Important Information
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Only fully vaccinated guests with proof of their digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate are allowed to check-in at our hotel. Guests who are not / not fully vaccinated with an admissible reason are required to obtain a letter of consent by an appointed Doctor.

She is honestly one of the best front desk staff I have ever encountered — extremely helpful, professional, friendly, and always serving with a genuine smile. She truly went above and beyond to provide outstanding hospitality and assistance during my stay. I had an event at the Sunway Resort Ballroom, but unfortunately I accidentally booked my stay at Sunway Lagoon / Clio Hotel instead of Sunway Resort or Sunway Pyramid Hotel. Due to the distance, carrying luggage became difficult, especially since my car was parked at Sunway Resort Hotel. On top of that, the weekend traffic around the area was extremely bad, making it hard for me to move my car. Yukiko immediately stepped in and sincerely tried her very best to help me. She kindly arranged transportation to pick up my luggage from Sunway Resort Hotel and bring it over to Sunway Lagoon Hotel. I was genuinely touched by the effort and initiative she took to assist me. Not only that, during my check-out today, although the concierge service officially starts at 8.00am, I checked out around 7.40am. Once again, Yukiko personally helped to arrange and send me to Sunway Resort Hotel. What impressed me most was that her actions felt truly genuine and heartfelt. She was not just doing her job — she genuinely cared about helping guests and ensuring we had the best possible experience. Sunway is truly lucky to have someone like Yukiko as part of your team. She reflects the true meaning of excellent hospitality and customer service. I believe she will continue spreading positive experiences and strengthening the wonderful reputation of Sunway Hospitality. Please convey my heartfelt appreciation to her and the management team. Check-in was an absolute breeze thanks to Ryan, who was professional, welcoming, and handled everything seamlessly. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. The food was great, and the restaurant manager was very helpful. The only significant drawback was the swimming pool. It was quite slippery and had visible algae growth, which felt unsafe, especially for young children. I hope management can address this maintenance and safety issue soon. Aside from the pool, the service and hospitality here are excellent!

To our surprise, we were not given an extra bed beside the king bed in the room. Further check with Agoda require us to pay for extra bed even though the booking is for 3 adults which we paid for it. Very disappointed with Agoda. The good news is the guest relation manager Yukiko Yong at Sunway Lagoon Hotel understood our frustration with Agoda & provided complimentary extra bed for us. We are very grateful for her kind gesture as you can imagine 3 adults sleeping in a king bed. Good job to the team at Sunway Lagoon Hotel & i will be back tor sure. A big thank you to Yukiko.

As we have toddler and late check in, Ryan and the bellboy are very helpful all the checking in process. The bellboy help us to carry all our baggage without request any tips from us. We are so appreciate the effort. But the indian bellboy we encountered in 01 Apr 2026, 11.40am was very horrible. He claims that he got 10 dollar tips from other customer. We were thinking ok since you help us then we give that bellboy. But end up he says not enough. Please kindly look into it. It was very perfect but because of your staff. The whole hotel image crashed. But because i love this hotel i still get a rating 5.

- Trail43092153778 (10/5): Amazing stay at Sunway Lagoon Hotel - Big shoutout to Mr. Badlee and the team of Sunway Lagoon Hotel! We stayed 3 days 2 nights for our son’s birthday, and it was such a memorable experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast had lots of tasty options, and the hotel was so convenient being just next to the mall.
- camila (4/5): - DIe Lage von Hotel ist gut wenn man geschäftlich außerhalb Kuala Lumpo ist. Das Große Mall ist sehr gut. Personal an die Rezeption war kathastrophe, gar nicht service orieintiert und unfreundlich. Früschtück war OK GYM ist gar kein Gym und hat 2 Lauf band 3 gewichte und in Fahrrad. Dann lieber das lassen. Ausstattung und Sauberkeit in Zimmer nicht besonders gut aber eher Basic. Für den Preis würde woanders bleiben.

The hotel staff were all very kind and friendly, always willing to help. It’s a very convenient hotel, with the shopping mall right next door. Overall, a pleasant stay that I would gladly return to.

I was on a biz trip and forgot my biz card and promotional materials from Singapore.He readily arranged and all printed and collected same day!. He is such a resourceful man and became my personal helpdesk. My wife joined me later and they helped change my room type and a pleasant late checkout when requested. Really a God-sent man.Overall, my wife & I had a wonderful Christmas stay at Sunway Lagoon Hotel. Kudos to you guys .Will be back again.:)
