Guest Reviews
- Amanda (10/5): Great spot for a quiet weekend getaway! - Staff was super friendly. The view from the balcony was breathtaking both evening and morning. It's very isolated and when we arrived we hadn't eaten and there isn't a restaurant, just keep that in mind. Highly recommend a drive into Eureka Springs while you're there. We did that for dinner and then came back for the sunset. All around a great weekend getaway!
- Andy (6/5): - Would have been higher, but the bed was old and capet needs changed.
The view was perfect!
- Sheila (10/5): - The view from our balcony was awesome. The staff were helpful and fun to visit with. Great escape.
- Christine (10/5): - Arrived early and manager let us in. Gorgeous views of Beaver Lake and a comfortable stay.
- Eric (10/5): An amazing diamond in the rough - The service provided was out of this world. Felt more life family helping than staff. The building is definitely starting to show its age and could use a few updates. It is out of the way of anything so I would recommend bringing some microwable food but that means it is perfect for an escape from the hustle of life and a peaceful retreat. I know it's advertised as a wedding and event destination but I do think it should be more of a retreat destination.
- Stacey (8/5): Relaxing Getaway - Most amazing views of Beaver Lake and Lost Bridge Community. It is quiet and relaxing. We had a balcony overlooking the lake. It was peaceful. This place is a hidden gem. Wayne is very helpful!
- Charlotte (6/5): - Property needs updating.
- Jerry (10/5): Great views, comfortable rooms - Great views, lovely staff. Our room had a window in the shower that allowed others in the room to see in but otherwise the room was great. The balcony was shared amongst three rooms which could make for great talks with the fellow guests or great for a family to have a larger gathering place.
- James (10/5): - Beautiful views and an amazing sunrise.
- Melanie (10/5): - Breathtaking views of Beaver Lake on my private balcony. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of HOT water to fully fill the jetted tub in my suite.
- Tim (10/5): - Excellent
- Duane (10/5): Wonderful - The view is fantastic. Wayne was terrific. This will be on our list for a return trip.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The view from the room was beautiful, definitely recommend lake side rooms.
The breakfast could be better in weekdays, hot cooked breakfast will improve the hotel quality.
However, staff was friendly and kind enough to make us feel revisit the hotel.
- Tiffany (10/5): - The Whitney Mountain Lodge was just what my husband and I needed for a little relaxing getaway after a very stressful week. The staff member who greeted us showed us to our room, showed us how everything worked, and was very pleasant. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the view of the lake from the balcony in the moonlight, as well as when the sun rose. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and just the thing we need to fuel up for our day. I would highly recommend staying here, and I plan to visit again!
- Tony (10/5): - Great view of Beaver Lake
- J (8/5): - Loved our stay!
- Alisha (10/5): - Loved our stay here! The view is gorgeous! We stayed in the suite with the jetted tub which was great! Wayne who manages the property is awesome and so welcoming and helpful. They have an event space too that we’re considering for our wedding. It’s an older property but is very charming and functional with big suites and amazing views! Will stay again for sure!
- Verified traveler (8/5): The best view on the lake! - The view is remarkable, the owner is great, the room itself was pretty comfortable the bed wasn’t great. I prefer a bed with some integrity, this thing was a marshmallow, zero support.
- Megan (10/5): - Loved it. Wayne was awesome. We will be back
- Rajat (10/5): - Good place to stay
- Mark (10/5): Beautiful hotel and views of the lake! - The lodge is small which is great, and the manager waited until late in the evening for me to show up.
- Bryan (10/5): - Billion dollar view from the highest point in Benton County
- Jonathan (10/5): - Unmatched views of Beaver Lake. Great staff, great experience. Highly recommend!
- Michelle (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful views
- John (10/5): - Onl
- Martha (10/5): - Beautiful scenery. Better than advertised!

- John C (10/5): The perfect place to stay!! - We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. Wayne was wonderful and took care of my wife and I perfectly!!
- Nicole (10/5): Beautiful views! - Pleasant stay with beautiful views! Wayne met us at the entrance, check in was quick, walked us to our room, showed us around and brought breakfast the next day. Quiet spot. Balcony was perfect. Decor was a bit dated but didn't hinder the stay on bit. We had a bump in our schedule on the previous reservation and he was so accommodating, we were able to rearrange. We will definitely be back. Great experience.
- David (10/5): Quiet place to relax - It was amazing. Great customer service, the rooms was great and breakfast delivered to our door Sunday was over the top.
- Bonnie (10/5): - Very nice little lodge looking overbthe lake.
- Adam (10/5): - Gorgeous view and the staff was 5 Star
- Randal (10/5): Found a hidden gem - We loved our stay. The property has amazing lake views, and Wayne is a great host. He really made us feel welcome. They delivered a hearty breakfast right to our room that was way better than the breakfast buffets at larger hotel chains. If you like lots of pillows bring a few extra. We will because we are going back.
