- Rachael (9/5): nice tidy little rural cottage close to wineries and zoo - Location was rural but handy to wineries, and the zoo. quiet setting amongst the trees tea and coffees supplied Unfortunately, there was a burn off done in the area one night which was quite smelly. can't be helped. Not sure if owners knew but would have been good to know that's what was happening. Maybe a note.

- Emma (8/5): Loved it! - We loved the cottage, it is very simple and cosy. It's in a great location, not far from town but in a beautiful quiet bush setting. The bed is old and not very comfortable. There were no dinner sized plates or bowls so meals were a bit tricky.

- Lizzybet (6/5): We didn't spend a lot of time there as it was just really somewhere to sleep. - Good location. Self-contained. The grounds could be lovely but very dry as rely on rainwater only. Villa just needs a bit of updating including the reading material. Bit overpriced for what it was. A comfy lounge chair would have been nice. Also some milk and spring water would be welcomed.

A peaceful location and still very accessible to the vineyards. some firewood provided would have been the icing on the cake

The place was very comfortable, peaceful and private. There was nothing I 'didn't like' but I guess some of the furniture looked a little 'tired'

- Simon (10/5): Quiet but central - It was a lovely quiet place to stay. Was well located so close to do what ever you needed to in the Valley. With the rain the road in could get a bit challenging as it is largely unmade, however, we managed fine in VW Golf. We enjoyed our stay and would use it again.

- Ann (10/5): Family weekend COVID safe getaway - The cottage was ideal for our family of 6 adults and two children aged 5 and 11/2 for a long weekend. Two adults had a wedding to attend nearby so the location was very convenient. The cottage is well equipped with everything we needed and very private and safe. We enjoyed the BBQ and pool and air conditioning was welcome particularly upstairs. This cottage is close to the main vineyards attractions but remote enough to give a lovely country experience.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Remote but not - We stayed in the Fantail Villa and found the cottage to be clean and spacious for two people. Woodlane Cottages are close by to Ernest Hill with the visitor centre about 5 mins drive from our accommodation. We found the bed to be a little too firm and I was surprised by the size of the bathroom. It was very large and made for people in wheelchairs. A beautiful location. Would stay again and would recommend.
