- RoWa (10/5): Unkomplizierter Aufenthalt. - Sehr aufmerksames Personal, Sauberkeit, hübsches Zimmer im 1. Stock mit Balkon, geräumige 55 m2. Tauchbasis am Areal, gutes Restaurant, Parkplatz, Infrastruktur rundherum okay. Zimmermädchen top! Wilma an der Rezeption supertoll. Einige Tische und Stühle im Areal wären schön, da man sich mit anderen Gästen nur im Restaurant treffen kann und nicht im öffentlichen Bereich. Blick auf den Parkplatz nicht soooooo schön (dafür ruhiger als Pool Blick)

Mogelijkheid om bij de kamer te blijven of te mengen met de andere gasten. Wij hadden een rustige kamer (605) maar hoorden wel veel verkeer en op de tweede avond in de nacht luide mannenstemmen aan het praten. Zou het kunnen zijn van de bewaking? We zaten daar dichtbij.

Experiência péssima para quem mergulha sem sair de barco. Nada fácil pegar cilindros e material. Concorrentes possuem serviços 10x melhor. Tivemos uma discordância em relação ao café da manhã no último dia, mas a atendente foi muito compreensiva.

- Max (8/5): Dat was Top Zou wel fijn zijn als duik-operatie ook wat flexibeler zou zijn. - Ontbijt was prima en Rum Runners staat los van HAB. Communicatie met HAB vooraf over extra persoon, waar al voor betaald was uitermate stroef en droevig. Uiteindelijk wel goed gekomen. Communicatie met staf HAB, 1 nacht minder geen korting maar wel het volle pond willen rekenen bij 1 persoon 1 nacht extra gaat nergens over.

Pier for snorkeling (and diving, but we are not divers). Swimming pool near the rooms with sunbeds. We liked everything, would definitely recommend staying here!

- dawn (8/5): - Stayed for a few days. On a beautiful bay. No beach but you could access the water to snorkel or swim from the dive shop dock. Room was adequate for a few days. It definitely is time for painting and upgrades. Shower leaked around glass. The foot had a 2” gap in one corner that allowed mosquitoes in. Easy access to pool and dining room. Dining was excellent. Great staff of waiters. Our air conditioner broke down the last night of our stay flooding the floor. The front desk gave us pool towels to lay on the floor. We were concerned about mixing water with the electrical as it appeared to drip through a light in the bathroom too.

- Nicole (8/5): - Great experience at captain dons. One issue with service in the restaurant. Didn’t have anyone come over to us for quite some time. Things happen. Not meant for a bad review. Just to point out so it can be addressed. Other than that, it was great.
- Lauren (10/5): - This was our third stay at Captain Don's, we loved it as much as the first time, in 1998. We were upgraded to the deluxe oceanfront suite, great view, large room. 2 pools at the resort. Staff helped us with car rental options after the place we reserved with had no cars. We enjoy being in the quieter area away from town. Having a car is needed if you want to explore the island (which you definitely should) but, if you don't have a car, there's a supermarket and some restaurants walkable to the resort. Onsite dining and bar at the resort as well. Bar bites and pizza on site in addition to the full restaurant. The reef to the right was good for snorkeling, plus 2 resident tarpon had out under the restaurant.
- Vaughan (8/5): For Scuba divers/snorkelers, this is THE place. We've been many times – it never disappoints! - We've stayed at Captain Don's Habitat many times over the years. But note, this exists mostly for Scuba divers and serious snorkelers. They operate several dive boats throughout the day, and the dive team is first class! For those purposes, it is excellent. Great breakfasts, lunches, and superb dinners, so you don't need to head into Bonaire town for anything, but if you do, it's about 15 minutes away by car/taxi. The staff are helpful and responsive. For it's purpose, there's nothing to not like!

Grocery store was a short 5-8 minute walk away. Staff was very friendly. The diving was excellent! Great staff and dive leaders. Nice small dive groups and great access to house reef which was great! The one restaurant was expensive!

Had pamphlets in back of the lobby.

Pools and accommodations were clean and comfortable .Family very happy to snorkel & Dive on site Access to town . Relied heavily on taxis . Surprised you don’t have a free shuttle to the airport for your guests . Not informed of excursions available unless asked . Breakfast at Rum Runners was a gamble . Didn’t replenish when needed. Had to look for utensils/ napkins.

Nice gift shop on site along with bar and restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. No beach but we were there to snorkel. I wish I would have done more research as there are some other great snorkel sites I wish I could have gone to.

No option to order anything off a menu. 20$US ROOMS are somewhat tired , bed frames were nicked, floor tiles had many “ divots”, housekeeping was good some days. Diving and snorkeling are very good. Really is a divers destination

- Breguinus (9/5): Superb - Beautiful location directly at the sea with very nice well maintained gardens. Diving either directly from the dock or from one of many boats in dive sites nearby. The RumRunners restaurant is very good in upmarket expensive high quality food and drinks. However, it’s a little mismatch to the kind of easy going less posh more down to earth divers staying at the hotel.

I especially like how they do several single tank boat dives a day. You simply sign up on the marker board for which boats you want to go out on. You can also just grab some tanks and head out on a shore dive whenever you want. Would definitely recommend. There wasn't anything we didn't like. It was a really great operation.
- Barbara (6/5): - We paid hotel taxes through Expedia when we booked our room. When we got to the airport, we were stopped by two men that told us that we had to pay a tax at the airport. I ask what the tax was for and they said because people that stay in condominiums don’t pay the hotel tax so Everybody has to pay it. I told them I could show them where I had paid the hotel tax but they charged us $150 anyway before they were even let us enter the airport. We had to charge it on our charge card and this is out rages to have to pay the hotel tax twice I would like somebody to call me about this. My number is 361-758-2028 and my email is. They took a $500 deposit on our charge card as soon as we got there . we had to leave at 4 AM on the 29th so we were told to come back at 5 o’clock on the 28th and take care of our bill. They told us we owe $259. I said take it out of our $500 deposit and they say they would, but checking my credit card statement but they charged us the $259 on our charge card anyway.
- Alisa (10/5): - Stuff very friendly . Location is beautiful . It is a no frills 3 star hotel, but it is facing the sea , views are spectacular . Restaurant on site or 5 min drive . Reef is to die for next to the shore for snorkeling

- Robert (10/5): Great Dive Resort - Excellent dive resort. They make it super easy for you at Captain Don’s to dive as much as you would like. I stayed in one of their new rooms and it was clean and comfortable and 1 minute walk from the water and restaurant.

- Kristen (8/5): If you’re looking for value and dive freedom, you can’t go wrong with Captain Don’s! - The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location is good and of course the diving operation offers unparalleled freedom. The house reef was worthwhile. The restaurant was tasty and the staff there was super pleasant as well. Our room was right next to the dive shop and was in need of updating. However, we had been upgraded to an oceanfront room for free, and we would most likely have had a renovated room if we’d staying in the garden view room we originally booked. So it was a trade-off.

- Tina (10/5): Solid stay and nice staff - Great place to stay, convenient, great restaurant / bar options, nice staff, and rooms were clean - the only issue I had was the bed was pretty hard, and we struggled finding parking inside the lot when they had an on-site event, although there's street parking as well.
