hall, no services as a hotel. The breakfast (good quality) is served at the restaurant facing the structure, but it took a long time to be served. We couldn't use the "beach club" as there are only a few chairs and they were occupied early in the morning (before 8 am) by guests or people that simply put their towels to reserve a sunbed. The price is definitely too high for what you get.

• Folake (2/5): Was not suitable for my needs, but I quickly found another place to stay. - Nothing except the gentleman who worked there was very helpful. I was on the first floor - there is definitely no view of the sea. The actual room opens straight on to a busy road - so your curtains have to be kept closed (if you like your privacy) and this hotel is on a very busy road and opposite a restaurant. There was no hot water during my stay and I couldn’t really stay for more than one night due to the fact that the room opened to the main road. It very basic and definitely not worth the amount per night paid. I had to cancel my remaining days due to this fact. You will also need ear plugs due to the busy road it’s on.

• Manjula (10/5): Exceptional - A nice spacious room, with a very comfy bed, powerful AC, and every amenity one could need, right down to beach hats and tote and beach towels! The bathroom was sparkling clean too, great fixtures with an excellent shower! The room is cleaned everyday, even little details like the pretty arrangements with bath towels! It's run by the same people who own Hot Rock just opposite, so we had all-time access to their sunbeds and cabanas without needing to pay. The food is pretty good there anyway, so we ate there a couple of times too! And the nicest part - super friendly people, and really helpful too. Chanuka (sorry if I misspelled his name!) was so cheerful and kind, and welcomed us with a very refreshing juice, and surprised us with a lovely snack of hoppers and juice one of the evenings! Oh and finally, the location!!! Absolutely perfect, just a hop skip through to the beach 😀 Overall, a wonderful stay!

• Ghadeer (8/5): Nice but pricy - The place is very clean, spacious room, bed is super comfortable, and the shower is great. Overall, it was a good experience. The staff (Chanuka) is super friendly and goes above and beyond. Small gestures go a long way, such as complimentary drinks and a goodbye gift. The manager is always just a WhatsApp message away and attends to all your needs and concerns. He even gave me a late check-out for free, which is highly appreciated. They helped me get a transfer to Negombo, where I booked for my last night before the airport. They offered beach towels in the room and breakfast at the restaurant just across the road (Hot Rock). While I didn't try the breakfast, I had lunch there, and the food was delicious, very clean, and is also right on the beach where you get sunbeds and beach chairs. The price is quite hefty compared to similar accommodations around the area, charging equivalent to 4 and 5 stars hotels (300$+ for 3 nights!) While the accommodation is comfortable, it is still considered basic in comparison. The roof leaked when it rained outside. WiFi was spotty, and there is quite some noise from next door's bar of loud music and fireworks, as well as some construction nearby.

A breathtaking view from the balcony. The room was so breezy & everything felt very well thought through. High quality furniture & linens. An AMAZING shower & THE BEST team working. They even gave a farewell gift! Highly recommended! The stairs 😄

• Priya (10/5): Amazing Beach View and Perfect Location - This hotel is clean, spacious and has an amazing view of the ocean. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was delicious and is served in the restaurant on the beach in front of the hotel. On the day of checkout, the restaurant was closed as it was a holiday. Breakfast was served to me on my balcony which was a nice touch as I could leisurely finalize my packing and eat breakfast with the view of the beach. The beach is literally across a small street. Sunbeds, umbrellas, and beach towels are all provided. The room is cleaned daily. Besides the restaurant in front of the hotel, there are lots of other restaurants along the street serving a variety of cuisines. The room does not have a mirror. The bathroom has one but would be nice to have a mirror in the room.
• Caren (10/5): Amazing hotel. Definitely book if you can - The location was right on the beach. The room was large with a great bathroom. The best shower we had on our trip. The balcony was lovely overlooking the sea. The staff were amazing. The air-con leaked and was fixed in under 2 hours. We even had a small present on leaving. We also had a late 5pm check out. Absolutely faultless hotel Nothing it was great.

Room is big, clean and also had our own private balcony. We stayed on the top floor. Really peaceful could hear the ocean with h the door closed....

The staff were super friendly, and you could really feel the good management. It was just perfect! Our room (The Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View) was spacious, clean, and had the most amazing view of the sea. The beach was pristine and quiet, with warm water and gentle waves in the afternoon. And let me tell you, staying here felt like being at home with family. Everything was spotlessly clean, the beds even had mosquito protection, and the food in the restaurant was incredible. They even made fresh juices on the spot! Plus, being just steps away from the ocean was unbeatable. We lucked out and got a room with a direct ocean view - it was absolutely breathtaking. And the service? Top-notch. Cahlindu and the staff went above and beyond to make our vacation the best one yet. They even arranged a free late checkout. Plus, they shared invaluable local tips through WhatsApp. The attention to detail, from the elegant decor to the thoughtful amenities, was incredible. Pure magic. If we ever visit Unawatuna again, you can bet we'll be booking this place without a second thought.

• Verified traveler (10/5): BEAUTIFUL Haven with Ocean View - Service: 5/5 - Fantastic. Right from the start Prasanna was hugely welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help. He didn’t try to sell any additional services or tours etc. but was available anytime we needed assistance - even arranging Tuk Tuk journeys when we were elsewhere to come and pick us up and not be scammed by some others that were waiting to take advantage. Value: 5/5 - Excellent value for money. The hotel is small and has great modern decor. Breakfast which is served downstairs was beautiful, with a great selection of fruit, toast and tea/coffee made to order. Cleanliness: 5/5 - Spotless. Amenities: 5/5 - The location is great, being right on the beach with an ocean view and there are a range of places to eat around you. If you are just arriving, ask to be taken to or look for the Hot Rock Restaurant and the hotel is opposite - above the Burger and Ice Cream shop. The Wifi worked well. Thank you for an excellent stay Prasanna, I can highly recommend this place!
• Verified traveler (4/5): Habitación con gran vista - Nos asignaron la habitación del 3er Piso que es la que tiene la mejor vista. La playa esta a unos 25 metros. El cuarto es amplio aunque la limpieza NO es su mejor característica. Tiene olor a humedad aunque tiene Aire Acondicionado. El desayuno aunque básico es bastante bueno.