- Desiree (10/5): - A gorgeous place to stay overlooking the Beaver Lake area. Very quiet and rustic, but comfy and spacious. Remote area with no businesses or restaurants close by, so you might want to bring food. Very friendly host and staff. We enjoyed it very much.
- Hilda (10/5): - The hotel was at the top of a mountain with incredible views of Beaver Lake.
- Jason (10/5): - Great balcony view of the lake and sunrise. Friendly people, great spot to relax.
- Daniel (10/5): - Very pleasant lodge with great views. Enjoyed our stay.
- Ken (10/5): Knockout views - Clean room, inn keeper was very hospitable, comfortable bed, knock out views from the room. Breakfast was average. Aged but well kept. A little off the beaten path. We will be returning.
- Meghan (10/5): You gotta go! - Such an amazing place. The owner is so nice and helpful the view is amazing!
- ranjan (4/5): - view from the balcony was superb. Not much positive to say otherwise. The Inn is really a run down place. Hallways have smell of old carpets and still air. The facilities at the inn are suitable for weddings but hard to imagine someone will book the place for such occasion.
- Antony (10/5): - Our stay was phenomenal. The attention and service we received - including homemade breakfast delivered every morning- were exceptional. We WILL be back.
- an (10/5): Quiet getaway - So quiet and peaceful- perfect place to relax and beautiful view of the lake
- Cole (10/5): - Highly recommend! The view is absolutely stunning, and staff was amazing! Definitely will be staying again.
- Dayana (8/5): - The manager was helpful explaining everything upon our arrival. The view was nice and the place was fine. The balcony was a disappointment, we thought it would be a private balcony and it was not. We had a shared balcony with the other two rooms on the sides.
- Jeff (10/5): - Stayed in the Honeymoon suite and had an amazing view. Room was fine, but the view is why you stay.
- Lori (10/5): - Great hospitality! The manager was so accommodating and kind. The room was clean and comfortable, and the view was FANTASTIC! It was so peaceful and relaxing. We will visit again….and again!
- Richard (10/5): We would definitely go back! - Very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast brought to your door!!! Beautiful views.
- Patricia (10/5): - staff very helpful; beautiful location. breakfast included, but lacks nearby restaurants.
Nice, quiet getaway place
- Trella (8/5): - Amazing view of Beaver Lake. Balcony. Huge bathroom with nice tile work. Wayne and Linda welcome you like family. Quiet, peaceful, secluded, and safe. Good night's sleep. A great end to a day at Pea Ridge Battlefield National Park.
- Angela (10/5): Hidden gem at Beaver lake - Whatever amenities the room lacked, the exceptional view and friendliness of the manager more than made up for!!! Older lodge but loved the quiet atmosphere and Amazing view of Beaver lake. Basically felt like we were the only guests because it was so quiet. Private patio was awesome and size of the room was spacious. If you like a really fluffy bed that curves around you then you will love it. Sunrise view is amazing. This lodge is a hidden gem and we will definitely stay here again.
- Julia (8/5): - Amazing view and comfortable beds. The location is very peaceful. This is a great place for adults. I would not recommend it for children.
- Alexandra (10/5): Beautiful view - The balcony view was amazing. Bed was really comfortable, and the room was huge. It could have been a little bit cleaner, for example their was a ball of hair in the window sill and the carpet needed a cleaning. Overall a beautiful place to stay, would like to go back.
- cynthia (10/5): Breathtaking views - Beautifully situated in the mountains overlooking Beaver Lake. The proprietor welcomed us and helped us with our luggage. The breakfast room was a spacious lodge setting with ample selections of food and drink. Our room had a balcony that offered an incredible view of the valley. One caution is the very comfy king size mattress was set atop a wooden box framework and my husband hit his shin against the unprotected corner (invisible behind the bedspread) and got a large welt! So, check the bed platform! We place towels there thereafter and 2 plastic trash cans as a warning barrier!
Overall, a wonderful place to stay! (No elevator to second floor where we stayed so be prepared to carry luggage)
- Cynthia (10/5): - Everything about this Hotel was comfortable and relaxing. Destination is super extra secluded. No dining options for dinner, but they do offer snacks and drinks. We drove out to Pea Ridge with us about 15 miles away. No complains, beautiful scenery. There were a few deer sighting on our way back up to the hotel. Definitely recommend getting a balcony with the lake view. Coffee on the balcony to the sunrise was magical. Would love to come back.
- Brian (10/5): Million Dollar Views! - Wayne is an amazing host. The view is probably the best in Arkansas. We felt like we were in St. John's or Hawaii. Just could not believe it was Arkansas! You will want to bring some snacks/food with you since there is no restaurant nearby. We packed a charcuterie board and some wine and dined al fresco on the balcony. Make sure you set your alarm to catch the most amazing sunrise!
