Joseph (6/5): - We stayed at the Kimpton Seafire Resort in Grand Cayman from Sept 15–19, 2025. The property is beautiful, clean, and exactly what you expect from a luxury resort, but I’m giving 3 stars due to how uncomfortable I felt after how a situation was handled. On our first night, we had a cigarette on the balcony without knowing there was a no-smoking policy. The next morning, we received a letter stating there would be a $350 charge per incident if we smoked again — fair enough, we understood. The next day while napping, Charlie from the front desk called to say we were smoking again and that security was watching our balcony. This was disturbing since my wife has a disability and we spend a lot of time outside. When I went to the desk to explain, Charlie changed the story several times — first saying security saw us, then that a guest above us complained (we were on the top floor), then that neighbors complained (there were hardly any guests at the hotel). From that point forward I felt my privacy had been violated. I didn’t allow housekeeping in my room and avoided the balcony. Other issues: construction noise from the pool bar started at 9 a.m., and the concierge gave us incorrect excursion times (luckily we were early or we would have missed them). Positives: Nick at the beach was excellent, as were the bell staff and quick room service. But overall, I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed for a resort of this level.

Alona (9/5): Total relax - The property is very welcoming, with professional and helpful staff. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which I really appreciated. The swimming pool was closed for two days, but the hotel kindly removed the related charges. At breakfast, I would suggest adding kiwi and avocado, which I personally missed. The beach, gym, leisure facilities, and overall atmosphere are beautiful and relaxing. The sea is simply stunning! 🌊 At breakfast, I would suggest adding kiwi and avocado, which I personally missed.

The staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The beach is just steps away and is breath taking. Our kids also enjoyed the onsite water park which was well kept as well. We will definitely come back in the future.

Olena (10/5): - Amazing resort we keep coming back to, one of best beaches in the Caribbean, amazing food (not cheap but very good 👍) , attentive staff, everyone is trained by best customer service standards. Clean rooms. We had no problems whatsoever. Few tips: They provided sunscreen near the pool and at the beach, so no need to take yours with you unless you want to. Water in reusable bottles also provided. At 5-6pm wine 🍷 and snacks provided daily (social hour in the lobby) for free. In the morning free coffee and tea provided as well. We would 100% recommend this property. Our kids loved it as much as we did. (Their sister property Indigo is very close too if you want to check out more budget friendly option but same high standards as IHG providing.)

Asha (2/5): - I recently stayed at your property and wanted to share some honest feedback regarding my experience. While I had previously stayed at a Kimpton hotel in Seattle and had a great experience, this visit unfortunately did not meet those expectations. This trip was meant to celebrate a special birthday, which was noted in my reservation, yet there was no acknowledgement of the occasion at any point during my stay. More concerning were the following issues: Hygiene and Cleanliness: I reported seeing a mouse in my room and was told it was "just a lizard," which felt dismissive and inappropriate. I also raised concerns about what appeared to be bed bug bites. I was told they were likely insect bites, and although I was informed an investigation took place, no one followed up until I reached out again. I was told there were no bed bugs, but no further explanation was offered. Unavailable Amenities: I was charged a resort fee, yet several amenities were not accessible. Floating rafts were unavailable (checked out and never returned), no bicycles were available for rent, and it was impossible to get even three lounge chairs together at the pool or beach. Inconsistent Service: Turn-down service was not provided on two nights. I spent a great deal of time calling the front desk and waiting for updates or callbacks that rarely came. In the end, I gave up following up as I didn’t want to waste more of my vacation on basic service issues. I’m disappointed that my concerns were repeatedly

Mario (?) at the omelet station in the breakfast venue is serving up epic omelets and the welcome treats upon check in are stellar. The rooms are clean, bed comfy, breakfast yummy. Our family will be back to Kimpton.

Kavita, a co-manager, made sure every detail was looked after in a speedy manner. We would come back in a heartbeat! The beach was clean and free of sargassum. Beach service was great. The water was calm. There were included non-motorized sports, umbrella/chairs, and sun screen with the resort free. The pools were clean and again great service. There are small areas for zero entry. There is a ping pong table by the pool. There is a splash pad near the beach. The food at the restaraunts was good but of course resort/island prices. We enjoyed eating off property. Need car or taxi. Free coffee in AM. Free Wine hour and caprisun/fruit snacks from 5-6.
