• Yolanda (8/5): - We really love the location of this hotel ,right off St John's river and downtown. There were also food trucks and vendors this time. Nice place to stay. Our room faced the river and there is access to the Riverwalk. Love sitting outside, especially in the morning. The water in the shower did not get hot. When I looked closer i realized the shower head was old, rusty while the rest of the bathroom/fixtures were fairly upgraded.

Wasn’t told that I could decorate the walls of room until my the day of.. Had already booked it.. It was for a wedding proposal so it was to late to switch hotels.. made the best of it

• Maria (5/5): It was just ok - The bed and pillows were very nice. TV was good to have as the town is pretty boring. Maria at the front desk was a great addition She made us feel welcome and we had a few laughs with her. The restaurant across from the hotel was excellent. Unfortunately I can't remember the name. We didn't like the fact that the fridge was broken. There was no microwave. They put us in a room over looking the parking lot. There were available rooms over looking the water they could have put us in, as the place wasn't busy. So we were a little disappointed.

• Marian Linda M. (5/5): The amenities were a disappointment, but the staff is great. - I love the staff. They are so friendly and so helpful that I hesitate to complain. I would suck it up and not complain if it was just the sorry coffeemaker I didn't like. I brought my own coffee pot. Or the placement of lighting so poor that we couldn't see in places where we were working. But not having a microwave in the room killed breakfast for us, and we don't want to dress and go downstairs for breakfast. The real disappointment was discovering, after I washed my hair, that there was no hairdryer in the room. That's taking drip-dry too far, y'all. I am surprised and disappointed to see Hilton get this chintzy. Please put small microwaves and a decent coffeemaker back in the rooms, and don't forget the hairdryer. I know you're thinking of your bottom line; but try balancing that with your reputation for comfort and great amenities.

• Cowan (4/5): - We stayed a Friday night for the Blue Crab Festival and had a very poor experience checking in. We were denied a second parking pass for my daughter who met us there. We drove 3 hours and she drove 2 hours only to be told firmly that they only allow 1 parking pass per room and she should park at the courthouse. We ended up having to rent another room so she could park in the lot with us without getting towed. It was a very expensive parking pass and this particular staff member was rude while training a new employee. She went out to the parking lot later with her flashlight to check the parking passes in the vehicles. It was a very traumatic experience. We could have made arrangements if we had known in advance of their parking rules for events.

There was a festival going on in town that messed the traffic patterns and the front desk was able to give us clear directions to go around it. The breakfast was nice as well. I like to add that all of the staff was friendly and accommodating.

• Jo Ellen (10/5): Great hotel - FANTASTIC SERVICE - We were heading home from a soccer tournament in Sarasota when we unexpectedly needed to stop for the night. You know how it is - almost home and now we needed to spend more money on a hotel. Best $149 I have spent in a super long time. We were graciously welcomed at check-in my a charming desk clerk who gave us our choice of rooms and helped get us settled in to do laundry and get some sleep. She was professional, interested, and engaging. The room was just the right size, clean and plenty big. But, to be clear, it was the excellent service at check in that turned an annoyance into a pleasure. This is my second stay at this hotel and we will absolutely be back.

• Kimberly (10/5): - Our check in was very easy. Our room is very comfortable. Breakfast, coffee and other drinks and snacks are delicious. The staff are very friendly. Lots of activities to do locally.

• phillupi (10/5): Exceptional Hospitality - We were in the area attending a wedding and needed a place to stay for the night. We booked the Hampton. We were traveling for a while. The normal check in is 3:00 and our wedding was at 4:00. Upon calling we spoke with Marie. She was extremely pleasant and was able to get us an early check in and called us back to let us know. We crossed paths again with Marie a couple more times and as she couldn’t have been nicer. It’s great to come in contact with someone so pleasant. The overall hotel was great. Clean, neat, no noise and spacious. Thank you.

• Mickey (8/5): Pretty convenient to eateries and not too far from Rodeheaver Boys Ranch. - On the St John River - not too far from Rodeheaver Boys Ranch where we attended a bluegrass festival. We usually take our camper and stay at Ranch. Closet extremely small…hardly enough room for one person’s clothes… let alone two person’s.

• Bonnie (8/5): - The hotel room was nice. Enjoyed the view of the water. The bed was comfortable. Probably the only thing I would change is a few more towels in the room. There was only one bath, one hand and 1 wash cloth per each. My spouse and I like to shower sometimes in the evening before bed and again in the morning when we travel and the towels were still a bit damp for use the next morning. Other than that we both enjoyed the place and will use that hotel again