- Isabella (8/5): Beautiful view - It was a short stay. Staff was very friendly.
- Austin (10/5): Best view of the lake by far! - Gentleman at the front desk was very nice. He walked me to the room and showed me how to use the key to get into the room. He offered me some snacks while walking to the room.Once inside he gave me a tour of the room. He showed me the fridge that he had stocked with a few different sodas and bottles of water. Also in the room was a coffee pot that came with nice, glass coffe cups. No plastic cups here. He showed me the view from the balcony which was beyond beautiful. Over the room was very nice. Staff was very friendly. The room may not have been the most modern but what very enjoyable. The view overlooking the lake was absolutely amazing. Would definitely stay here again as long as i got the same room with the view.
- William (10/5): Pleasant overnight stay. - My husband and I stayed at Whitney Mountain Lodge for a short road trip to visit friends. We were late checking in Wayne meat us at the door he was very nice, checked us in quickly and showed us to around and told us about our room. We enjoyed our stay just wish it could of been longer.
- Dennis (6/5): - Beautiful view and the room was clean though dated. Nice staff. No amenities (laundry area, pool, etc). The closest place to eat is a 30 min drive. Way overpriced.
- karyn (10/5): - Unique property with spectacular views of the lake all around. Comfortable rooms with access to balcony for a peaceful stay. There's no amenities nearby with food options.
- Irina (10/5): - The view is amazing! 😍
- Cody (10/5): - Whitney Mountain Lodge is a a great place to stay. Wayne is very friendly and helpful. The property and the view from the balcony is beautiful, the room was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again.
- Kermit (10/5): - Great view of Beaver Lake!
- Kayla (10/5): - Beautiful property, really nice people that work at the lodge. Give them a little of your time and hear their stories
- Scott (10/5): - This is a modern, clean property with good WiFi and a million dollar view of the lake below. It was about 10 minutes to the water by car for us.
- Cyndi (10/5): All I can say is WOW - My husband and I came to Whitney Mountain Lodge to celebrate our wedding anniversary.Wayne is a spectacular host. He is very warm and welcoming, escorted us to our room and brought Champagne for our celebration. We have never stayed in such a peaceful and relaxing hotel. But the main attraction is the VIEW all I can say is WOW. We will definitely be back in the future, In all honesty my husband didnt want to leave.
- Philip (10/5): Beautiful view, welcoming staff - We had a great time at Whitney Mountain Lodge. Wayne made us feel very welcome and helped us with our room. Our balcony gave us a beautiful view of the lake. The room was comfortable, bathroom was excellent, and our stay was memorable.
- marisol (10/5): - staff was so friendly. breakfast was great . the more special thing was the view. omg the more beautiful lake view that i never had. this place have everything, romantic, relaxing and adventurous, definitely the best place in Arkansas.
- Fawne (10/5): Awesome views - Husband and I stayed at this amazing lodge. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely nice and friendly. The view from our room was awesome. We will definitely be back.
- Theresa (6/5): - The room was clean, did see in cockroach but other than that it was clean..needs more lighting. The outside did smell pretty bad.they need to scrub the area where the trash is ,especially if you have to park around that area. The smell should be the first thing you smell when you het out of your car.
- Eddie (10/5): - Loved the view and the breakfast was delicious.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Wayne was so nice and helpful! I would highly recommend Whitney Mountain Lodge! We will definitely be coming back! The sunrises and sunsets over Beaver lake are amazing to watch!
- Missey (10/5): - Beautiful area, views, rooms definitely going back
- Tonia (10/5): - The view of th e lake is AMAZING!
- Sandra (10/5): - What a peaceful retreat! The balcony overlooking the lake was a beautiful place to enjoy the sunrise. I only wish we could have stayed longer!
- james (8/5): - lake view,
the bathroom window a little weird, maybe we are just old fougies.anyway all is well.
- Sharon (8/5): The view at Whitney Mountain Lodge - This was a nice lodge, sitting on the highest peak in the county overlooking beautiful lake Beaver. The balcony view was amazing. Lots of outdoor activities in this area if you boat, fish, etc. Also, an small airstrip close by. Room was neat and clean but could use some updating. It had everything we needed as we were just looking to stay over night. We couldn’t ask for better service and appreciate the host for taking care of us. It is a little out of the way but if you like a peaceful, small, beautiful hideaway this would be it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing views, very clean and staff friendly, couldn’t ask for more .
- Matt (10/5): - Very beautiful place we where late arrivals and they waited for us to arrive
- Lisa (8/5): - Our stay was very relaxing, jetted tub was clean and the bed was comfortable. Wayne, the hotel manager was awesone! Very attentive and friendly. Only complaint if any would be a little musty smell in the hallways and there were no towel racks in the bathrooms.
