• Gabriele (9/5): We would definitely stay at the hotel again and can recommend it . - The hotel has a very good location, 10 min walk to Naschmarkt and Karlskirche. Subway, bus and tram are very close. The breakfast had lots of choices, very satisfying. The room was not large, but nicely furnished, same with the bathroom. We liked the classical Viennese look of the hotel, the reception area war very pretty and like a little museum that explained the history of the hotel - nicely done! The breakfast area was at times very crowded, and the tables were spread out (into the adjoining restaurant), there were no trays to carry the food which required several trips to get everything to the table.

Eine persönliche Anmerkung: ich hatte einen rein persönlichen Zimmertausch Wunsch den das Team mir sofort mit größter Mühe erfüllt hat. Vielen Dank dafür, das ist nicht selbstverständlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder !

• Tihda (10/5): Perfect historic stay in Vienna within walking distance or a short tram ride to the sights! - Historic hotel with many comfortable amenities. Breakfast was amazing with many options! Close to many tram stops. There is a self service laundry a few blocks away. It’s a historic hotel, so be mindful that the spaces are smaller. U-bahn stop is a little farther away than the tram stop.

• Roger (10/5): Perfektes empfehlenswertes traditionelles Hotel nahe Innenstadt - Wir sind mit unserer Hündin dort gewesen und das gesamte Personal war von Anfang an ausgesprochen herzlich, nicht nur zur uns, auch zu unserer Hündin! Uns wurde zusätzlich auch noch ein Hundebettchen und eine Wasserschüssel in das Zimmer gestellt. Das Hotel selbst ist eine absolute Empfehlung, ein sehr gepflegtes und sauberes Haus mit klassischem Interieur, geräumige Zimmer, sehr bequeme Betten und ein ausgezeichnetes Frühstück. Die Lage ist absolut perfekt, ruhige angenehme Gegend, Straßenbahnhaltestelle direkt vor dem Haus, Karlsplatz und Innere Stadt fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Wenn wir wieder nach Wien kommen, wählen wir definitiv wieder das Erzherzog Rainer.

Solicitamos una habitación tranquila y atendieron nuestra petición; la habitación daba a un patio interior muy tranquilo y no se escuchaba nada. Bien ubicado en un barrio tranquilo, pero dando un paseo estás en el centro. Para nosotros todo estuvo fantástico. Quizá, por decir algo, el tamaño de nuestra habitación, es un poco justa, pero para dos personas esta bien.

Ogni zona della città è comunque raggiungibile in breve tempo grazie alla metro e ai tram nelle immediate vicinanze. Abbiamo apprezzato molto l'atmosfera d'epoca delle sale. abbinata al confort e modernità della camere. Ci hanno offerto un upgrade della camera (matrimoniale superior), molto gradito. The room was of a good size, and everything was very clean. The hotel restaurant was also very good. Although the breakfast was of acceptable quality, it could be improved. For example, natural fruit juices could be provided, and the boiled eggs were slightly overcooked.

• Ilona (9/5): - Die Lage war super. Nah an der Strassen- und an der U-Bahn. Man ist auch schnell zu Fuss in der Innenstadt. Das Zimmer ist schön und stillvoll eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer war mit einem Spannteppich ausgestattet. Das Personal an der Rezeption war super nett und hilfsbereit. Das Personal im Restaurant war leider nicht so nett. Das Essen war durchschnittlich. Wir waren einmal etwas Essen und einmal haben wir nur etwas getrunken. Leider an beiden Tagen die gleiche Erfahrung mit dem Personal gemacht.

Omdat het warm weer was, verwarmden de kamers ook erg, waarschijnlijk centraal geregeld. We konden de airco niet gebruiken.

• Emanuela (10/5): Soggiorno perfetto - L'Hotel Erzherzog Rainer è una struttura elegante e pulitissima, dove l'atmosfera curata si sposa perfettamente con la gentilezza di uno staff sempre sorridente. La posizione è ideale: a due passi dalla Karlskirche e dal centro, ma anche vicinissimo ai mezzi pubblici e a servizi utili come supermercati, panetterie e farmacie. La mia camera era splendida, molto luminosa grazie a tre finestre che garantivano comunque un isolamento acustico perfetto, e dotata di un letto davvero enorme. Ottimo anche il ristorante adiacente, che offre piatti di qualità e un gradito sconto per gli ospiti dell'albergo.

• Dana (10/5): We will return to this property! - The staff is extremely helpful and professional. Our room’s decor, cleanliness and very comfortable mattress made our stay exceptional. The location- district 4 - makes walking into the main part of the city an easy 20 minute walk. My family would stay here again. We had some difficulty adjusting the temperature of the room to make it cooler for sleeping.

• PaulW (5/5): Very old fashioned hotel would not stay there again. - The rooms are large, clean and the beds are comfortable. It's only 10 mins walk from Karlsplatz station It's very old fashioned. I haven't had to leave my room key with reception since 1974! There's only one small lift, there's no room service and apart from 1 young man on reception the staff are unwelcoming. The bathroom needs updating - you need to step over the side of the bathtub to get into the shower area and remember not to bang your leg on the the taps when showering. Even though we had paid for the room we decided to move elsewhere.

The bathrooms have few basic amenities (no shampoo, cream). The staff at the breakfast buffet are kinda rude to guests… for the price-quality proportion, some things could be improved.

Service certes suranné mais impeccable et de grande classe. Petits déjeuners somptueux et complets. Idéal quand on revient du Kunsthistorichesmuseum avec des merveilles plein les yeux.
• Hans-Michael (5/5): Hatten von einem 4. Sterne Haus mehr erwartet!! - Personal sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit, Lage vom Hotel sehr zentral, kann viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß besichtigen,, div. Lokalitäten im Umfeld des Hotels, in unmittelbarer Nähe REWE-Geschäft für Einkauf div. Kleinigkeiten (z.B. Getränke), optimale U-Bahn und Straßenbahnanbindung. Frühstück war zufriedenstellend am 1. Tag, ab 2. Tag unseres Aufenthaltes (war mehr Auswahl möglich, so dass auch mehr Gäste sich noch entsprechend bedienen konnten) Badezimmer extrem klein, Badewanne sehr schmal, diese ist zusätzlich als Dusche zu benutzen, Bewegungen während des Duschens fast nicht möglich, da der aufgesezte Spritzschutz dies nicht zuläßt. Die Matrazen in unserem Zimmer waren sehr rückenunfreundlich (hart!!)
